Chapter 45: Eventful Morning

As I arose from my heavy slumber, I am first aware of the coolness of the air and its vanilla fragrance. The bed in combination of the sheets give a softness as if I were on a fluffy cloud. I half wonder if I am still dreaming as I sit up to take in the shafts of light that burst through the gaps of the silver satin curtains covering the bay windows.

I burrowed myself into the warm, soft sheets. I rubbed the remainders of sleep from my eyes and gazed at the ethereal man sleeping soundly beside me. This sight is something that majority of people would consider beautiful, but I find it strange, hard even, to find something so meaningful in someone so special. He is like the Sun, everyday it rises and sets, but it is always there. Reliable since the beginning of time.

I hovered over his stomach "Wake up King it's time to start the day we have a long day ahead of us, so I need my Mafia King up and ready to start the day with his Queen."
