"A life lost, is a life gained"

*5 months later

Y/n's bump was slowly growing. She would always look at her belly and tear up.

Jungkook tried his best to attend every doctor's appointment. He made sure he spent time with Y/n and took care of her.

If he couldn't attend the appointments, he'd send Taehyung or Hoseok with her.

He would make food and never let her do anything. The others would visit her and Jin and Yoongi would make her a meal.

She felt great to have people like this.

''Y/n, I told you not to do anything. Just sit down and take rest.'' Jungkook said and made her sit down.

''I can do it.'' She said.

''But not now.'' He said. He was about to leave but she held his hand and stopped him. He smiled and sat down next to her.

Y/n rested her back on him and he placed his hands on her belly.

''I am really excited. Can't wait till the baby comes out and explores the world.'' Jungkook said.

''A little Kookie.'' As Y/n said, she thought about it.

''Or how about a little Aein.'' Jungkook said and hugged her.

Y/n held his hand and said,

"I am ok with both.''

He smiled as he heard her say that.

"How many kids would you like to have?" He asked.

"How much ever is possible." She said.

"Then you should cooperate more for it." Jungkook said.

"Yah... Stop it." She said and hit his shoulder. And they laughed.

*4 months later

Y/n's belly was growing more and it has been 9 months. Jungkook would talk to the baby inside. He would tell how great Y/n was and how brave she was.

While Jungkook was off at work, she would talk to him about Jungkook.

There were moments when the baby would kick. Jungkook would enjoy those moments with Y/n.

Y/n would crave for sweet, spicy, or sour things. And Jungkook would get them and feed it for her. He would enjoy looking at her, enjoying those things he got for her.

Y/n was in the house, accompanied by Hoseok. He was making some ramen, while Y/n was seated on the couch.

Suddenly, there was some pain. She held onto her belly and tried getting up but it pained more.

"H-Hobi." She barely whispered. Hoseok noticed her getting up in pain.

He switched off the stove and went to her.

"Y/n, are you ok? What is happening?" He asked worried.

"I-it's pa-paining."

"L-let's go to the hospital." He said and took the keys and helped Y/n get in the car and drove to the hospital immediately.

On his way, he called Jungkook.

"Hello Kook." He said in a tensed way.

"H-hyung what happened?" He asked, as there were gun shot sounds.

"Kook, Y/n's in pain. I am taking her to the hospital."

"Ok hyung, I'll come." He said and the line ended.

Jungkook asked someone to cover for him and he left.

He drove to the hospital immediately and reached soon.

Hoseok admitted her and they injected IV's.

Jungkook ran inside and saw Hoseok.

"Is she ok?" Hoseok nodded.

He was about to go in, but Hoseok called him.

"Jungkook-ah."

"I think it's high time you tell her. You've got only few days. And it wouldn't be good if Taehyung said it."

"I'll see." He said and went in.

"Aein, are you ok?" He asked her.

"Feeling better." She said.

"She's just dehydrated and tired. Drink a lot of water and have some fresh fruit juices." The doctor said and left.

"Aein, you really ok right?" he asked and held her hand.

"Jinjja gwenchana." She said and smiled.

"Y/n, I need to tell you something." He said and looked at their hand.

"What is it, Kookie?" She asked.

"I.... I am going on a secret mission..... soon. I might not be home. It might be for a week. As I said before, it's to defeat Ki-ha and his team. I am worried about you." He said and looked at her.

"Kookie, I know how important this is to you. I'll be fine. And Tae oppa is there. Don't worry about me. Focus on your work."

"Aein, but still, how can I leave you, in this condition? You are important to me." He said.

"Kookie, it's ok. I can manage. I'll video call you. Tae oppa will help me out. You need to do this for our child, to live a peaceful life. For us to not have any problems in the future." She said.

He let out a heavy breath and looked at her.

"I'll be fine. I know there are many first things in this, but our future comes first." She said and cupped his cheek.

He kissed her hands and smiled.

"Ok. As you say, I will. But you have to do what the doctor said. Go on regular check ups and inform me if something is wrong. To me, your health comes first." He said.

She soon got discharged from the hospital and headed home.

Jungkook tried his best to spend as much time as possible he could do, before he left for the mission. There was one thing, only he knew about.

He may or may not make it back home. There are chances he may return or not. It is a huge war between his team and the opponent. Both the groups have the same power. And it was a one-on-one, head-to-head fight.

*two days later

Jungkook was leaving today. He really didn't want to leave her and go, but he promised Y/n, for a safe future.

"Kookie, be safe. Don't worry about me. And have your food time to time and if your body aches, have this medicine. If you don't understand, ask Hobi, he'll tell. And, keep your guns loaded, and have extra bullets, a lot with you. And....." She looked at him and saw him smilimg at her.

"What?" She asked.

"Nothing." He said.

"Yahh.. Just tell what."

"You give these things, like I'm going for a trip. And it's so cute and funny to see you like this." He said.

"You are important to me." She said. He smiled.

He kneeled down and talked to the baby.

"Daddy is going on a mission. See you soon." He said.

He got up and kissed her pasionately and they hugged each other.

"All the best." She said and he left.

While they were on thier way to the secret location, Hoseok asked Jungkook.

"Kook, did you tell her that's its' a risky thing?"

"Ani hyung. I can't tell her that. How can I tell her? I couldn't. If I can make it, it's good. If not, I can't do anything." He said, thinking about her.

While at the house, Taehyung took great care of Y/n. He took care of her like his sister.

He tried cooking, but it would end up in mess. So, Y/n would guide him, while he did it. He also used to talk about the mischievous things he would do.

*5 days later

Jungkook called Y/n, when he was free. But he called her everyday, but he'd hang up soon. Y/n didn't worry about it as she knew it was his job.

Jungkook and his team were executing their plan today.

Y/n was coming down from her room, when suddenly, it pained.

"Taehyung." She called. He rushed to her and asked what happened.

"It's paining a lot." She said, in between, trying to endure it. But she couldn't. It started paining more.

He helped her get in the car and drove to the hospital, As they reached, he asked for the nurses to get a stretcher.

They took Y/n in it.

"Oppa, please stay with me." She said. He nodded and they were at the room.

Y/n was in labour. Taehyung stood beside her and held her hand and comforted her.

He tried calling Jungkook, but he didn't attend it.

"Y/n, you can do it. Push. Push." She tried her best. She was getting tired.

She put in all her force and pushed, and lay back. The room was filled with the cries of the baby.

"It's a boy." Said the doctor. Soon the baby boy was in her hands.

Meanwhile, Jungkook was fighting with Ki-ha's men.

Suddenly, a sharp object struck through him, from the back.

He turned and saw Jang Ki-ha.

"You.." He said and shot him right in the chest.

Jungkook fell to the ground. Hoseok went towards him and shook him.

"Kook! Kook!" Hoseok's hand, all covered with blood.

"H...hyung... Ta...take care of Y/n." He said and his eyes closed.

"Kook-ahh, don't go. We need you. Y/n needs you. Your child needs you." Hoseok said, as a tear flowed. Jungkook's team defeated them, and it was silent, only hearing the cries of the other guys.

He was thinking how Y/n would take this.

Suddenly, Jungkook's phone rang. He picked it up and attended it.

"Kook, Y/n gave birth. And it's a boy. Y/n wants to talk to you." Taehyung said and gave the phone to her.

"Kookie, it's a boy, like you wished. I hope you are happy. I am really excited to see your reaction." She said as tear fell.

"Kookie, are you ok? Are you talking? I can't hear you." She said.

"Y....Y/n." She heard Hoseok's voice.

"Hobi, where is Kookie? Is he ok? Hobi, say something." She said.

"Y...Y/n, Jungkook i...is gone." He said.

"Wh-what do you mean?" She asked as tears were at the edge of flowing.

"Y/n he left us." He took up all the energy he had and said.

Tears flowed. Taehyung was worried. He asked her what happened, but she didn't say anything.

He took the phone from her and was shocked when he heard that. Y/n cried more.

Hoseok talked to Taehyung and said him to comfort her.

After the call ended, he looked at Jungkook and said,

"Kook, it's a boy. A boy, who you wanted to name him as Yoongi. But now, you are not there to witness this." He cried.

Y/n was in disbelief. She didn't know what to do. She was going crazy. Jungkook thought he would make it, but he didn't.

Y/n totally broke down, while holding her son in her hands.

Who knew this would happen. Everything is all in the hands of the superior. No one can change it, even if you want to. All lie in his power. If something is meant to happen, it'll happen in any way. This is only a one way road. There's no reverse or a u-turn.

He/she is reborn in this world in the form of the dead. When one dies, a new one is born, in it's place.
