Chapter eighteen

As I was saying, the cloud entered the cat's organism and; as he supposed that it was the only option in his desperation to see his inner self trapped, as a consequence, a kind of madness was generated in him. The truth is that no one knows for sure what the cloud did to him inside. I don't know, maybe the following reasoning sounds logical to you (unlike everything I've been telling you, doesn't it?):

"If all the curiosity that brought me here was produced by the horn and its false light; then, I can affirm that if I tear the horn out of its head everything will return to normal."

Well the saying goes: "Revenge is not good, it kills the soul and poisons it".

That is exactly what happened.

His soul must have been dead to do such a thing with obvious consequences that were more than just negative. "One's right ends when another's right begins", is not something to be taken lightly and I will show you why after this paragraph of narration:

Remember the white door where our spy cat had fallen?

Well, it either disappeared or became invisible and, instead of that, sharp nails appeared on its paws. These were the ones that were able to split the horn of the sleeping unicorn in a couple of slashes in its right (there should be another word but I can't think of what) measure.

To think that the unicorn dreamed of seeing the world differently, of the world being both dynamic and magical. That's the kind of ideal you should call impossible, see your luck?

When the spy unicorn noticed that his horn had vanished, he may not have known who did it, but the false light did. Such light reaches remote places, so reaching the spy cat would be no problem. Besides, that light was not born from the horn but from the scales on his skin, which hid a deformed mass of false light, who would love to be able to get a shape and silhouette of a cat is not bad at all. Even if we consider that cats were not exactly as we are now; but I do not want to complicate you more than I have already done.

I'm aware that you may think I'm giving you filler but nothing could be further from the truth. I'm just trying to make myself understood because I have to deal with a couple of lovers and a dog smell that is just resting.... DOG THAT DOESN'T BARK DOES BITE.

Back to the story:

The spy unicorn sent the misshapen mass of fake light to hunt the spy cat. He only had to open his mouth for the cat's nightmare to come true: goodbye fantasy.

That false light was of a luminous white color; with which, after capturing the cat, it entered the cat's interior and merged with the cloud that had previously blessed its soul. He would have felt betrayed, if he could come to himself again.

The white of the false light and the blue of the eternal night of the cat world of those times, combined, mingled like two lovers without shame and without any feeling other than the presentiment that they were fated to meet.

Who knows how much truth and falsehood there is in these letters?

Who knows if the fruit of the fusion of the incandescent blue and the white luminosity of the false light, shows us what is real or what we desire?

You call that fruit water and I call it aguaj... uaj... uaj.

Of course, water is indispensable for all beings existing in this dimension of planet Earth. What happens is that water is the product of the end of fantasy and that brings bad memories, not only to my species, but to almost all species (if not all) of animals on this planet.

Water came with you; but we don't know where in the story or the process it took for your species to be born. Maybe that's why people who walk down the street, horrified by all the chaos around them, like "loonies" (I don't agree with that term) and live in another world, a wonderful world, without harming anyone, with the power of their mind... they cling to the past.

But back to what concerns us:

How cold am I not?

As long as I'm not colder or excessively hot like Lucifer, I have no problem.

I have no idea how Adam was formed but I can tell you what he has to do with this story.

After the cat was caught by the white deformed light, he was never heard from again. All I am telling you is the reconstruction of the events by the pupils of his school, after putting into practice the teachings of the spy cat who must now be beyond what any of his descendants could aspire to.

Anyway, following the thread of the story, instead of the white and deformed light returning to the jaws of the spy unicorn, the wind does its job: "to distribute the novelties of the universe to planet Earth". By this I mean that the wind is a kind of "ash distributor", the fragments that it can detach from a stone fall on the earth and the earth does what it sees fit. Sometimes I think that this world is made of pure recycling and that also applies to humans?

We, the animals, define them as, I hope I don't hurt your ego or your sensitivities, "Waste of Magic". This denomination is due to the fact that, after the fight between the wind and the deformed light, in the end the wind took them both away towards something that many define as "Eternity and a day".

The most interesting thing about all this is that, according to the disciples of the spy cat, from that enigmatic process that the wind carried out with the white light that contained our poor spy cat, the species that would change the world forever was born: the human species.

What's that nickname of Waste of Magic got to do with it?

Remember that what the horns of the unicorns projected was a false light, a fictitious reality, you call that light magic. Your species was born product of a process where the wind tried to separate the magic from the cat but could not. The wind could only wear it down a little and thus emerged a being never seen before, who walked the earth and seemed to feel good about it, "man".

Some wise men of my time said that this action of the wind was unusual and that it was most likely that the unicorn had made some trick to manipulate the wind. Unicorns and wind have been one so many times that it would not surprise any animal if this were true... for me it is true and for this story too.

The proof that these claims are true is just the apple on Adam's neck.

There is a hypothesis about it:

Behind all these disputes and all the probable facts, there is the one they harmed the most, the one from whom the spy unicorn snatched a fine line of white dust. Yes, I am talking about that tree that the cats could never see, literally under their noses. It can be asserted, it is certainly understandable, that the universe was in his favor and, before the wind spread magic around the world, rather than let the unicorn and the cat be in dispute, he preferred that peace prevail and, for that reason, he came to an unknown agreement with the wind. He let the tree take the whitelighter and the cat together to where the tree stood in "Eternity and a day".

The tree buried them together under its trunk or; I mean, inside the earth so that the gift of the wind would unite with it. That tree had always wanted the cats to see it, but that always proved impossible. This was the opportunity to communicate with them; by means of the water, which had emerged from the fusion of the blue light that illuminated the cats' sky and the white light that showed the unicorns a fantastic and beautiful reality.

Curiosity killed the cat, revenge poisoned his soul and buried him underground.

How much truth can there be in such ancient sayings?

The unicorn had nothing to lose; so seeing his horn on the grass, he decided he would throw it and the cat would feel the fury of his grief. If the cat had shown up, he would have told him that if he sent him the firefly it was because he wished to know his world; but, above all, that he and his kind should know theirs. He never did it with any other intention, he only wanted to unite worlds and create something different and better... that was it.

Do you remember The Eye?

The thin white line was imprisoned by The Eye. However, that was not necessary, if they listened to him instead of seeing what they wanted, everything would have been different. The thin line would have shown them so many divine things... that too was already gone.

How much can be lost through selfishness and lack of communication?

When the thin line observed the remnants of magic on the grass, their faith revived. It was not time to think about what could have been but what might be... as when Luz wonders if it could be.....

Could it be that something between Alexis and her could be real and beautiful at the same time?

I know the story is getting long but it is necessary. I assure you when it's over there will be more action because it's coming... i hate spoilers too.

Thanks for reading.
