You Are Safe With Me

Jace's POV

I don't want to leave Miracle on her bed, I wanted to stay with her, I love the feeling of having her in my arms. But my shift is over, I don't want to be caught by anyone lying with her on her soft bed. It was Miracle who asked me to sleep beside her, but how can I explain it, if someone sees us in that very intimate situation.

I slowly take her hands that wrapped around my body, I don't want to wake her up. She looks like an angel, sleeping peacefully, I am glad that her nightmare didn't return, she gets back to sleep soundly. While my heart beating irregularly, having her body next to mine, covered with a very thin material of clothing drives me crazy. Her warm body keeps my whole being alive, I wanted to savor her lips once again, but I tried my best to resist temptation, yet I kissed her forehead and stroked her shiny beautiful hair.

I left her room silently, then I peeped in the door before I finally come out, I don't want to be fired by Mr. White, her daughter put me in a very dangerous situation, I don't know why I easily give in to her request to lie in bed with her. I keep on turning in my bed, I need to sleep, but the image of Miracle lying beside me is keeping me wide awake.

I am eating my late lunch, I find the whole mansion so quiet, I just wanted to have a glimpse of her face, but I can't see her anywhere in the house. Jimmy informed me that she left for the training facility, which explained why I heard the roaring of the helicopter early this morning. I thought it was Mr. White, who arrived. I don't know why I suddenly feel an emptiness within me, I wasn't able to go back to sleep, I spend the rest of the day in the gym.

The silence of the night makes me miss her more, all I can see are the guards on duty. I was given Jimmy a manual, he then told me that Miracle chose me to be her bodyguard during her On the Job training of one of her father's companies. I sighed, I am excited and worried at the same time. Seeing Mira every day would be very difficult for me. The White Group of Companies is one of the most popular in the whole country.

I am standing outside near the swimming pool when I heard the sound of an approaching helicopter, it is past midnight, could it be Mira? I just stayed where I was until the loud noise stopped, I felt my heart pounding, I was just thinking to see her lovely face, yet I can feel the sweat on my forehead, what is wrong with me.

"Hey! Jace Ms. White is looking for you, she is asking why you are not in your post at this hour?" Charles said, he is only wearing jeans and a gray T-shirt, just like me only the difference is the color of my white shirt that perfectly fits on my muscular body.

"I thought you would spend the night there in the training camp, how come you come back past midnight?" I said, looking at his face.

"I don't know what happened, Chris was inside the house when he heard Miracle screaming in the middle of the night, that made him so nervous," Charles explained. I suddenly feel worried about her, I want to tell Charles about her nightmares, but Mr. White and Miracle don't want anyone to know about it.

"Maybe she has a bad dream, Charles." I said, and I turn around to go to the second floor of the house, Charles is walking beside me.

"I guessed, but when we come to her room, she shouted and asked us to leave, she was crying terribly, I wanted to come near her, but she doesn't want anyone to be close to her, we don't have a choice, but we left her alone, then Mr. Roger informed us after an hour, that Ms. Miracle wanted to come home." He said, looking confused.

"Thank you, Charles!" I said, then I sprinted in going inside the house, I take two steps at a time when I reached the grand stairs, I am panting when I reached her room, I knocked softly.

"Come in!" I heard she said, I open the door gently, then I saw her standing in front of her window, she is facing the swimming pool, she must have seen me talking with Charles. I just stand there looking at her silhouetted figure, then she slowly turned around, I am surprised when she comes running to me. She embraced me tightly, my heart is shouting for joy.

"Jace!" She said my name, I felt like I am floating, I embraced her and kneaded her back, I am glad she is not crying anymore.

"Are you alright Ms. Mira?" I asked, she shakes her head.

"No!" The only word she said, I didn't push her away, I just let her hug me until she let go of me, then she sits on her bed, then she looked up at me.

"I am sorry Jace, I should not bother you, but there is something about you that I can't quite understand, I feel so secure when I am with you, you remind me of someone so close to me." She said, even though only her lampshade is giving light to her spacious room, I can clearly see her eyes, she is trying her best to hold back her tears. Who is this someone she is talking about? Does she have a boyfriend who died? I want to ask her, but I remained silent.

I want Miracle to open up to me on her own, I don't want her to think that I am so nosy. She gestures me to sit beside her, as usual, I want to resist her, but how can I say no to my boss and my heart. I hate her for a long time, but now that I have met her personally, everything has started to change.

"Jace, can you stay?" She asked me seriously.

"I don't think that is a good idea, Ms. Miracle, I am afraid I will lose my job the moment your father sees me lying in bed beside you, I don't want to lose my job." I said, looking back at her, I can see the disappointment in her eyes.

"My father will return on the following day, please Jace, you don't need to lie beside me, just stay inside my room, while I sleep." She is asking me seriously, I just nodded, then I can see the gladness in her face.

"Thank you so much, Jace, by the way, you haven't answered me about the contract, does it mean you turn down my request?" She asked me, I didn't answer immediately because I am still hesitant to meet the conditions stipulated in the contract.

"Can you tell me why you need a tutor?" I asked her, she looked at me surprised.

"I am willing to pay you, Jace, if you think the amount I offer is insufficient, I will double the contract price." She said, I can feel that she is a little annoyed with my question.

"Ms. Mira, I don't complain about the price, I just want to know why you need a dating tutorial, you are beautiful and gorgeous, I mean boys will be crazy about you, you don't need to learn anything it will just come naturally, you don't need to ask someone to tutor you." I said I was not able to control myself, I just don't understand why she has low self-confidence, she is rich and very attractive.

"Jace, if you don't want to be my tutor, then don't do it, I don't need your opinion for that matter, I still have other options, just give the contract back to me tomorrow, or you can just tear it up." She said, I can feel the hurt tone in her voice, then she suddenly lay down on her bed and turn away from me.

She doesn't want to answer my question, there is no way I will let Charles tutor Miracle, if she wants to learn from me, then I will give her love lesson tutorials for free, she doesn't need to pay me. I slowly get up from her bed and lean my back on the door. She didn't talk to me anymore, I don't want her to be angry with me again. The moment she fell into a deep sleep, I quickly get out of her room.

I descended the stairs speedily, and go to my bedroom to get the contract that she gave me, which I put under my pillow, I read the contract again, then I write additional sentences on the lower part, stating that I will agree to be her tutor for free, she doesn't need to pay me any monetary value as long as she will tell me a valid reason why she is looking for a tutor boyfriend.

I write my name and signed the contract. I get my cell phone and take a picture of the contract, I wanted to read it over and over again, I like the neat handwriting of Miracle, I am wishing that what I am holding at the moment is a love letter from her, not a contract. I get back to her room immediately, to be honest, the offer of Miracle is so tempting to lie next to her, but I am afraid that I will not be able to control myself.

She is already giving me a hard time, her charm is irresistible, that is why I am wondering why she needs a tutor. When I get back, I can see her beautiful face sleeping peacefully, I am glad that she was able to sleep. I can't help myself staring at her perfect kissable lips.

Her mouth is slightly open, her perfect, kissable lips look so inviting, again, she wears another sexy nightgown, her beautiful legs are in full display, I am just wondering if Miracle is doing all this to punish me, for what I have done during the selection of the Elite Bodyguards.

I quickly cover her seductive body with a blanket, I am sweating even though the whole room is very cold, I can't control myself, I ache for her. I need to stay away from her before I will go crazy. This is bad and I know sooner or later, I will be at her mercy. I left the contract on her dresser table, I make sure that she can read it tomorrow the moment she wakes up.

I get outside her room and I stay in the hallway near the stairs, I waited for my shift to end, and I am so glad that tomorrow is my day off, and my schedule next week will be back to normal since I will be with Miracle starting on Monday. I wanted to ask Jimmy to have another Elite Bodyguard to cover for me, but I don't want Miracle to hate me again.

I hope she will tell me the reasons for her lonely demeanor, I know behind her strong personality, she is hiding something, then I heard her scream again, I get back to her room immediately, she is sobbing, but she is still asleep, but her tears are falling on her cheeks.

"Shh, Hey! Don't cry Mira, it is alright, you are safe with me." I whispered in her ear, I tried my best to comfort her, I wiped her tears away, and I caress her arms and face, then she goes back to sleep again soundly.
