Chapter 82: Finalizing the deal with Tywin

The moment she saw him unhorse the prince, Rhaegar, was her favorite. Ashara always liked the strong and influential men. And what she saw made her sure that she chose the right person for her.

Call her shallow or anything, but that was Ashara, and this was her personality. She wanted a strong man with a huge cock as her husband.

After this proposal, Edward left the field back to the waiting area. After taking off his armor, he went to meet his family. No one was in the waiting hall as Rhaegar retreated to his tent. Rhaegar's men took him to his tent after Edward asked a guard to call maester Jones for him.

Everyone was congratulating him and giving him praises all the way to his family's booth. He decided to retreat with his family back to the castle. They had a lot to prepare for the wedding the following day.

But before he left the tents' area, Tywin fucking Lannister stopped him with three of his men. It seemed he had thought long enough about Edward's proposal, and at the moment, he was her to give him his reply and discuss their plan.

Seeing this scene, everyone had a question mark above their heads. What was up with Tywin? Why would he stop them? He surely did not want to make trouble. He was in their home, after all.

"Did he come here for you, Edward?" Said Stannis, who was sharp as always. He would not miss such a small detail. He knew that Edward wanted to find allies in this tournament to achieve his goal.

Everyone around Edward was surprised after hearing Stannis's words. What was so important that Tywin came to find Edward for, personally? Edward did not tell anyone about his meeting with Tywin the other day, as he thought they did not need to know everything. So except for Edward's men, no one knew what they talked about the other day. Maybe the prince knew something, but he would not ever think that those two could work together. They were at each other throats for years, so how could they work together?

Edward nodded to Stannis, and his mother then turned to Ashara and gave a sorry look.

Ashara was still excited after all the events that happened this day, so she did not mind. She would prepare everything herself if she had to.

"Sorry, Ash. I have something that I need to deal with." Said Edward as he looked at Ashara's eyes.

"Worry not, my love. Go and finish your business. I will wait for you in the castle." Said Ashara with a smile.

Edward nodded his head to Stannis to take their mother and Ashara back to the castle.

Seeing this, Stannis could only nod. He wanted to witness Edward's talk with Tywin. He thought it would be important, but since Edward told him to take the two back, he would do it.

"This way, Lord Tywin." Said Edward, who was followed by four of his men.

He took Tywin to a hall in the castle and ordered everyone to wait outside.

"There is only the two of us here, Lord Tywin. Have you thought about my offer?" Asked Edward, but he knew that Tywin would never say no to such an attractive deal.

"You sure know how to play with your words. As for your offer, I would take it. What is your plan?" Asked Tywin with annoyance. He was a little angry that he got led around by this brat.

Edward knew how to use Tywin's hate for the Targaryen to his favor. He smirked when he saw Tywin looking at him like that.

"Easy there. Do not be hard on yourself." Said Edward trying to provoke Tywin a little but seeing the look on Tywin's face made him decide to delay the joke.

"I will tell you two secrets, now. The others would have to wait for now. When I find that the time is right, I will tell you myself." Said Edward as he was looking at Tywin. He was not going to tell Tywin everything. Plus, Tywin might use the other secrets to annul Rhaegar's marriage to Elia, and Edward did not want to see that as Tywin would use this chance to push his daughter again to Rhaegar even if he hated the Targaryen. He would even sell Edward's secret off and try to use the Targaryen against him.

Tywin was very crafty, and Edward did not wish to really deal with him. But since they needed each other help, Edward would work with Tywin but with caution.

The secret that he would never tell Tywin unless Rhaegar married Elia was Rhaegar's looks towards Lyanna.

"Say it." Said Tywin as he was really annoyed at the moment. Edward's words meant that he did not trust him.

Was Tywin surprised or something? Was there any sane man who would trust a Lannister?

"I heard a little secret about Rhaegar's companion, Jon. It seemed that he is in love with the prince. It would not make much ruckus, but a little tension between Rhaegar and his companions would do. But a little exaggeration here and there, like the prince having a love relationship with his companion, would hurt his reputation. I planned to do that after Rhaegar's marriage. What do you think?" Said Edward with a smile. He knew that this rumor could get used in many different ways.

Tywin thought for a moment before shaking his head. This rumor was not worth that much in his eyes as no many people would believe it due to the prince's reputation.

"It is not enough. If this is all you have, then I have overestimated your abilities." Said Tywin with some kind of disappointment.

"Do not act like that, Tywin. At the right time, this rumor could be worth gold. It all depends on the timing." Said Edward as he was annoyed by Tywin's words as well. He wanted to hit two birds with one stone using this rumor. He had to separate Rhaegar and Jon and hurt their reputation in the process.

Maybe Tywin knew that it was more useful to Edward than him. That was why he was acting like a cunt at the moment.

"Tell me the second piece. I do not have much time for your nonsense." Said Tywin as he was getting impatient.

"No, no. That won't do since This one is worth a lot. You will have to pay for it." Said Edward with a smile. No one would know this secret except for him at this moment. And what he saw in the tournament, he was sure that it would be moved forward as well.

Tywin looked at Edward's face to see if he was serious about asking for a favor. Was Edward really an idiot? Did he think that Tywin would pay him for something that might turn into nothing?

"What if it is not worth it? Plus, we make a deal here that we would work together?" Said Tywin trying to prop Edward. He wanted to hear what Edward had without paying anything.

But would that be possible? Edward would not let it go, especially with such a secret.

"This one would be more useful for you than me, so choose now, or you will miss your chance." Said Edward with a smile. He wanted to extort Tywin of his fortune.

"How much?" Said the efficient as always, Tywin. The Lannister would always pay their debts, and he would have to pay Edward back if he made a deal here.

"A million gold dragons." Said, Edward shocking Tywin at once.

'What the hell? I know that brat is playing with me here. I should have never accepted to work with him.' Thought Tywin to himself as he was getting ready to stand up and leave.

"I would not want to miss this piece of news if I were you. It will be of little help if you want to amend your relationship with the king." Said Edward with a smile. He was sure that Tywin would sit back after hearing this.

But Tywin never stopped for even a little. Why would he want to amend his relationship with that bastard, Aerys? He would like to kill him, not to help him.

Edward was surprised a little. He had thought that with Tywin's shamelessness, he would try to get along with the king to get some benefits. Was Tywin letting his emotions take over him here?

"Wait, Tywin. Sit back and listen. I will let you set the price." Said Edward when he thought that he would not get anything from Tywin if he left.

Tywin stopped and returned to his seat, and Edward could swear that he saw that devil smile a little. It seemed that he got tricked by the old fox.

"Say it." Said Tywin with a calm voice.

"Fine. Rhaegar is planning to hold a tourney with Lord Whent's help. He intended to gather all the lords of Westeros to discuss his succession to the throne. He wanted Aerys to abdicate his throne. You knew how valuable this is." Said Edward with a smile.

Edward was sure after what happened between Rhaegar and Lyanna in this tourney, Rhaegar would haste his plan. He would want to hold the tourney earlier than the books.

After hearing Edward's words, Tywin was shocked as this was not just any piece of news. If what Edward said was true, then A storm was about to start.

Tywin looked at Edward's face to see if the brat was deceiving him as this was not a laughing matter, and Tywin did not think that Edward would joke about something like that.
