The Main Council

52: The Main Council

Lara studied herself in front of the mirror. Her vision overlapping with the face of the girl in the painting.

Red eyes.

A cold, ruthless expression.

Every detail was there, the image of the girl covered in blood. The same one her father painted before hiding it away from everyone- away from her.

Lara felt like she always knew- deep down- that her father was hiding something from her. And she couldn't make herself forget about it. She wanted to ask her father; what the hell that painting actually meant to him and why did he make it.

But it appears that those questions are going to be for later.

Lara tucked a stray strand of her hair behind her ear. Wow, they really look exactly alike.
