Zeng Wu looked around at the utter despair that everyone was in and sighed. He didn't have any children, nor anyone else to go back home to.

His home was where his father was. He was his hero, his commander. He had followed him to many difficult battlefields and come out victorious, but it seemed like this was it.

"F..father.." he mumbled weakly looking at Zeng Yu's hunched back. That back that could hold up the entire sky now seemed so old.

'Father, why didn't you breakthrough to the Profound realm? You could have done so a decade ago, but you didn't, for your weak son. Because you were worried I wouldn't be able to take care of myself. So you kept taking one assignment after another, never giving any time to yourself. All for me?'

Zeng Wu's knees bent as he kowtowed on the ground.
