Slit throat

Sam could not think of anything else but give him a call. As expected he did not pick up the phone. 

"This guy! Is he trying to do something like he did in the case of Disha Gill? " Sam thought to herself. She tried to call him again but he did not pick up the phone. 

Sam waited for a while outside her apartment in case he returned or called her back but that never happened. 

"He must be busy with some work. Maybe something related to his company? " Mon suggested it when asked by her friend. 

"Oh yeah. That must be the case. '' Sam hung up with a sheepish smile on her face. It's weird how Sam totally forgot about his company. Now it doesn't feel like he works for a company as well because he spends so much of his time in the Criminal Investigation Department.
