Amidst the invasion that ensues National City; the tallest building has just fallen, and in its collapse, the rumble it caused resulted in the impactful shock that forced debris to ripple through the street and other buildings within its vicinity. Glasses were shattered, and brick walls were torn to rubbles, as the dust that swept through the air that rendered visions blinded finally settled in.
In the brief solemn state of uncertain silence, as the streets were barren and the dust cloud picks up through the wind – the sudden rupture of gunfire echoed out in distance away, nearly faint and faded. However, explosions as loud as though it was near exploded, sending strong and terrifying vibration throughout the area.
Frightened and frozen in fear, horrified survivors took shelter in their homes, and others in shops and restaurants when it all unexpectedly began.
'I-it was just an ordinary day! It was supposed to just be an ordinary day!'
A man devoured by fear cowered underneath his bed, as he continuously shivered scared. However, despite wanting none more than to close his eyes and escape the horrid nightmare, he was provided a view of the unfortunate people that had been caught outside.
With an apartment that have been rippled through by the shockwave, it left a massive hole to the side of the apartment building, and while it may have been a miracle he survived, he felt no less fortunate as he look at the display of gruesome horrors.
In a haunting display, what was prior to the sight had been a beautiful mother and a cheerful child not older than five – now shredded to pieces – by the thousands of sharp and broken debris that have been hurled when the tallest building collapsed.
As he wept and mourned the unfortunate and for himself, he then had to watch the streets that have been soon marched on by the sizeable army of unsympathetic murderers. Who had no interest nor care as it crushed the heads and bodies that littered its way – splattering their gore as new paint decoration to the city's streets.

As the invasion still continues to afflict the horrific experience and detrimental destruction to the people and its city, alarms have been signaled and orders have been instructed throughout all available speakers and radios throughout the city.
"Proceed to the National City Police Department, food, medical attention, and shelter will be provided." The voice continues on an endless loop.
While the massive dilemma has been sudden and unexpected, defenses have been organized and constructive rescue operations have been set to motion to save trapped survivors in high-density enemy positions.

"How could this have happened…"
The Flash muttered the words as he looked at the hundreds of injured that surrounded the Police Station – filling up the streets as well as the residences to nearby shops and buildings.
Meanwhile, as members of the Justice League were too captivated by the destructions and harm that have been dealt to the innocent people, Batman strolled along to the inside of National City Police Department.
"Superman, any clue where Supergirl is?"
Wonder Woman questioned the presence of the Superhero of the city, as she continues to judge the masses who were groaning in pain and others resting where they lay.
"I am not sure either, I can't seem to catch a hold on her too. But I am more worried that she isn't here when we arrived."
The 3 Justice League core members conversed as Batman took the lead upfront.
"Save your worries for later, for now we need to cooperate with the city's police to organize and pinpoint entrapped survivors."
Batman ended the conversation as they were faced with the Chief of Police.

"That concludes the meeting. Flash, search and rescue survivors from the outer parts before moving into those closest to the station. Make it fast, because it's apparent those androids aren't stopping to take rests. Meanwhile, Superman and Wonder Woman will be assisting the officers, and fire-fighters in rescuing and keeping those androids at bay."
However, just as the Justice League was about to move out to do their task. Flash had a question to ask. "And what would you be doing?"
"Tracking Indigo" Batman said little, but his intention spoke volumes as he looked at Superman. 'Find my cousin, Bruce.'

Meanwhile…
As the infiltration operation proceeded, the unit split to pursue their orders, with Alex's team consisting of the Death Korps Guardsmen to journey through the abandoned and caved-in state of the factory. As Sandra's team accompanied by Lieutenant Nick scoured the outer perimeter before falling in with the unit that went in ahead.

Into the depths of the large industrial complex, the team delved deeper into the corroded, collapsing structure – with its floors leaking and wet – as well as debris and rubbles that blocked and hindered their paths.
In their subtle approach through the maze-like layout of twists and turns, the sounds within have been deafening – with only the sounds that were produced being of their own making – which only heightened the Director's guard for an anticipated ambush on their location.
However, aside from the impending danger that may loom. The building has been shrouded in harmful gas, mostly resulting from the growing mold over the years.
Overwhelmed with too much mold, the Director paused for a moment to fix a compactible respirator as she equipped it. 'Am I glad I brought this along'
"What?" Alex quietly asked as she noticed the korpsmen staring. 'Oh right, they might be fascinated by the thing I'm using'
"It is a respirator mask, though it only partially covers the face as you can see." But despite her explanation, the korpsmen remained idle in their stares at the equipment. "Anyways, let's continue on-"
Just as she had done speaking, the Watchmaster pulled the Director by the strap of the bulletproof vest; saving Alex just moments before a beaming light struck where the Director would have been.
Not soon later, a mixture of lead and weaponized beams shot at them, forcing the unit to move for cover. 'Damn has Indigo also been manufacturing pulverizer weaponry?!' She cursed the cyborg terrorist as she stood from her cover and returned fire along with the guardsmen.
However, amidst the gunfight, the Grenadier was itching as just as he was confused. 'Shouldn't a charge be effective this moment?' He questioned as he gave a brief glance to look to the Watchmaster – but there was no indication such order will be raised.
The Grenadier felt odd at the sudden change of battle tactics, especially since their arrival. That it was unusual and not anything familiar to the trench's warfare and in general fighting.
The Korpsman even questioned the situation – as to why the guardsman as he was even hiding – instead of bluntly storming the enemy. The Grenadier wondered, before he was lifted from his thoughts as orders to relocate have been ordered. An order fortunately not seen nor noticed as traces of cowardly and desertion to abandon the mission, by the Korpsman. But definitely noted.

Successful in their evasion to lose their pursuer, Alex took a breather as she took respite at the fact before she checked on with the korpsmen who took guard at the entryway. "Anyone shot or wounded?" to which an instant response was received as both stated.
Turning her attention to the radio that has been strapped to the kevlar's vest shoulder pad, she spoke "Status report" and a bleep sounded as she let go of the button to receive the other's transmit. "Outer perimeter is clear. Heard some stuff going wild on the inside, is everything good?" Sandra's voice emitted.
"All is good, and be cautious, these androids appear to be capable of nesting an ambush. So find another way in."
"Copy that, moving. Over and out." Then the line went static.
As Nick had eavesdropped, he then questioned based on what he had heard. "So, an alternate way in huh." The man said in a wondering tone, yet he had a sparkle that lit within his eyes. "Just as you heard, now let's move it. We need to find another way in unless we want to get ambushed-"
Then by the sight, as she looked to meet Nick's gaze, there presented as a gift – were demolition charges – as the man locked eyes with the woman with a wicked grin. "Urgh, honestly why did I not expect this?"
"Because I never let you suspect it, lieutenant." He mocked as he places them on the wall. "By the way, in case you don't know it is best to cover your ears-"
"I know Nick! Just detonate it already!" and in a reply to the woman's outburst he replied in a single word; "Breaching!"

As the wall crumbled and rubbles paved a new path, the soldiers poured in as the front-man took point; Sandra, as both the lieutenant moved in as swiftly as possible.
Continuing further in the claustrophobic environmental state, it was no later when the foggy and dusty atmosphere forced them to pause for a moment to fix their gas masks on. "Damn for a second I would have thought that this was poisonous gas since I could hardly breathe!" Nick exclaimed as he got his on and strapped.
"Shh"
In the quiet situation, the eerie silence was enough to radiate an amount that they were being watched.
