"Legendary Beast Spirit" 

There were so many such plants here, from the grass to trees, from flowers to vines...

These plants all glowed in a strange light, as if they were ghosts. 

This state indicated that the spirit of these plants were resting inside their plant bodies and once they woke up, they could separate from their bodies and float around in the form of spirits. 

Of course, their form would only be that of plants, but famous trees such as the world tree and other plants in legends could even cultivate a humanoid form when they were in spirit mode. 

Ainsley never knew about any of this, so she even wondered whether these plants could become humans, just like in cultivation novels.
