Reunion

Himawari walks into Kaminari's office making herself comfortable, "Delivery for a Mr Ryujin from the ARC." She smiles as he looks at the fragile package she delivered.

"If you're wondering this is the blood extracted from the Lin's through the colour band machines and all the cells you need for the new drug are all in their DNA, do keep in mind these vials keep the blood fresh as if it was still in the human body.

"There's a limited supply so if you want to profit out of it you need to make it very clear there's limited supply and only the highest bidder can afford something like this I will want 50 percent of what you get and I will want you to get me the ability that I want."

Ryujin lifts his head, "What ability is that?"

Himawari casually smirks rolling her shoulder as she turns in her seat, "I want Yuno Lin's ability."

Ryujin refuses and she smirks.

"Well, you won't get this until I get what I want and just so you know I already have the perfect ability for you and I'm sure after you read this you'll keep in mind I'm on a time crunch." She passes Ryujin a file about a student at Roman high. Shinzo Koyomi.

"His ability is regression, I'm sure you'd love an ability that can age you backwards all you want."

Ryujin shakes his head, "His ability won't work for me you think I didn't do my research? How do you think I came up with this colour system? I wanted to check my options thoroughly and I'll take the warning I got from a friend to not mess with this.

"Abilities take time and they develop from within the womb you can never create a Super. From the research we've done lately we've learned that the Power Egg is not the source, but a power regulator hence why the more powerful have bigger ones.

"Each individual has a unique source of power in their bodies and we still don't know what it is."

Himawari scowls and glares at him that is not what she wanted to hear and that is not the answer she wants to leave here with.

"Kim can figure it out if you stop being a foolish old man and ask her for help in fact call her right now and work something out I want what I want and I always get what I want. I want that ability and I will not stop until I have it."

She stands up taking her things with her, "Mark my words Ryujin if you don't give me what I want I will end you."

She storms out of the building getting in her car glaring at Lana who flinches away, "Do you know where she is? There's no way she just quits her job and disappears off of the face of the earth."

Lana shakes her head, "I made a 3D scan of the Palace and all the secret rooms and doors she isn't there I went so far as to stalk the Castle since her uncle is about to be Emperor and I can't find them there either.

"I've had someone stake out the place all he reported is that Tachibana comes and goes taking his son and to and from school every day.

"On some days they stop by the park feeding the birds and having ice cream on weekends he takes his youngest son to the Zoo and the rest of the time he's working.

"His construction company has been spreading out to other prefectures in the country especially since the rise in Super gangs has been getting out of hand and acts of terrorism are getting worse property damage is on the rise.

"It's like he had foresight and built a company that's a call and response team to clean up messes where Supers have been. They are so good it looks exactly the same like nothing ever happened after their done with the place."

Himawari checks the time. "Where is he right now? Will I find him at the park?"

Lana starts the car driving so she can see for herself there is no way she will risk putting herself in a position where she will get yelled at.

Xavier smiles as Lorry is friendly with the birds today last time he chased them away today he's being friendly and playing alone.

"What would you like today? Ice-cream again?"

Xavier shakes his head standing up pulling his father to a near by food place that sells really nice fries Rex always brings him here on weekends and he's starting to like it.

Ken walks in throwing off his jacket he did not expect the place to be so hot.

"Xavier." The sweet cashier smiles at Xavier who runs behind the counter standing in front of her with his hands behind his back waiting for his usual order.

"Xavier!"

The cashier turns in the direction of the commanding voice she looks between Xavier and the man glaring at his son to come back.

"Ken!" Xavier yells back crossing his arms, "That was legit not necessary Ken." He pouts the same way Yuno does when she's upset which always gets her an apology out of Ken.

"Okay fine I'm sorry, I just thought it's highly inappropriate for you to just walk over and stand behind the counter like that she might get fired."

Xavier cocks a brow Ken is baffled by how he can raise one without the other sometimes he doesn't even nod with his head he nods with his brow.

"Fire?"

Ken chuckles at his confusion not understanding what getting fired means. "So? What do you want anyway?"

The cashier brings him his usual meal and the same one in a take out bag.

"Spicy chicken for mommy with extra hot chilli sauce."

The cashier winks turning to Ken he just pulls out his card and pays for the meals before he sits and watches him eat.

Lorry flies in Ken sighs he probably ate a bird or two before coming by he's starting to get worried about the birds killer instincts it might be a problem if Xavier doesn't start setting some boundaries.

"I'm done."

Lorry wraps his tail around the take out meal protectively he knows it's for Tori.

Himawari glares at the park when she doesn't see Ken or Xavier, "Where the hell is he?"

Lana smiles, "At Xavier's favourite spot we can walk it's really close, his car is over there." Lana points at the classic BMW M2 series Coupé.

"Ugh, he still drives that thing?" Himawari gets out of the car smiling when she sees Ken. Sitting in front of him only to have her arm get burnt by Xavier who's upset she just randomly sat on him.

"Ou…" Himawari looks Xavier in the eyes she did not expect their reunion to be so awkward.

Xavier scoots away from her his innocent eyes turning to his father. "I'm sorry."

Ken checks her hand the burn looks really bad.

"Maybe Yuno can heal me."

Ken shakes his head, "She's out of the country."

Himawari looks up at Ken comforting Xavier he didn't mean to hurt her she just had it coming.

"Roku will be here any moment he'll patch you up as best he can, but the burn will leave a scar."

Himawari shrugs her shoulders, "When Yuno returns she can heal this."

Ken shakes his head, "She's not coming back any time soon." Ken checks her arm again Lorry casually watches from the side lines his main priority is Tori's food and making sure it stays warm.

Ken sits down across Himawari smiling at Xavier who's sitting on his fathers lap.

"I want mommy."

Ken pecks the top of his head, "I know."

Yuno sneezes dancing in her socks cooking with Senitsu while the twins sleep. She takes Senitsu's hand spinning around dancing left and right surprising Senitsu she did not expect Yuno to have such smooth moves she looks too stiff for dancing.

She sings along holding the hot spatula Senitsu turns to Tori singing along to the song dancing along with Snow.

"I must say I haven't seen a dancing wolf in a long time."

"You talking to Bobo or Snow?"

"Both."

Yuno smiles flipping the pan cakes for dessert she asked Xavier to get her some spicy chicken. She checks her watch Ken and Xavier usually spend one on one time after school and she has all day with Tori who spends weekends with him coming back on Monday mornings.

"You sure are confident he's coming back with that spicy chicken."

Yuno smiles, "He will he knows we share those and have a pan cake eating contest together last time Ken joined us I'm hoping he will today, but if they don't come back early it might be a problem."

"So, what exactly is Ken to you now? I mean you're not together anymore so I'm curious what you are."

"Friends, what else could we be? Enemies?"

"Married."

Yuno slips and falls Senitsu rolls her eyes adding the pan cake to the long line of piled pancakes she's just grateful Yuno cleans up after herself either wise she wouldn't let her stay here in the first place.

Tori and Xavier are also clean which is also why they stay here.

Roku walks into the restaurant holding a first aid kit for Himawari. "Sorry I'm late work was pretty hectic I'll make it quick."

Himawari watches as Roku uses a healing technique Izumi taught him so he can stay at the hospital in Yuno's place he likes it there, but he was useful because he channeled Yuno's healing now he can't so he was taught his own style of healing something Izumi was taught by his father.

He smiles when the scar burns are also gone applying the burn cream wrapping her arm up before ruffling Xavier's hair and leaving he didn't say anything he just did what he had to do and leave. Yuno left more of an impression when she did that and usually it was a good one.

Himawari's eyes follow him as he gets in his car driving back to work, it's not really his it's one of the cars from the Palace he just claimed it as his. A red Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X.

A pink haired female who saw Roku walks up to Ken, "Tachibana, I need your help."

He turns and tries to not look confused but he's not trying hard enough.

"The Exorcists know about my sister they are coming after her I know it's horrible what happened to your twins, but please, we need your help they won't stop hunting down any immortals with unborn children and now she's the next target."

Ken goes from confused to expressionless in seconds. "What are you talking about?"

"They are using the blood of unborn immortals for some kind of ritual for them to be true immortals like the Emperor many of us managed to escape Hiroshima's initial strike and protect the unborn children we have in our clans, but now the Exorcists are after us.

"Please, I don't know anyone else who can help us."

Ken holds Xavier tighter, "Do they need unborn children specifically? Or that's just a personal preference?" she shrugs her shoulders and he sighs. "How far along is she?"

"4 months."

"Come to my office in the morning tomorrow I'll have Izumi there with Roku they can maybe come up with a solution for you.

"I have to go and if I was you I'd stop assuming they aren't against using children in general, as far as I'm concerned I think unborn children are just to ease their own guilty conscious."

Himawari stares in disbelief when Ken ignores her like she isn't there talking to the pink haired girl as he leaves taking Xavier home.

Yuno chirpily takes Xavier from Ken, "Well damn, he's suddenly heavy. Did you eat too much?"

Xavier looks at the pancakes and shakes his head instantly. Tori is already eating his pancakes and chocolate ice cream sandwich.

Ken pecks Yuno's cheek as he walks towards Tori sitting next to him he didn't eat to save up room for the pancake eating contest.

Senitsu huffs, "Friends huh!"

Yuno glares at her as she walks away, "How the hell is a fossil like that sexier than me. Life is so unfair."

Yuno sits down next to Ken smiling excited for the contest she'd eat her chicken first, but it looks like Ken has somewhere to be right after. "Ready! Go!"

Tori takes his sweet time with his pancake sandwich ignoring everyone else stuffing their faces. "Syrup please." Tori points at the syrup across the table and Snow narrows his eyes at Lorry who wakes up grabbing it with his tail flying over everyone else giving it to Tori. "Thank you."

Xavier taps out first leaving Yuno and Ken with a few pancakes left.

"Wait, who ate the most though?"

"Yuno." Senitsu answers walking back into the room giving Tori a cloth he doesn't like being a messy eater.

Ken taps out before Yuno does when there's one pan cake left.

"Winners still going to be Ken even if you eat the last pan cake."

Yuno laughs holding her stomach. "I won last time though so I don't care I'll let you have this one." She smiles at Ken congratulating him with a big round of applause crying fills the room and Ken glares at Yuno.

"See what you did? I would've preferred a different reward, you still get to make all the noise you like."

Senitsu gasps while Yuno covers Xavier's ears, "Ken!"

He smirks checking on the boys he notices Shinrin's string on his leg is gone.

"Well that can't be good." Izumi startles Ken who did not see him coming.

"I was going to come find you after this."

Izumi nods, "I know, Rogue called me this morning and told me. Hiroshima is under captivity so Roku isn't in the clear he's still going to be expected to murder innocent children for their cause.

"If we don't give them the unborn children they will go after the ones aged 5 and below Xavier is safe because despite his age he's 90 years old Hitori on the other hand is not in the clear.

"There are many like him all around the world the 3 other Luxars I know went into hiding years ago their searching for them, but they won't be found unless they want to be found.

"Roku is not safe and neither is anyone he cares about we need to be smart because refusing them is not an option."

Ken sighs, "What do we do? Is there a way to stop them?"

Izumi nods. "I will give them what they want all we have to do is free Hiroshima he will kill them before their transition is complete."

Ken looks at the door, "Does she need to know?"

Izumi shakes his head turning to Sora who's slightly floating. "She'll have a hard time training as is I have decided to lift the spell I placed on her and Kai I will put it back on them once this whole mess clears up and you can leave as planned."

"I knew you were against me leaving because it's what you want."

"It is what is best for them besides you'll be back. This is their home their legacy and their favourite place in the world you'll know why soon enough and that includes Hitori and Xavier."
