Asuma," Sakura, you are the top student when it comes to theory knowledge. Unlike your team members, you don't have any clan bloodline abilities. So you have to rely on your knowledge to survive completely. In the upcoming Chunin Exam do you think it is enough?" 

Sakura," The Chunin Exams are an opportunity for Genin to be promoted to chunin. The exam structure and evaluation processes differ from one exam to the next so that Genin cannot come prepared. Villages originally held their own individual exams. Following the Third Shinobi World War, exams that were open to all villages started being held bi-annually, with villages taking turns for hosting responsibilities. These shared exams improve relations between the villages, present up-and-coming ninjas to clients, and create an opportunity for gambling. Although the exams, specifically the final round matches, are designed for there to be an ultimate "winner", success does not guarantee promotion nor does failure preclude it; if the observing ninja feels a Genin displays the necessary qualities for a chunin, that Genin will be promoted regardless of how they place in the exams. For this reason, it is possible for as many as all of the finalists to pass, or even for none of them to. If I want to evaluate myself I don't think I am prepared enough." 

Asuma," Since you were aware of it yourself, it will make things easy. When it comes to skills, you are ok. The training we have been through until now is good enough for you. But the Chunin Exam is a different thing. Your opponent will not hesitate to kill you. They will use any methods to deceive, capture, and torture you. Your biggest weakness is the mental strength. It is very vulnerable compared to others. In order to strengthen it I like you to do a very difficult training to overcome it."

Underground Dungeon Prison.

Asuma and Sakura were roaming inside the Prison Dungeon.

"Sensei what are we doing here? I don't think we should be here"

"What's there to worry? The person we are looking for is here" 

As they went through the hall, they finally saw the person they were looking for.

"Asuma Sarutobi What are you doing here?"

"Ibiki Morino I came for you. Let me introduce my student Sakura Haruno. I need your help in training this kid."

"Who is this Sensei?" 

"Ibiki Morino is the Commanding Officer of the Konoha Torture and Interrogation Force."

Sakura got slightly jerked when she heard the word torture.

Ibiki Morino got mad.

" Are you kidding me Asuma Sarutobi? Do you think I have time to train some kid? I am in the middle of something important."

"Come on Don't be like that. She is the brightest student in this batch. She won't disappoint you in anything except mental strength." 

"Mental Strength ka. I think that is the reason You want to meet me. I don't have time to train her, you also know it. Still, why did you bring her here?"

"I know it but I don't have a choice. I just want her to tag along with you sometime. That is the best training I can possibly think of. And also you know this year they also will be participating in the Chunin Exam. I don't want to lose a bright student. You know what I am speaking right?" 

"Sensei, you mean the newly formed Snow Crystal Village village?"

Ibiki Morino was surprised.

"How do you know that? "

"Hina told me"

"Hina Uzumaki ka. Makes sense. She used to sneak into the intel department to gather information. I even caught her more than a few times. I even offered her to join us. Unfortunately, she refused. She is way mature compared to others in her age"

Asuma didn't seem too surprised.

"That's Uzumaki for you. The greatest clan to ever exist"

"Anyway Asuma, What do you mean by tagging along? Do you want her to experience how I torture others? I don't think she can handle"

Ibiki Morino gave a look at weak prey Haruno Sakura.

"If you can increase her mental strength, she is going to be a big asset for Konoha and also I asked Third Hokage. He said it is entirely up to you. If you feel like she is useless you can always return her back to me"

Ibiki Morino thought for some time.

"I am going to test you now. I will keep you by my side if you give me a satisfactory result. What do you say?" 

"Ibiki Sensei, I am ready?"

AUTHOR: After thinking for 2 weeks straight, I think this is the best way to train Sakura. Her mental strength is the best weakness of her in the Naruto Series. She never learned to stand on her own when she faced her enemy.
