Chapter 14

(Flashback/dream)

"It's all your fault "said my drunk mother slapping me.

She has been hitting me frequently maybe it is my fault. A 8 year old me thought.

"I'm sorry mom "I said crying.

"Don't call me mom . I'm not your mom. If you would have not been born I would be living with my boys in a better place." She said shoving me.

My head hit the wall and I lost consciousness.

(Flashback/dream end)

I opened my eyes . Nightmare. Or you can say a memory . My past.

These memories are never going to let me live peacefully.

I saw the time . It was 4 am. I had four hours before going to school. Ugh! I hate school.

As I had enough time I went to explore the house.

The first room that I entered turned out to be a gym. Lucky me!

My room was not far from gym so I went back and changed.

After changing I saw that the gym was well equipped. It had everything that I wanted. I climbed on trademill and set the speed. I wore my headphones and blasted metallic music.

I don't know how much time I was on it .

I was lost in my own world .

I was brought back from a loud band of the door. I looked back to see it was Rodrigo. I looked at the time it was 6am.

I stopped the machine and went towards the door .

The machine was in the darker side of the room and I had the lights off. When I came in the lights he looked surprised. He wished me good morning to which I nodded.

I passed him and went to my room.

**Rodrigo's POV**

I woke up. My mind was still full of the things that happened last night.

I don't want to think about it. So I thought of going to the gym.

I got up took did my morning routine and went to the gym.

When I reached there the door was already open.

I didn't mind and went inside.

The lights were off.

Suddenly I saw a figure in the dark . I was ready to fight but then that figure came in light and it turned out be Beatrice.

What was she doing here. Even if she's here why are the lights off?.

I wished her good morning to which she just nodded and passed by me.

I switched on the lights and went towards the trademill .

The machine was not stopped but only paused.

I resumed it to see what she was doing.

The speed was 8.6 while the time was 2:10:05.

Wow just WOW!.

Even I don't run at this speed. I checked her progress to see if she reduced her speed in between but there was no data such. Her progress showed that she was basically running at such high speed for 2 hrs.

I tried not to think about about it and tried to do my workout. Tried.

But couldn't. The incident of last night was already out of my mind and what I just saw kept going in my mind. I stopped and went back to my room.

**Beatrice's POV**

I came back to my room and took a long shower as I had a lot of time.

After shower I did my skin routine and changed. I wore a black V necked top with black jeans and black boots. What can I say I just love black.

I let my hair or rather my wig loose as it was more comfortable.

As I had nothing to do I opened my laptop and started watching a thriller movie.

As I reached the climax of the movie I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in "I replied.

Hayden and Blake entered.

I knew that Blake was coming but what was Hayden doing here? I thought.

They both wished me good morning .

I asked Hayden what he was doing here to which he replied that he wanted to see me.

After few minutes I asked them

"Can I ask you guys a favor.?"

"Sure" they replied.

"Please don't tell them my real identity." I said

"Ok" replied Hayden. Blake wanted to ask further but Hayden stopped him for which I was grateful.

We all went to have breakfast.

All of the Regio's were present.

"Good morning Beatrice" said Leonardo

"Good morning Mr Regio" I replied.

One of the maid came to me and asked me

"What would you like to eat for breakfast miss?"

I kindly refused her saying that I don't usually eat breakfast. After what Ercole did I don't think I'll be ever having breakfast here.

I filled a glass of juice for myself and started scrolling through my phone.

After all of them had finished their breakfast Dom called me .

I went and he asked me to sit.

"We need to discuss some school rules" he said. I nodded.

He sighed clearly annoyed that I have been breaking the very first rule .

"First no boys. "He said.

I gave him a look.

"Ok no boyfriends how about that?" He negotiated.

"Agreed" I replied.

"I want your grades up."

"Agreed."

"No complains from the school."

"Agreed."

"If you are going anywhere or going to be late inform one of us ."

"Agreed."

He looked shocked that I actually agreed to all of his rules.

"Anything else? "I asked.

"That's all. " He said and started talking to Leonardo .

"Guys you need to go or you all will be late. "said Ed.

I went to my room and put my laptop in my bag .

I went down and started walking towards the door.

"Where are you going.?" Asked Ed.

"School "I said in a duh tone.

He rolled his eyes.

"Aren't you going to ask with whom are you going?" He asked .

"No "I replied and went out.

I saw Blake and haydens car and stood beside it.

After some time they both came out and smiled at me.

I sat at the back seat while they sat in front.

The drive to the school was silent .

As we reached the school Hayden went to his job.

I told him that if his boss ever gave him a hard time just threaten him.

He smiled and waved us bye.
