Chapter - 07

[A/N: - I don't really know how to write romance, especially drama. Expect this chapter to be full of all the cringy, forced and bullshit plot and drama you can come across.

"Busujima Saeko, we need to talk."

After Jin said this, Saeko suddenly felt so tense.

It was her first time seeing him like this. He was always smiling, joking and loves killing any serious atmosphere. Even during their first meeting in the infirmary where he had to kill a living person, he never acted like this.

She had a bad feeling about this.

For her who had lost her will to live, Jin became her everything and the only reason that keeps her alive. If she were to lose him in anyway whether he abandons her or him dying, she would commit jigai instead of living without him.

[A/N: - Jigai: A female suicide ritual. In some texts it was said to be the female version of 'Seppuku' and I am using this one here.]

Although they didn't spend so much time together, Jin has brought her immense happiness. From the moment she met him till this moment he always made her happy. He was the only person that treated her as a normal girl, not the strong heir of the Busujima family.

She loved it when he complimented her when she wore cute looking clothes. It may seem like a small thing, however, for her, who never got to act like a normal girl of her age, it was one of the happiest moments in her life.

She loved the way he looks at her. Unlike the disgusting gazes she normally sees. His tender gaze was something that always put her in a good mood.

She loved it when he always teased her. He always teased and flirted with her like a normal girl and she loved every moment of it.

She loved his touch. The way he held her hand, the fluffy feeling she felt, she loved it.

She yearned for the warmth of his embrace. The way their bodies touched when he hugged her, it made her feel like she wanted to melt in it.

She loved the feeling of their lips touching. Just having a simple kiss sent her mind into euphoria. She felt drunk on it as if she tasted the Ambrosia of the Gods.

She loved the feeling of him patting her head and playing with her hair. It made her worries vanish without a trace, she felt like she was in the safest place in the world and even if the world fell apart, then she would be fine.

He was the person who accepted her regardless of her dark past without even frowning. He never showed any hints of disgusts towards her twisted personality. He was the one who told her to live her life as she wants with no regrets. He was the one that gave her hope and a reason to live.

Just the thought of losing this made her almost go crazy!

"W-W-What's wrong, J-Jin?"

Saeko temporarily set aside her thoughts and hesitantly asked.

"Come with me for a bit."

Just as she was about to ask where, he suddenly grabbed her hand and the scene around them changed to a desert of sorts but red themed.

"W-What?! W-Where are we?" (Saeko)

"Mars." (Jin)

"H-How did we get here?" (Saeko)

"Teleportation." (Jin)

"S-So, what are we doing here?" (Saeko)

"Coming clean." (Jin)

Just as he said this, a blinding light came out of Jin's body as he reverted to his true form.

He also gave Saeko a temporary immunity towards his charm. He wanted to come clean with her, not tempt her by lust after all.

[A/N: - Yeah fuckers! Of course, it's not permanent! Who the hell in his right mind would give his women a fucking permanent immunity towards his own charm?! *cough* Back to the chapter...]

He then faced Saeko and spoke.

"You have told me about your own past, so it seems fair to tell you about myself. Are you familiar with the term 'Akashic Records'?"

"S-Somewhat."

Saeko snapped out of her shock and answered.

"Ok, that makes it much easier."

He took a deep breath and continued.

"First of all, I am not a human, I'm from a race called Primordial. You can consider it as a race of Gods, although I am the only one who is from that race right now. This is also my true form."

"To better understand my strength, I'll need to better tell you where I stand in the food chain.

The reality you live in is called a 'universe'; you can treat it as a small bubble.

This universe has alternate worlds, every 'What if' scenario that could've happened in your world makes a different reality, even something trivial as throwing the paper wrapping of a gum in the trashcan of your room instead of the kitchen's or choosing different flavors for the snacks you eat.

Every one of these alternate and parallel worlds are considered small bubbles.

These group of bubbles are inside a bigger bubble aka a 'multiverse'.

If we name you reality as 'A1' then the 'A1 multiverse' contains infinite number of alternate worlds of the main 'A1' reality.

However, your reality is not the only one out there. There is an infinite number of them out there.

Realities with swords and magic, cultivation realities like the novels in your world, realities where humans went extinct, realities where they ruled over universes and normal realities like what your world would have been if it were not infested with the zombies.

All of these realities got their alternate worlds, so every one of them is also a big bubble with infinite number of small bubbles.

All of these big bubbles, aka multiverse exist inside a huge bubble that contains all of them, that is called the 'omniverse'."

"You may ask yourself 'what is the need to say of all this crap?' instead of outright telling you my strength right away, right?"

Jin asked Saeko with a smile, while she averted her eyes from embarrassment.

"Well, I needed to explain all this for you to understand that…"

"I am the bubble maker."

"I exist outside the concept of strength."

"I can literally burst the whole bubble of the omniverse into nothingness and recreate it again with just a single thought. This is the simplest way for you to understand where I stand in the food chain, Saeko."

Jin ignored the frozen Saeko as he spoke. He has already fortified her mind, so she doesn't faint halfway though.

"Now to get back to the Akashic Records point I asked you about it before. I may be a God of sorts, but even I can get bored, so I never used my 'Omniscience' before, I mean, if I know everything that happened, happens, and will happen, then what should I do with my life except killing myself? I mean who would want to live a life like this? Unless the person in question is an idiot or 100% nuts, then the answer is none. On a side note, I only have about 25 years' worth of memories, so I'm not an old man of sorts. *cough*"

"And so, I made my Omniscience into a library of sorts, just like the Akashic Records. I can go there and read about random worlds. If a world picked my interest then I can visit it, whether to 'see' how the world plays with my own eyes instead of 'browsing' it with my ability or involve myself with it and change it if I want to.

Just like what I did in your reality. By curing the zombies."

Jin finished speaking and waited for Saeko to finish processing what he said.

A few minutes passed and then he heard Saeko letting out a sad hollow chuckle.

"Ha-ha, so that's why you said that you envy me for at least feeling something when killing them. For you, it's like blowing some dust of a shelf, you feel nothing about it."

After saying this she looks at him right in the eyes and spoke softly with a hint of sadness in her voice.

"I don't think you came to have this conversation with me just to tell me your powers, right?"

"Ah well, I'll be leaving your world after curing the zombies…" (Jin)

"I-I s-see…"

Hearing him say this, Saeko responded weakly with tears streaming from her eyes. However, she froze the next moment when she heard him speak and felt his hand wiping away her tears.

"So mmm, do you want to come with me?"

"Huh?"

"I mean, I don't think I can do without my cute and lovely badass samurai, don't you think so?"

He told her with a smile. Saeko without even thinking jumped into his arms and kissed him.

[Insert some lewd kissing sfx]

After a couple of minutes later, their lips separated, leaving a bridge of saliva between them.

"So, I take that as a yes?"

He asked with a smile.

"Un. Unless you kill me there is no way I'm leaving you. That I swear it upon my soul!"

Saeko said with convection while looking at him straight in the eyes.

"Saeko, I love you."

"Me too."

Their faces got closer as their lips touched.

[A/N: - Those who didn't die from the cringe here got my respect.]

____/Scene change\____

Saeko and Jin finished kissing and were currently having a look around Mars. Saeko then spoke.

"I don't really know if you picked this place randomly on purpose, but if you really did it on purpose, then your romantic sense really sucks… I mean, who takes a girl to a place surrounded with red rocks and sand to have this kind of conversation?"

"U-Uhh..." (Jin)

"But for real, in the future if you plan on taking a girl on Mars to confess then I advise you not to, it's not really a smart idea." (Saeko)

Jin who heard her last sentence froze in his place.

"S-Saeko-san?" (Jin)

Seeing him like this, Saeko chuckled.

"Pffffft, What? Are you surprised? Well, although I may not really like the idea of sharing, but I am not really arrogant enough to think that I can keep the God of Gods all to myself. However, I hope you don't really go around poking your thing in every hole you see like a certain Greek God…"

She spoke with a sincere smile and her words didn't contain any lies.

"Moreover, I can't really comprehend the concept of someone having infinite lifespan, but I know that it must be lonely right? Having more people around will be a better choice."

She spoke the first part while looking sadly at him, but she let out a small smile at the last part.

Saeko, seeing that he was looking at her with a guilty look chuckled and spoke.

"Pffffft, what's with that look? I am the one who chose this, I can only blame myself for choosing my idiotic lord, right?"

She spoke with a teasing smile.

Hearing her, Jin was almost moved to tears. She was his first love, and now she was permitting him to have relationships with other girls because she knows that he is immortal. He got closer and hugged her tightly.

"Saeko, I love you, thank you."

"Why are you even thanking me?"

She answered with a smile.

Seeing her smile, Jin looked straight into her eyes and asked seriously.

"Busujima Saeko, will you please accompany me for eternity?"

Saeko who heard him felt tears swell in her eyes and spoke.

"As the sword of my lord, how can I refuse such a request? Please, let me be with you for eternity."

After she said this, she felt a tug on her soul as both of their souls were connected to each other, and a beautiful ring suddenly materialized on her ring finger. The ring was a beautiful black ring that has a gem shaped as a beautiful purple rose on the top of it.

Saeko kept crying while looking at the ring on her finger.

Jin kept looking at her with a warm smile and spoke.

"However, I need to correct something in that statement of yours, I am here asking my Saeko-chan to accompany me. The badass samurai can come with us as a bonus."

"U-Un…"

Saeko who heard him blushed madly and nodded meekly like an obedient housewife.

"Should we go back, or you want to have a tour on Mars?" (Jin)

"I think we should head back. Shizuka-san might get worried if she doesn't find us after all." (Saeko)

"Ok." (Jin)

After he said that, he reverted to his 'normal' appearance and opened a portal.

Just before they entered the portal Saeko asked.

"By the way, are you a virgin?"

Jin who heard her question froze, but then a lewd mischievous smile appeared on his face.

He went near her ear and whispered.

"Would you like to find out tonight~?"

"Ahhn~"

He said that and bit her ear lightly. Saeko moaned from pleasure and felt her breath getting heavier.

Just as she was about to speak, Jin princess carried her toward the portal while speaking.

"Well then Milady, let's go!"

[A/N: - AAAAAAAAAAAAAND CUT!!!! Fuck! Fuck writing romance! I felt my brain cells committing suicide writing this chapter.

I don't think… No, I sure as hell am not going to do this again! When I add more girls, I will give some development, but I won't make it like Saeko, if you expect more like this, no promises…

The harem acceptance part may feel forced, but meh deal with it. I warned at the beginning that there will be cliché and forced bullshit. However, I think I did rationalize it pretty well to not feel forced considering that the answer really suits Saeko's character.]

Next chapter will be the Epilogue and will mark the end of the first arc of this book, hope you enjoyed.
