I honestly don't know if this is a mere coincidence or so called destiny that Nadine's path and I keeps on colliding for the past twelve years. No matter how far we wonder in this world. Somehow in the most unexpected time, our eyes would land on each other and linger just a few seconds. But surprisingly, no matter how many years had passed her face remained the same. During my high school days, I was in the zoo with my classmates, I saw her standing a few meters from me, and I knew it was her taking pictures of animals with a red ribbon tide to her hair. I walked then ran toward her, but someone stood in my way and suddenly when I looked back at where she was standing, she was gone. My eyes wandered everywhere, I saw the red ribbon flying in the air. I ran for it and grabbed it. I stared at it and knew she was here. My heart sank, I really wanted to talk to her. I held on the red ribbon tightly and scanned the area, hoping to find her one last time before heading back to my classmates, but she wasn't there. The last time I saw her when I was in college, having my practicum in a popular newspaper in New York. I was in a press conference in. Suddenly, while the conference was about to begin, my heart pounded in my chest when I saw Nadine standing in the corner, she is wearing a black dress. My eyes widen when I saw her gazing back at me, and smiling. I blinked a few times hoping I wasn't hallucinating, it was really her. I quickly pushed my way through the crowd not taking my eyes off of her, but she looked away and left from where she was standing. I double my pace not wanting to lose her again. I saw her leaving the area. I tripled my pace and I grabbed her arm and tightly held on, not wanting to let go. But as soon as she turned her head around. It was one of the anchors in the network. I felt myself blush and quickly let go of her. I apologized in embarrassment.
