Chapter 16

FREYA WAS SILENTLY sitting in the couch at her room's balcony while waiting for Zander, it's nearly twilight and sunset is so beautiful to watch. After a few minutes of waiting, she heard Zander's voice.

"Baby..."

She then glanced at him as he seats beside her. She was trying to read Zander's emotion after knowing that she's pregnant with his child, but she can't read anything.

She let out a deep breath before speaking up, "what now?"

"I'm leaving."

She was dumbfounded at what he said, she was hurt, bakit nga ba siya umasa na matatanggap ni Zander ang bata? Hindi niya mapigilan na tumulo ang luha niya.

Mapait siyang tumawa habang namimilibis ang luha sa kaniyang mata. "What do I expect? Of course, hindi mo tatanggapin ang baby. Ganiyan naman kayo eh, pag may responsibilidad na, tatakbuhan niyo. I know may kasalanan din naman ako kung bat ako nabuntis, pero okay lang, umalis ka na."

Zander held her hand, "no, baby. It's not like that-"
