Kai vs Immortals

Kim is currently in the process of security upgrades when Ken and Ackerman rush Tori in and Ken can't melt the ice spreading through his body.

"YESSS!" Kim jumps up and gladly takes Tori laying him on the bed.

"Careful I can't melt the ice."

Kim waves her brother off and the first thing she checks is the size of his egg.

"I knew it, Tori's egg is growing again, but luckily I already had new braces in the works." She takes off the old ones and clicks the new ones on him giving him a big smile.

"Kim it doesn't explain the growl and the venom or whatever the hell is going on with his fangs." Ken winces taking off his shirt and watches as his veins protrude turning a black-ish colour they feel like they are bursting the faster the ice spreads through his body.

"Well, I say we put you in quarantine and see what happens to you. How fast is it spreading?"

"Too fast."

Kim takes her brother to another room and snaps his neck. "Goodnight baby bro." Kim collects samples of Tori's so-called venom and has a hard time getting Snow to cooperate.

Snow snaps his jaws at Kim and she grabs him with all her strength to keep him in check.

"Stop it!" Tori yells at Kim crossing his arms and takes Snow away from Kim.

"He's sick I want to help him Tori."

"Noooo. Mommy!"

Ackerman checks the time it's a 3-hour drive from the airport to here. Yuno isn't here she won't be for a lot longer. The problem is that once Tori decides he only wants Yuno it's going to get messy for all parties involved.

While Tori is crying Kim injects him with a light dose of a sedative and lets him sleep muzzling Snow separating them leaving the puppy in lock up.

"Tell Ken I told you so when he wakes up I'm busy right now Kai built me these great motion sensors that I am installing."

Ken wakes up groaning to find Kim talking to Tori who cooled down after a power nap.

"So, it's best to start considering that one of these days another wolf spasm will happen. His DNA is changing and as much as I am worried it's the best thing for him considering his egg was growing at such an abnormal rate/

"Expect his mood to spike more often as well, especially when Snow is irritated it affects him. So, stop irritating Snow and they will be less irritable though his levels of aggression are spiking rather alarmingly I think he might need anger management or something

"His wolf half might be too strong."

Ken cocks a brow curious who she's talking too seeing as how Ackerman is fast asleep on the bed since he got bored of waiting for Ken to return from the dead and for Tori to wake up. "Do you think Yuno is okay? I hate feeling like I should be there."

"Ken you're a dragon, when your instincts say someone is in danger that's exactly what it means."

"That's the thing I feel like it's not her specifically and it's not the boys or Xavier. I don't know who."

"Great, let's go." Ackerman sits up ready to get on a flight and get the boys.

"Fine I'll call. What about Tori?"

Kim smiles when Tori shares his guava roll. "I hate to say this but I'll watch the little guy we might bond or something who knows."

Ken and Ackerman both give her sceptic looks last time she volunteered to baby sit Yuno called non-stop saying Kim locked the boys up without food all day for fighting in her lab.

"I'd rather take him with me than leave him with you, this is why Roku should've stayed behind."

Kim scowls, "Like he's any better."

After the boys ran into the tunnel they were surrounded by 3 feet tall black ants.

"Holy fuck!" Rex turns tail without batting an eye and they all leave the tunnel.

"Gotcha." A red masked stranger grabs Rex by the back of the neck and he punches the guy knocking him back a few feet Rex has a phobia of insects.

"Bugs? What the fuck? Saito get us out of here I don't fuck with bugs." Rex climbs on Saito's back refusing to let his feet touch the ground watching his back like a hawk.

"Some band of elites we are, everyone knows we're here." Kai points out the location of the enemies who did a sloppy job concealing their presence or they just underestimate them.

The ground shakes Rex and Saito lose their balance rolling back into the ant pit.

Everyone within a 5-foot radius can hear Rex's scream. He jumps up and smashes the ground repeatedly while Saito is looking at the roof of the pit checking every second for the cracks forming calculating how long they have before the pit caves in.

"Get the hell away from me!" Rex jumps forward attacking the ants while Saito attacks using long ranged wind attacks to cover his blind spots.

The roof of the pit starts to crack faster and slowly caves in so Saito shifts into a dragon covering Rex shielding him from the debris as well as his own temper tantrum.

Setsuno and Kai are running without a sense of direction through the brush leaves and thick soil that almost feels like sand.

"There's water up ahead." Kai states and Setsuno grabs Kai running in the direction away from the water.

"I've got them." A girl in all black with a red mask gives everyone the location of the two. She takes out a lyre and plays a song.

An arrow breaks three strings and her attention is turned to Yuno who's awake holding a bow and arrow.

"Just give me coordinates and I can guarantee I won't miss, I got bullied as a kid so first chance my parents got to put me in a martial arts school that was willing to train a Super they dumped my ass there every after school without fail."

Roku groans the Lyre from before wasn't alone and his cockiness got him knocked out.

He's lucky Yuno woke up since she was no longer in range of the spell putting her to sleep and grabbed the first thing she could find to break the Lyres instrument and hit him on the back of the head much harder than she intended too, but the adrenaline got the better of her.

"It's too late, if they heard the sound they will start hallucinating and they are too stubborn to turn back they will not leave until we have both stones on the plus side please don't tell Ken I stabbed you, it's the only way I knew to ask for backup."

Roku gives Yuno different coordinates and an arrow shaped differently from the others. Yuno shoots the arrow and manages to catch another red masked stranger who had a clear opening to jump Saito.

"My stomach burns more than my shoulder." Yuno shoots another arrow and groans startling Roku.

"We need a way to get those stones and leave either wise the boss will have our heads. I see nothing wrong with you, are you sure you're not just imagining that pain maybe if you take a breather or something, honestly anything as long as you get back in one piece."

Saito and Rex climb back up to the mountain following Luna by scent.

"We're being watched." Saito states and Rex walks faster.

"Their also being watched if they come after us Roku is coming after them." Rex points up and there is a thundering cloud hovering above them following their every move.

"She's hiding in another tunnel and it's occupied, are you ready?"

Rex glares at Saito for his ridiculous question grabbing him by the collar. "Dude you're a fucking dragon huff and puff the damn island away if you have too we have permission to flatten the mountain now get serious. I'm not getting stuck in there again."

Rex shutters and climbs on Saito's back holding on when he starts breathing air balls at the ground using his weight to make the pit cave in giving Rex an opening to swoop in and knock Luna out taking the stone and they fly back to Roku.

"Don't let them get away." Luna shouts and a male who has been watching from the top of the volcano shakes his head surprised that Roku's decoy illusions worked to throw everyone off.

"A Luxar ey, not bad for a so-called rescue team, but an amateur has nothing on me." The male puts up a barrier that traps the boys on his side of the island, but Rex threw the stone at Yuno moments before the wall was put up and she caught it.

Yuno's face pales when she watches Saito crash into the invisible wall and she hears Kai and Setsuno calling for help getting cornered by hell hounds with wild smirks on their faces as they approach them.

"Roku!!"

Yuno faints and Roku catches her gently laying her next to Xavier racking his brain on what could be the problem he senses absolutely nothing wrong with her.

"Dammit, Tachibana will lose it when he finds out."

Setsuno takes out a cactus seed he came with and throws it on the ground making a giant cactus shield as they run away.

"How big can you make a Venus fly trap?" Kai asks as they run.

"On this ground, pretty big."

Kai throws him the bag of Venus fly trap seedlings and Setsuno cocks a brow but now's not the time.

"Stay behind me."

The male by the volcano cackles as the Venus plant sends the hounds running back and the two boys finally find Roku who takes the ring he gave to Yuno and uses it to suck up the spell.

"It'll take time to make the spell big enough to drop the wall so focus on finding the others."

As he finishes his sentence the sound of pitter patter echoes Rex gives Kai a tight hug.

"Get us out of here Roku I can't do this anymore."

Roku shakes his head, "Stay alive you dumb kids once I find a way I'll come get you, but you have to get out of here and stick together watch each other's backs and stay hidden."

The male at the volcano turns to the Negai trapped inside. "You can come out now Melody you've served your sentence, I hope you've learned your lesson about betraying me."

The spell is lifted and the brunette walks out of the volcano and stands naked in front of the male she lightly bows her head.

"Kudesai."

He tilts her chin up and smiles, "Still a good little actress I see." Kudesai turns his attention to the four boys and separates them with a snap of his finger, "The Luxar is the biggest threat I'll start with him."

Roku turns around as he senses Kudesai the difference in power is too great for him to actually stand a chance but his main objective is to protect Yuno and Xavier.

Roku puts the ring back on Yuno adding a shielding spell and cloaking spell, his eyes land on the stone and he takes both stones adding a drop of Yuno's blood keeping them hidden as a last resort.

Kudesai points a finger at Roku making his blood boil, Roku channels the pain and projects it back intensifying it using the stone of balance to throw his pain receptors out of whack intensifying the pain tenfold.

Kudesai chuckles, "Nice try, but that tickles." Kudesai teleports behind Roku and grabs him by the throat.

Roku uses the stone of balance to switch their strength and uses a devastating wind attack to blow Kudesai back and drop the invisible wall as well as lift the spell placed on the island hoping Yuno will feel better.

Kudesai teleports behind Roku smirking dropping the spell took too long and it gave his opponent enough time to recover.

"You're more powerful than I thought, I should've known that your only weakness is those two behind you." Kudesai teleports behind Yuno and Xavier his face scrunches up when he lays eyes on Xavier.

"I'm guessing this is a hybrid Immortal." He tries to step on Yuno but Roku snaps his neck and keeps him away from the two fortifying his shield and cloaking spell just before the stone of balance switches power back to its rightful owner.

Since it is about balance eventually things will be restored to their original state since balance according to the stone is about recycling.

Kudesai teleports behind Roku who turns around stabbing him with a blade spelled to paralyse anyone it comes in contact with. "Clever, but useless."

Roku fades away and carries Yuno and Xavier to safety he's out matched his best bet is to wait until he has all the boys as back up.

Kai swims to the surface and finds himself surrounded by 5 hell hounds. He stands on the water taking a step back.

The Lyre that grabbed Rex earlier plays a tune that induces vertigo and Kai sinks into the water. He can see the sound hitting the water but it can't affect him so he forms a water trident and attacks the hounds he can't literally kill them.

Ken mentioned that the more damage done to an Immortal before you kill it the longer it will stay dead so all he has to do is injure them first and he'll buy himself enough time to catch up to Roku.

The female watches as Kai occasionally comes up for air more often but his back up is already on their last legs.

Kai jumps up from the water and decapitates the hounds when he's sure that he's done adequate damage. He shapes the water into a bow and arrow and grazes the girls left arm.

She glares and plays her instrument faster.

Kai's vision blurs and he sinks again. She grabs him and tosses him out of the water kicking him back a few times.

Kai grabs her leg attaching a water whip to her ankle before he flings her back knocking her into a tree.

She recovers quickly turning her strings into senbon needles and aims for Kai's vital spots putting his left arm and right leg to sleep.

Kai collapses and she approaches holding a long blade in hand. Kai smirks when she's close to him and generates water bullets with a hidden poison plant he stumbled upon earlier when he was with Saito even the dragon had a hard time shaking it off.

He knocks the mask off and she throws another needle at his throat.

Kai gasps for air when he can't hold his breath under water and resurfaces confused to see the hell hounds still standing and the masked female waves pulling on the string of her instrument. He was convinced the sound can't affect him under water.

Kai smirks as he makes 2 water balls and shatters his entire inner ear losing balance.

The masked female is beyond shocked he would do that little does she know he knows a healer who can fix him up good as new in just a couple of minutes so he's not worried.

"You fool you can't even stand up straight."

The worry in her eyes confuses Kai for a second but he brushes it off though not completely disregarding the fact that she could've killed him yet she's only toying with him.

"What was that? You want to go out on a date? Sorry but murderous girls aren't my time besides I'm pretty certain you're out of my age range." Kai smirks in her direction walking on water like nothings wrong.

"What are you?" She asks surprised that he acts like he's completely recovered but that's not the case.

Kai starts moving the water behind him trapping the hounds in water cages and turns his attention to the masked female who jumps away to the next tree.

Kai uses a whip to pull her in and locks her in a water cage watching them drown over and over again until he's unconscious and the others are out too.

Roku finds Kai and adds him to his list of unconscious passengers as he tries to find safety.

Kudesai finally pulls the knife out and breaks it. "Children and their childish games this won't go on any further."

"You enjoy toying with them Kudesai, why aren't we leaving?"

"I'm bored, why else?"

Melody walks away staying close to Yuno. Roku turns around feeling like he's being watched.

"I hate this fucking island why the hell did they have to separate you guys and keep you so far apart? It's annoying."
