An unexpected guest

Zane woke up early that morning and sighed loudly. Another day, again. It had been two days since he left the ruin and since he met Xavier in the Administration Department and things had not gotten better at all. The communications have been restored and all the students have been evacuated from the Ruin. Yesterday, the school held a mass burial for the twenty-three students who had perished in the ruin, while giving a speech about the importance of strength and the dangers of the world that they lived in.

Zane had attended the burial until the end before he rushed home and checked the online forum. When he had not seen a mention of Phoenix online, he had let out a sigh of relief.
