Chapter 202: Long Live the Stormking

But he was angry and frustrated because he was afraid of what could happen to her if he was not around anymore. In this world, nothing was impossible. Even after everything he did to guarantee that he would live a long life and become the most powerful man, Edward knew that he would die in the end. Not only that, but Edward felt that something was going to happen to him in the next few years that would destroy him.

Edward did not know what it was, but he could guess that something really horrible would happen to him in the end. After having these feelings, Edward did not want Jasmine to continue on this path since he only saw that she would suffer if anything happened to him.

Edward intended to have a long talk with the girl after this since he could not stand seeing her like that. He wished that she could independent like her siblings and had a dream of her own. That dream would make her want to live till the end to make sure that it would come true.

Look at his other children. Although Edward underestimated them much, he knew well enough that every one of them had a dream.

Yeah, he did not know the dreams of each child; but Edward was sure that he knew Wilyam's and Axel's at least.

Well, it was not Edward's fault since his other children were crafty enough to hide what they wanted truly well enough to stop him from knowing.

Look for Raymont, for example. If Edward had been the cruel and conquerer emperor, Raymont's dream would be to take his father's title and overshadow him with his own efforts. Raymont did not just want to stop at the boundaries of the Red Waste and Bone mountains. Raymont wanted to have a say in the far east and control the cities that held the entries to the west Essos.

Not only that, Raymont wanted to venture into Sothoryos, especially after hearing what happened to the expedition that went there. He was sure that Sothoryos would be a good addition to his empire. Yeah, Raymont knew those risks, but he was confident that he could overcome them and find good resources there.

As for the other two twins, Lyonel and Orys, they were mysterious enough that no one knew what they wanted. They seemed to be on good terms with Raymont and Axel, but the author could tell you that these two were not simple. And don't expect them to be on good terms with others since they considered each other as rivals.

As for Theresa, she did not build her dream yet since she did not reach that point yet as she only thought of becoming stronger for the moment. The power was in her father's hands. That was why she did not consider it as something important, but you can imagine when a bitch needed enough strength, what would happen. But no one would know what would happen in the future.

Raymont and Edward thought that everything was under their control all this time. They did not know that Raymont's ruling period would be the most chaotic one in history, but Raymont, the Brilliant and schemer, would manage to solve them in the end.

Anyway, Edward moved on his way to find his daughter. He had to depend on the dragons since they were the only ones that could determine her location. Edward wondered how this idiotic girl managed to cut all this distance in another direction.

Yeah, he knew that she could not see in this situation, but you could not just move anywhere like that. If Edward did not have the dragons, Jasmine would have died for sure. Edward could only shake his head after hearing that she was nearby from the dragons.

In the end, Edward found her before she fell and carried her like a princess. He could sense that her body relaxed, and she fainted after he did that. Edward did not know if he should scold her or what for her behavior right at the moment.

"You are just an idiot. When will you grow up?" Said Edward as he looked at the young girl in his hands. He finally started to see a little around him since the fire continued to die out a little by little.

When he saw her naked body, Edward almost fainted since he did not realize that he was naked as well. How the hell was he going to go out like that? Edward was the emperor, after all, and was worried about his dignity. Even if he considered that it was ok, how the hell could he allow his daughter's naked body to get seen by everyone outside.

But could he find a cloth in this fire?? Of course not, and he would have to go without any. Edward could only use his hands to cover the girl's private parts as he moved to the outside.

It did not take him long before seeing the outside. When he stepped out, he could see everyone looking at him and the two dragons on his shoulders. It seemed that they were in a panic because Jasmine and Raymont ordered the men to surround the fire and search for any trace of her.

When Edward's family and his men saw this scene, everyone got to their knees, kneeling in front of their king. You can imagine the excitement and the fear that everyone went through when they saw a man coming out of such a fire unscathed without any kind of burn on his body.

Not only that, but there were two small dragons on his shoulder making some screaming noises as if they were ordering everyone to keep kneeling in front of them and their father.

"Long live the Stormking, Long live the Stormking." Said everyone in a voice that broke through the sky, and people from miles away could hear the excitement in their voice.

Even the rest of Edward's family did the same. They could not believe that their father was still ok after staying in the fire for three days and come up with two fucking dragons like that.

Raymont's eyes were on Jasmine, though. He could believe that his father could do that since his father surprised everyone many times already, and although what happened was shocking enough to scare the shit out of any man, Raymont could still go with what happened.

But Jasmine was his youngest sister, and he saw her grow up with his own eyes, so how could she come out unburnt as well?? Could his father have done something to make Jasmine like that?
