"Huwag matigas ang ulo mo. Take a rest. Tinawagan ko na sila Julius. They are on their way. Baka mamaya dahil sa katigasan ng ulo mo. Magalit pa sa akin ang inaanak ko.." Bilin pa muli niya dito.

"Where's your office? Shall we get started?" He cuts her off instead at nag lakad diretso sa loob ng kompanya.

"W.. What a.. are you doing? H.. Hindi mo ba ako na intindihan? I.. I said you can leave.." Habol niya dito habang ito ay naglalakad.

"I will be your temporary secretary. If you want me to leave that much then, we should finish everything as soon as possible. So, I can leave early as you wanted.." He said to her while smiling.

"A.. Are you sure you can do this? You're the CEO of your comp--

"Rence.. Relax.. Did you forget who I am?" Naka ngiti nitong tanong sa kanya.

"B.. But---

"I am a genius. So, I can manage." Pagyayabang pa nito.

"You don't have to remind me.. Ang yabang mo talaga.." Na iinis niyang irap dito at sumakay na sa elevator.

"Basta ba you'll be providing me 3 meals a day at hindi ikaw ang magluluto.." Biro pa nito sa kanya.

"Shut up.." She hissed at her.

"Ang g.. guwapo naman niya.. Saang department kaya siya?" She heard one of her employee from the back said.

"Oo nga.. ngayon ko lang yata siya nakita." Dagdag pa ng isang babae na kinikilig pa.

At sa inis niya ay pinukol niya ang mga ito ng tingin. What the hell did they think they're saying?

"N... Naku.. Si Ms. Legaspi p.. pala ang nasa h.. harapan." Tila gulat na sabi nito ng am kilala siya.

"Oo n..nga.. Good morning po, Ms. President." Bawi naman ng isa.

"D.. Dito na lang po kami.. T.. Tara na, Suzy.." Hila nito agad sa kasama at bumaba na ng elevator.

"This is Rihanna's desk and this.. will be my office.." She said to him and she let him in her office.

"There's a mini ref at the right side with the coffee machine and a rest room in the left side.." Introduction niya dito. Tila naman ikinakabisado nito ang bawat sulok ng kanyang opisina.

"No, I refused. I want to be next to you. Can you just get me another laptop?" Tanggi nito sa kanya.

"You are so, demanding more than ever." Reklamo niya dito.

"Don't you have a morning briefing?" Tanong naman nito sa kanya.

"It's already done. I missed the meeting. And who's fault is that?" Pukol niya dito.

"Nag sorry na nga ako di' ba? So, what should I do first?" Tanong nito.

"You don't have to worry too much. I will be doing everything. I just n..need your help to summarize the survey we'll be conducting, later.." She said to him so he'll be at ease.

"H.. How should I say this.. Ahm.. What I want to show in the proposal is about to increase of corse our sales.. That's what I wanted the most.. I want to build a strong marketing strategy.."

"And in order to do that I need to go to our different branches so, I can see myself what I need to improve and what are their strong points that I should focus.."

"So, this is basically more about research.." Paliwanag niya dito.

"And how many malls do you have to check?" He asked at her.

"Not much.. It was just 5 malls. One in Manila North, one in Pasay, another one in Nueva Ecija, the other is in Ilocos Norte and one in Cebu.." Sagot niya naman dito.

"Huh? That many?" Gulat na bulalas nito.

"No worries. Rihanna and my special team had done the Manila branches. Kaya tatlo na lang naman ang ating kailangan puntahan.."

"Grab the laptop so, we can get started." Utos niya dito at nag pati una ng lumabas sa opisina.

"Where are we going?"

"Of corse, we'll going to go to Nueva Ecija first. Tutal iyon naman ang pinaka malapit.." Naka ngiti niyang sabi dito.

"But, why are we going to the rooftop?" Muling tanong nito.

"Do you think I'll waste my time just because it is traffic?" Naka ngiti niyang sabi dito at nag pati una ng sumakay sa private chopper niya.

"This is the charisma that I like about you.." Na pa ngiti na lang din na sabi nito sa kanya at sumakay na.

"I think it might take only around one hour to 45 minutes until we get there.." Sabi niya dito at kinabit ang kanyang seat belt.

"It's fine as long as I'm with you." He said with a smile at her.

"Don't say things like that. Look the pilots are blushing.." Na iiling niyang sabi dito.

"I didn't expect a mall to have a helipad.." Narinig niyang komento nito bago sila bumaba ng helicopter.

"It's always good to be prepared.." She said coolly to him.

"Magandang araw po Ms. Legaspi. I'm Nolan Libero the chief manager of Prime Mall Nueve Ecija." Pa kilala ng isang lalaki sa kanya na sa tantiya niya ay nasa mid fourties na.

"Nice to meet you Mr. Libero. Sorry, for not noticing you for coming. By the way this is Mr. Woodman at my side." Pa kilala niya kay Rey dito at ngumiti lang naman ito.

"One question Mr. Libero. Where is the way going to the Mall?" She asked at him.

"At this side po." Turo nito sa gawing kanan nito.

"Okay, thanks. You're dismissed." She said with a smile at him.

"P.. Po?" Na guguluhan nitong tanong.

"What she meant was. We'll be fine in our own.." Rey translated it for him.

"Rey, c'mon. We're running late." Tawag niya dito at mabilis itong sumunod sa kanya.

"You are so, clingy sweetheart." Biro nito sa kanya.

"It was somewhat different here.." Naka kunot noo niyang sabi dito after they come to the 4th floor. This floor is where the cinema and arcade are.

"This is consider a province still, right?" Sabi ni Rey sa kanya.

"Yeah, I think we have a lot of things to re- build here." Tango niya dito.

"But, before that. Don't you think we are too formal here?" Sabi niya dito na tinutukoy ang kanilang suot.

Rey was in coat and tie. And she was wearing also almost the same. While most of the people there were just wearing jeans, shorts and t- shirt.

The mall had a lot of people but, at the same time you can sense this is really a province.

"We look like we're gonna have a job interview today." Na tatawa nitong sang ayon sa kanya.

"Let's go, shopping first." Yaya niya dito at nag punta sila sa department store.

"Good Morning po, Ma'am. How may I help you po?" Salubong sa kanila ng sales lady.

"We need casuals." 'Tipid niyang sabi dito ngunit na pansin niya naman na naka titig lang ito kay Rey.

"Miss, I said casuals." Ulit niya dito at tila doon pa lang ito na tauhan.

"D.. Dito po.." Mabilis na sabi nito sa kanya and she guide them.

"Should I fired her?" Tanong niya sa sarili.

"Hey, don't be too strict. Hindi niya kasalanan ma pa nganga dahil sa kaguwapuhan ko.." Pagyayabang nito sa kanya.

"Did you ever get fired in your first day?" She hissed at him and he just laughed.

"No more pants for you Rey. It is too hot here so, try this, this, this and this." Saway niya dito at inabot ang iba't ibang kulay ng shorts dito at iba't ibang klase ng casual tops dito.

"Sweetheart, aren't I too old for this?" Na hihiya nitong sabi ng lumabas ito ng fitting room.

He was wearing a plane blue short na hanggang tuhod ang haba and a round gray t- shirt in white sneakers.

Hindi niya na pigilan na ma pa tulala dahil he looks more handsome now than before. He looks like a handsome boy next door. She heard a lot of women giggled from her back.

"Rence.. Rence.." Tawag nito sa kanya.

"W.. What?"

"You are spacing out. I'm asking you how do I look? Hindi ba masyadong pang teenager ito?" Tanong muli nito sa kanya.

"Naku, S.. Sir.. hindi po. Ang guwapo niyo po." The sales lady answered for her instead.

"Totoo ba Rence?" Kulit nito sa kanya.

"Because your opinion is the most important for me.." He really is fishing for compliment.

"Very. okay na?" She said while rolling her yes. This moron's smile can really makes her surrender. Should she buy some mask for him to cover his face?

"We will take all of that and he'll be wearing that." She said to the sales lady.

"Sweetheart, I.. I don't think I will be needing that. Isa pa this is all—

"I think this will be better." Sabi nito at inabot sa kanya ang isang light pink na t-shirt na may kahabaan ang manggas and a white tokong shorts.

"No. It's hot here so, I'll wear it in shorts." Na iinis niyang sabi dito at nag bihis na.

"Why do you always like me to wear pink?" Reklamo niya dito matapos lumabas sa fitting room. She was wearing the T- shirt he gave her in white shorts and sneakers.

"Shut up and grab a basket for us." Utos niya na lang dito at sumunod naman ito.

"Why are you so, focused in shopping? Aren't you supposed to check?" Tanong nito sa kanya when she was in women's section again.

"I am checking. Our malls is build since almost 40 years ago. And this branch probably needs some changes. Like 3rd floor should all be only for arcade, cinemas and I will add playground on it for the kids.."

"I will remove the few hardware shops because it were inappropriate. And instead I will replace it food outlets so, after being drained by gaming they can grab some food easily instead of going all the way down again.."

"You really are amazing. We haven't here for an hour but, you have a lot of things in your mind.."

"Well, I cannot suck up because I have a lot of employees to pay.." Naka ngiti niya lang sagot dito.

"Is that part of your survey?" Tanong nito ng ma pansin nito na pa rami na ang kanyang binili.

"I just want to buy Nana, Rihanna and Tanya some stuffs before I go back to LA." She said at him.

"I didn't know you have this sweet side." Tukso nito sa kanya.

"You should worry about yourself Rey. Because you will be the one carrying these." Naka ngiti niyang balik dito at na bura naman ang ngiti nito sa labi.

"Ano kaya pa?" Naka ngiti niyang tanong dito while he was carrying all the things she bought.

"Can you walk a bit slowly?" Reklamo nito.

"I do am walking slowly. What do you want to eat? We just have fast food here. It's passed 2pm already." Tanong niya dito.

"Anything's fine with me."

"Then, let's grab some food here. Pizza and lasagna would be okay." Yaya niya dito sa pinaka unang fast food na dinaanan nila.

"Two lasagna, blueberry cake, thin crust pizza, fries and soda please." Order niya sa waiter.

"Can we eat all that?" Naka kunot noo nitong tanong.

"Yep. You need strength. Hindi pa tayo tapos mamili." Biro niya dito.

"What?!" Gulat na bulalas nito at hindi niya na pigilan na tumawa ng malakas.

"If we are not here for business. I think this is not bad for a date." Naka ngiti nitong sabi habang sila ay kumakain.

"Yeah. Who've taught you will be a good PA." Tukso niya dito.

"PA? That's a bit rude. I'm too handsome to be a PA only." Reklamo nito.

"Handsome? Na saan?" Tukso niya muli dito na tila hindi ito narinig.

"C'mon, I'm joking. Sige na guwapo ka na kung guwapo." Na pipilitin niyang sabi dito.

"Hindi naman pilit na pilit 'yan?" Pilosopo nitong sita sa kanya.

"Huwag kang mag alala medyo lang." Na tatawa niyang sabi dito na ikina tawa nito. They are both tired yet thankfully both of their mood hasn't died up. And she kinda like it because it was casual yet warm.

"But, come to think of it sweetheart. We haven't gone in a official date aren't we?" Sabi nitong bigla sa kanya na ikina gulat niya. What the hell is he saying now?

"You are calling me sweetheart again." Sita niya dito.

"Sorry, bad habit." Naka ngiti nitong sabi sa kanya.

"D.. Date? I think we had our date before.." Pagtatama niya dito and he was frozen. Because he didn't expect her to answer it.

"Nope, we didn't.." Sagot agad nito.

"Silly, we did. Remember I asked you for a movie before? Kaya hindi ako puwede magkamali.." Pagtatama niyang muli dito.

She knows that because she was the only person who's been setting up a date for both of them dahil napaka bagal nitong dumiskarte.

"You did asked me for a date and I'm remembering that I even dressed up nicely at nag dala pa ako ng roses. Pero trust me, we did not go on date that night.." Pagpapaalala nito sa kanya.

Why does she don't remember that? Well, most of the past hindi niya naman talaga maalala. Theo's Ate said it was natural because of her trauma before but, it will be back soon depending on her mind condition.

"Because, something came up at kailangan mo tapusin ang report para sa kompanya. Kaya we had a date instead in your room." Ngisi nito sa kanya.

"D.. Did we do something?" Hindi niya mapigilan na tanong dito.

Hindi niya alam kung bakit ngunit hindi niya ma ipaliwanag ang kanyang nararamdaman sa tuwing tatawa ito.

And seriously, she is a good Chairwoman as he though her to be. She have a lot of creative ideas in seconds.

"You mean four weirdos. Hindi ba kaibigan mo din sila?" Na tatawa niyang tukso dito.

"They're asking me to join them. But, I decline. Baka mahawa ako." Biro nito sa kanya na ikina tawa niya.

"If there's something that can stop time. I'll do everything to make the clock stop." May himig niyang pait na sabi dito.

"You're a genius. So, why not think something? Who knows? Baka mas matalino ka pa pala kay Leo Da Vinci." Biro nito sa kanya muli.

"That's the third time you've said that. It was almost 9pm. We haven't had dinner.." Sermon nito sa kanya.

"Rey, you supposed to be my secretary. Kaya don't nag too much." Saway niya dito.

"Alam ko. I'm hungry too. Can you just order some take out?" Utos niya na lang dito.

"Let's have paella, roasted beef and mango cake." Order niya dito.

"Alright. I'll call at Ten's restaurant. They served one of the best paellas here." Sabi nito at tumawag na ito.

She was so, sleepy and tired at the same time pero hindi niya na pigilan ang ma pa ngiti dahil kahit anong utos niya kay Rey ay hindi man lang niya ito narinig na nag reklamo man lang kahit isang beses.

"I'm g.. gonna miss this.." Ma pait niyang sabi habang tinititigan ng malungkot ang likod nito.

"N.. Nothing.. I just asked how many minutes will it t..take?" She lied at him.

"They said less than 20 min. Para saan pa at kaibigan ko ang may ari." Naka ngiti nitong pagyayabang.

"Y.. Yabang.." Na tatawa niyang sabi.

"I.. Is that origami?" Tanong nito sa kanya ng ma pansin ang mga origami na naka display sa malalaking jar sa tapat ng bintana.

"You know what are those?" Naka kunot noo niyang tanong.

"Yeah, siyempre naman. That's famous in Japan. They've said if you make 1000 origami. It can grant your—

"Wish. Yeah, I've heard about it from Rihanna.. But, why will you make those for a wish instead of taking action yourself?" Nalilito niyang tanong dito at na pansin niya na biglang lumungkot ang expression ng mukha nito.

"Because, there are times that action will not be enough anymore so, relaying to a wish gives them hope." Malalim na paliwanag nito na lalo niyang ikina lito.

"That's too poetic for an explanation." She can't help but says.

"Is it? But, w.. where did you g..get that? W.. Who gave you that?" Usisa nito sa kanya.

"Hmmm. Honestly, I don't know who send it." Sagot niya dito.

"D.. Don't you have even a b.. bit of idea who send it?" Kulit pa nito. Sepaking of that weird suitor.

"Yeah, I have no idea at all. The truth was I have s.. some kind of weird suitor. Who kept sending me weird bunch of things..." Kuwento niya dito dahil baka ma solve nito ang secret identity ng weirdo niyang suitor.

"I mean the things were not the weird I'm referring to but the weird number of it.. Okay, I think I'm the one being weird because of my story.." Maging siya ay nalito na sa sariling pagku- kuwento.

"Few days after I go back from LA, there was this weird guy who sent me roses in my office early in the morning.." Sa wakas ay short ngunit buod na umipisa dito.

"What's weird about it? That's the usual gesture of a guy who wants to court a girl, right?" Balik nito sa kanya.

"Hindi pa ako tapos. I call him weird because.. If he is a normal person he will never sent a hundre— No, I mean a thousand of different roses in different styles in my office.. As in wala talaga akong ma daanan. Can you imagine?" She shared at him.

"M.. May be, he just don't know what type of roses you like kaya binigyan niya lahat ng klase.." Paliwanag nito sa kanya.

"That's also what he said in the letter. But, Jesus one time shock is enough. Pero hindi. He actually sent me next day a bunch of chocolates as in a lot of it. I actually still have some of it.." Dagdag pa niyang kuwento dito.

Kiinuha sa drawer ang isang pack ng kisses at ipina kita dito. Na gulat naman siya dahil bigla itong ngumiti. What's that for? She can sense something is not right.

"So, you like kisses?" Naka ngiti pa din nitong sabi sa kanya.

"Y.. Yeah. There are hundreds of chocolates that he sent ito nga lang ang kinuha ko dahil gusto niya yata akong mabungi or tuluyan na mawalan ng ngipin dahil sa dami ng pinadala niya.." Na iinis pa niyang sabi dito ng maalala ang eksena na iyon.

"Ha- ha- ha, grabe ka naman. Why would he want the one he likes to be toothless? May be, he just don't know what kind of chocolate you preferred.." Na tatawa nitong saway sa kanya. Why is he laughing?

"And may be he was not used in sending or even courting a woman. But, at the very least, he somehow got it right na kisses ang gusto mo dahil sa dami ng pinadala niya.." He explained at her.

"That's also what he've said in the l..letter.." Nagtataka niyang sabi dito. How did he know that? or Nagkataon lang naman.

"B.. But, I'm a bit curious. Which roses did you pick from the thousand he sent?" Curious nitong tanong sa kanya.

"T.. The green one's. Sagot niya dito.

"W.. Why is that? I thought most women like red roses. That's rather unexpected from you." Usisa nito.

"Because, green roses symbolizes loyalty. Well, it is indeed unexpected from me to choose it. But, may be a part of me still hopes that there are still loyal people out there even though I'm always betrayed.." She said in a bit of bitterness.

"Now, you've become poetic too.." Komento nito sa kanya.

"But, there's something I don't get from his letters. He always say sorry and in his last letter.. What does he meant from accept my sincerity and I should believe in him?" Hindi niya muli ma pigilan na sabi dito.

"Well, I guess he was weird after all." Sang ayon niya na lamang sa sarili.

"Is that a.. all he sent?" Tanong muli nito sa kanya.

"Yep. And the origami wass the last gift he sent me. I also asked Rihanna if she received anything while I was on vacation ang sabi niya naman wala daw.. at luckily hanggang ngayon wala pa din siyang pinapadala.." Sagot niya dito.

"May be, it was just a prank. Come on, who's in the right mind will sent a thousand of roses in early mor..ning i.. in the first place?" She's having a hunch who sent it.

"Come to think of it. He suddenly did not send me last time when I was in vacation. And also until this time. W.. Why? because he was with me at that time. At ayaw niyang malaman ko.." She reasoned it out.

Na pa tigil naman siya sa pagta type at ganoon din ito dahil sa pagka bigla.

"A.. Are you the weird suitor?" Naka kunot noo niyang tanong dito at tinitigan ito.

"W.. What are you s— Bigla naman may kumatok sa pinto nila kaya hindi nito na tapos ang sasabihin.

Oh! The weird suitor. Aamin na ba siya?

For all the people who've been asking if why do this story is a bit long.

The answer is simple.

This was supposed to be the Book 2.

And I just continued the story in the same title.

All of my stories had a lot of chapters.

Why? Because I want all my readers to taste and to feel what my characters are as if they know them closely.
