Zane had no idea that someone was using his future affections to deceive a little fool, right now his entire focus was using said affection to deceive the woman in front of him.

His legs were pulled together and tilted slightly to the right. It was very uncomfortable but he had to endure through it. This heaven-forsaken elegant way of sitting down.

"Your resume is impressive. You have been a nanny for ten years now. Why did you choose this kind of work that is seldom appreciated?" Isabel pulled down her glasses to look at the elegant woman sitting opposite her.

The lady wore a simple emerald green dress that was tastefully adorned with subtle details. The dress, gently cinched at her waist, completing her figure while a pair of silver earrings finished the look.

She looked like one who had spent all her years with the Empire's nobility but surprisingly enough this did not create any distance or aura of superiority.
