"I won't return today. I'll spend the night here and discuss matters with the Five Elements Clan tomorrow," Adams declared. He had contemplated this during their journey and had made the necessary arrangements.
Surveying their surroundings, he determined it was a suitable place for temporary rest. There were no immediate threats from wild beasts, and they should be able to forage for wild fruits to satisfy their hunger. The meat they had brought was still in their possession, which could serve as a backup if needed.
Returning home and then coming back the next day seemed both exhausting and unproductive.
