Chapter 30 - Gotcha!

(MC's POV)

"System, Can you help me navigate through the void?" I was hoping the system isn't just all about gacha and upgrading the bunker.

[ Negative host, the void is beyond the influence of my powers. I can not help you but your buddy on top of your head might be able to. ]

"Huh? Amaterasu? Can you help me little guy?" I lifted Amaterasu in front of me. The little guy just gurgle and jump out of my hand and began to crawl faster than sonic can run at a certain direction.

"Holy shit, WAIT FOR ME!" I yelled as I try my hardest to keep up with Amaterasu, I never knew it had super speed, those bastards in the foundation lied to me.

Sans and the humanoid entity are currently at a stalemate. The two monsters kept throwing bones, beams, lasers, and slimy tentacles towards each other but it seems like Sans is still at a disadvantage.

"Shit, I can't let the smiley trashbag kill that fucker. Well, he probably won't since it's his father but I can't just sit still and idly, I have to find a way to make an opening..." An idea came to Chara's mind. "I don't know if this works but... I won't know if I don't try."

Chara held two of her hands in front of her, a yellow light slowly emerged from the palms of her hands. After a short while, 2 Stars were created, 1 Green Star and 1 Yellow Star. "Heh.. Great, just what I needed."

"I suggest you give up the futile struggle son and let me finish my job, we can be a happy family again once everything's done." The humanoid entity tried to convince Sans.

"There's no family if the other soul inside of her dies pops! She's family too!" Sans said as he struggles standing up due to the high pressure of gravity hold him back.

"Ah... The other human? Frisk was it? As much as I wish to keep her alive but seeing as they are 2 halves of a whole, if one of them dies then there's no saving the other one." The humanoid entity said.

"THEN JUST DON'T KILL HER POPS! SIMPLE!" Sans beckoned as he is unable to move anymore due to the intensity of the gravity.

"That cannot be done son, she is a lingering threat, who knows when she might decide to harm you or me or the other human friends at your home in that messed up world? As long as she exists everything will repeat over, and over, and over, and over again. There's only one answer, to extinguish her soul.." the humanoid told Sans.

"Well then, It seems that we couldn't come into an agreement pops..." Sans' eyes lit up with that same neon light.

Sans slowly stood up and maintained his stability before holding up his left hand and said, "Have I mentioned that.." Sans' bones slowly turned black as chunks of his bones became pixelated and seem to be moving at inconsistent places. His eyes becoming blue and his clothes' color hue became black, red and blue. "I'm the same as the human."

Strings came out from the ground as it held back the humanoid entity. Sans flicked his fingers and time ceased to exist around the humanoid entity. "One without the other huh? Mine's a little different, because they slowly became a part of me as I died."

Sans made a slashing gesture with his right hand that took a chunk of the entity's body. "I assume you know what I mean when I say "They" right?"

The humanoid entity that seem to have been frozen in time has broken through the time lock of Sans, "You've grown so much Son, I'm proud of you, but.." The humanoid entity managed to cut the strings away and heal his sliced body in a matter of seconds. "It's not enough."

"I know you wouldn't go down easily, and I never intended to take you down by myself." Sans smirked as a giant paintbrush appeared from his left hand. "I intend to buy some time for that kid to get here."

"What do you mean by that?" The humanoid entity asked.

"You don't need to know that, you just need to know that you're going to have a bad time." Sans pulled off a massive stroke using his red Ink, but the humanoid entity dodged it.

"Too slow." the humanoid entity commented.

"Wrong guess, pops. I never intended to hit you.." Sans shrugged at his father's comment.

"What do you me-" the humanoid entity immediately looked behind him just to see and large swirling oval shaped portal behind him. The humanoid entity realized that he made a lapse in his judgement however, it's too late to correct it.

"Peek-a-boo sack of shit!" Chara revealed a maddening smile and slashed off the humanoid entity's left arm. "How'd you like my grand entrance, maestro?"

"A ONE OUT OF TEN!" Sans yelled out.

"SHUT UP TRAHSBAG! IM NOT TALKING TO YOU!" Chara said in a pissed off tone.

"Don't think you'd be able to stop me just because you cut off my left arm!" the humanoid entity became enraged.

"Losing your cool are you?" Chara smirked. "Pathetic!"

"I'll make you eat your words human!" a large dragon skull appeared above the humanoid entity but was immediately taken out by Sans' beam.

"I'm afraid you can't do that pops." Sans said.

"Then how about this!" Spikes protruted from the ground as it pierced Chara through her chest.

"KID!" Sans yelled out seeing as Chara was penetrated by a large spike.

"You were getting awfully smug when you landed a hit didn't you? Eat shit kid!" the humanoid entity mocked.

Chara's bloodied mouth formed the same crazy smile, "Because I have the right to!" a bright green light shined from Chara's chest.

"What is this, determination?! I thought I already took it out earlier?!" the humanoid was surprised from the sudden turn of events.

The humanoid entity sensed danger coming from above but he only saw the yellow star above which is Chara's "Determination"

"Wrong! It's called Perseverance!" the sound came behind him but he was a second too late. "Gotcha!" the humanoid entity's head flew off from the body.
