Siblings for a reason

Noah chuckled as his eye moved around Kaycee and her smile, but stopped as he noticed his pendant on Kaycee's neck.

He was confused. He was very sure that he wore it when he was kidnapped but later, he lost it somehow.

He looked at the pendant as he turned around to stand in front of Kaycee, blocking her way.

Kaycee stopped on her way, confused. She could see Noah looking at her pendant.

Kaycee noticed it and looked at him with curiosity.

"Hold on, how did you get this?

It was with me when I was kidnapped and locked up by the kidnapper.

I swear to god I wore it. I remember looking at my face through it that day when I was sad, thinking you were dead. But how?"

Noah was so very confused as he stared at the pendant, and also remembered what Stephanie asked him that day. "Does Kaycee own an emerald pendant?"

Kaycee walked closer to Noah and said, "I wanted to say something about this to you, but I don't know how to make you believe me.
