"You might have to make a trip to the HQ," said Cloe. "Some matters need you to be there in person."
"When?" asked Raelle.
"Next month," answered Cloe.
"That's fine. I'm going to take Xian to see the place I grew up in. So, I can spare some time."
Cloe looked up at Raelle with a complicated expression.
"What?"
Cloe shook her head, "Lately, you put Shui Xian above everything. Even above work. I never thought I'd see this change."
"That's not entirely true," said Raelle. "Work is still very important to me. It's just that so is my husband."
Cloe smiled at that and nodded her head in agreement. "Anyway, it's good if you can make time for this trip to the HQ. Let me know in time so I can prepare for it."
"What about my new assistant?"
Cloe paused, "Are you that eager to get rid of me?"
"Yes," said Raelle.
"That's hurtful," was Cloe's response.
"You should be used to it by now."
