Nothing (Poem)

Confidence

We think we have it

Assurance

The relief we believed was there

Don't think, don't believe, don't be satisfied

We know nothing

Birth, growth, awareness

Sin, accountable, and unfairness

What's done is done

We cannot deny it

Whether right or wrong has its consequences

Each day is a blessing

Each moment is so precious

And the time we have promotes opportunity

Because we truly know nothing

Stupidity?

No.

Though ignorance cannot be bliss

What we don't know hurts us later

But once we know we can't say no

Because now we have been taught

God is our perfect teacher

God is our perfect leader

So sit, young follower

Straight and taller

And accept that you know nothing
