Kage coming from a small device on the side seat of his car. The Photostatic Veil, a delicate mesh of nano-sized holographic cells, lay next to it. He picked it up, feeling the weightless material between his fingers.
He opened the special case containing the DNA and voice sample of his target, a high-ranking official he needed to impersonate. The device hummed softly as it scanned the samples, calibrating the veil to the precise specifications needed.
Taking a deep breath, Kage carefully adhered the veil to his face. It felt cool against his skin, but almost instantly, the nanocells activated, projecting the texture, pigmentation, and contour lines of the official's face. He watched in a nearby mirror as his features transformed, his eyes changing color, and even subtle structural aspects of his face shifting to match the target.
He cleared his throat, testing the voice modifier. "Testing, one, two, three," he said. The words emerged in the exact tone and cadence of the official, every inflection and nuance perfectly mimicked.
Kage then takes his Stark phone screen glows, tracking Elvis' handheld as it moves through the winding streets of Bregenz. The rain streaks down the car windows, distorting the city lights into a blur.
The grand entrance of the Bregenz Opera House is alive with excitement. Elegant patrons in evening attire stream through the doors. Greene's sleek black car pulls up, and he and Elvis step out, blending into the throng.
In the front of the Opera house,Greene and Elvis slowly gets out of the car and weave through the bustling crowd, moving with purpose but appearing nonchalant.
While in the back of the Opera House,Kage slips into the shadows of the delivery yard, his footsteps silent on the wet pavement. He approaches the artists' entrance, his eyes scanning for any sign of trouble, and slips inside.
Inside the bar is a buzz of conversation and laughter. Greene and Elvis navigate through clusters of elegantly dressed guests, exchanging greetings and pleasantries.
INT. MALE STAFF DRESSING ROOM – NIGHT
A frantic cast member rummages through costumes. The camera pans to Kage, who steps out from behind a curtain, now impeccably dressed in a freshly pressed tuxedo.
INT. BREGENZ OPERA HOUSE – NIGHT – BAR
Elvis approaches a bald man engaged in conversation with Greene."Good to meet you. Good."
Elvis discreetly shows Greene two gift bags with distinctive purple fabric handles.
Kage watches from a hidden vantage point. His eyes track the movement below, focusing on the table covered with gift bags. A young woman hands a man a bag with purple fabric handles, different from the black-handled ones the others are receiving.
The crowd begins to move toward the auditorium. Announcer speaking German,"Meine Damen und Herren, die heutige Aufführung von Tosca beginnt in Kürze. Bitte nehmen Sie Platz." he then translated it to English,"Ladies and gentlemen, tonight's performance of Tosca will begin shortly, please take your seats."
Inside Opera House Kage shadows the man with the unique gift bag, following him into an accessible restroom.
Inside the auditorium,Greene and Elvis make their way to an opulent executive suite that overlooks the audience. The opulence of the suite contrasts with the eager anticipation on their faces.
While in a dimly lit restroom, Kage empties the contents of the gift bag into a sink, revealing a badge in the shape of the letter Q and a miniature receiver earpiece. He places the earpiece into his ear, his eyes narrowing in focus.
Kage slowly takes out and wears a gorgeous pair of aviator square shades with black lenses and black frames."Activating Arthur."
The HUD activates on the glasses, and an AI voice responds.AI ARTHUR,"Sir, I am on standby until you command."
Kage exits the restroom, leaving the unconscious man slumped on a toilet seat. He breaks the door handle, ensuring no one else can enter. The sound of the handle snapping echoes ominously.
While Greene and Elvis settle into their executive seats. Greene discreetly inserts a miniature receiver earpiece, anticipation flickering in his eyes as the house lights dim.
The performance of Tosca begins, the haunting music filling the auditorium. The audience is enraptured, but Greene's attention is divided, his focus on the covert conversation happening in his ear.
Kage navigates the labyrinthine backstage, moving with purpose. He ascends a narrow staircase, reaching the top of the stage where he can survey the audience below. The earpiece crackles to life in his ear. Voice 1 spoke up,"Any updates from Canadian intelligence?"
Voice 2 then added,"We'll discuss that later."
Suddenly, a voice comes through clearly.Voice 3,"How much more pipeline do we need?"
In the Auditorium Greene, sitting with a poised demeanor, responds to the conversation."Ideally, 2,000 kilometers. Any objections?"
In Backstage Kage listens intently as responses filter through and scanning through the crowd, as Voice 4 spoke up,"No."
Voice 5 added,"Not here."
Voice 6 added,"No objections."
In the Auditorium Greene, a satisfied look on his face, issues the final command."Transfer the funds from our Siberian holdings."
Backstage Kage hears the confirmation from
Voice 7,"Done."
Kage's eyes narrow as he surveys the auditorium, his mission clear. The orchestra swells.
Female Quatum members voice,"Where do the Americans stand?"
Greene answers,"Well, the CIA doesn't care about another dictator as long as they get their end."
Male Quantum member was doubtful questioned,"But, when they find out they've been duped."
A smart Englishman, Guy Haines, special envoy to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom sits among the audience."I'm working on that."
Kage sees someone coming up the backstage stairs and he hears another voice through his miniature receiver earpiece." I'm still not sure that the Tierra Project is the best use of Quantum's time. Perhaps we should shift our focus to the Canadian."
The footsteps on the stairs are getting louder, while through his earpiece Kage hears Greene again."This is the world's most precious resource. We need to control as much of it as we can. Bolivia must be top priority."
Kage decided it was time to spook them amd spoke to the earpiece,"I really think you people should find a better place to meet."
Kage's intervention unnerves Quantum members who start to leave.
Kage's intervention unnerves the Quantum members, who begin to discreetly leave.
Kage smiled and said to himself,"Where do you think you're going?"
Then he activates the A.I. system in his glasses, taking photos of the departing members. Small windows on his glasses display detailed information about each individual.
The HUD on Kage's glasses displays various pieces of information and scans, including:
On the left side of the HUD, a detailed Face scan labeled "942 Face Scan" includes intricate details with a zoomed-in section highlighting specific features.
In the center, a reconstruction image of a person's face likely part of a facial recognition or reconstruction process, shows the person's features in detail.
On the right side, a radial graph or radar-like display labeled "RECONSTRUCTION 45E" represents spatial data or tracking information.
The HUD includes various interface elements, data points, labels, numbers, and graphical elements, indicating a sophisticated system capable of processing and displaying multiple streams of data simultaneously.
Suddenly, Kage notices someone approaching the top of the backstage stairs. He finishes taking the photos just in time, preparing for the potential encounter and said,"Thank you."
Kage looks down the backstage stairwell and jumps, landing on the upcoming man. They grapple and Kage knocks the man out, unconscious, and continues rapidly down the stairs.
