Mysterious Little Things!

The venue went mad as I planned. It wasn't hard to guess the audience's thoughts from the faces they were making.

"What is the particle he mentioned? How can there be something that lets us breathe and fuel the fire? I can't understand!"

"Beats me too. I never heard such a thing in my 200 years of life."

"It was right to let our children sign up for this school. I knew Miles wouldn't deceive us."

"Wait a minute!" As the people were amazed and surprised, there was someone who wanted to challenge me. "How can be sure that what that old man displayed is truth and not an act you two come up with?" Morgante asked from his seat.

"What do you mean an act? I am a respected person who lived with dignity. I will not let a shoat to accuse me of lying!" The elderly man who belongs to the Amphibian Race wasn't kind with his words. Amphibians were an extensive race. Frog to a salamander, snakes to dragons were mostly from this race.

"A Salamander talks about honesty, meh!" Morgante shot back with more vicious words.

"Young Master Morgante, you have been warned once before, but let me remind you. In Master Miles's presence, you cannot insult anyone with their races or traits. If I hear it once again, I will act accordingly!" Starisk spat out with killing intent that made Morgante's back cold.

"He is too young, so let's forgive him once again," I said and looked at the brilliant elite of Plus Church. "Why don't you try it yourself?" I asked Morgante.

"I don't have a fire element! How can I try myself?" He said disdainfully.

"Morgante, as a genius you should know that even without a fire element, you can carry fire with you. Or your title is just a vanity?" I answered back without any mercy. I signaled and a torch brought from the back. Morgante didn't say anything and walked to the stage.

"I will show everyone your tricks!" He said, but he wasn't so certain now that I allowed him to try. He took the torch inside the small room and looked at me. I locked the door myself this time and sucked out the oxygen once again. As soon as oxygen vanished, the flame died down. Morgante also grabbed his neck. I leveled my hand down and he remembered to use his element. He used a strange element that allowed his eyes to change into something else, and his pupils moved all-around around the room, searching for something. But after a while, it fixed on me.

His eyes dilated, his face turning blue. As a strong warrior, he could hold on without oxygen for a long time. But I didn't just suck out the oxygen like I did when Old Man walked in. I also sucked dry the oxygen in his lungs. He started to suffocate and looked at me viciously. He was too proud to beg for me to open the door, but I was cruel enough to let him suffer. After a while, he fell on his knees, and his pride vanished. He started to hit the transparent walls.

I let him out and said to him, "Sorry, I thought as a strong warrior, you could hold on for some time. Obviously, I overestimated you. I was petty. Of course, I would let him suffer.

He could only hyperventilate and look at me with hatred, but I moved on from this amateur child.

"As you all see, science is a wonderful tool that can allow you to understand the elements and universe." But even as I was speaking, all the fire element cultivators were leveling up because of the insight I imparted them. At the end of my speech, almost everyone in the venue was looking at me with worship.

"I proudly declare the opening of the first Bright Minds School!" I said, and people went crazy. Whistles and applauds were ear-deafening. People rose to their feet and called my name. They were all excited to learn more, but unfortunately, the school was for kids only. Children have taken to the exam room to be evaluated. They would be placed in different classes depending on their 'capacity.'

After dealing with all of this, I returned to the Information Trove to continue my studies. I was progressing fairly quickly, and my rune casting speed was increasing day by day. It wouldn't take long for me to catch up with my skill casting speed. Unfortunately, I was way behind Dalia, who could cast hundreds of runes in a second. But she was probably hundreds of years old, spent most of her time on the subject. So, my progress was still fairly quick.

After working for more than 6 hours, I left for a visit to my girls. It had been a long time since I visited them, and I missed them very much. I wasn't the best boyfriend, but still, I always tried to make time for them. They also were understanding. Thus, we were getting along.

I walked in from the front door and climb up to their room. When I opened the door, girls were all standing over something, discussing concentrated. I listened to their conversation and heard a few keywords worried me.

"I heard her name is Dalia!" Yvla said.

"She is so beautiful. Like a goddess." Desideria said with envy.

"What if Desmond leaves us for her?" Demetra was about to cry.

"No, we should make him remember us, no matter what! I can't go back to loneliness. I have a space I cannot fill without Desmond!" Yvla said with vigor while she pointed her lower abdomen. She had hidden lust in her eyes.

'These girls.' I shake my head as I approached them. Yvla was the most lechering one among the three. It was surprising but also not. He was of a Canid Race, and they were the most open with their sexuality.

"Ehem!" I coughed, and three of them jumped from where they were sitting.

"Desmond!" x3
