Way To Kill Plant Thing

All that was left was the dark container. In the last 20 seconds of the video the container was still bright; it had fully opened now showing off a red light. I don't if I heard it right but I heard a faint cry of pain from inside. The video stopped once all of them left the screen.

After that for 5 seconds the screen was pitch black and It turned back on. Everything else was pitch dark, there was a bright bulb that barely lit up. What I saw was the container suddenly changed to the size of a shipment container.

It looked rusty and old all over. Everything around it was gone but only a few pieces of bodies with their heads chopped off. All the heads were facing towards the container.

I looked closer to the hatch of the container. Looking closer to the bottom of the hatch there was dark red blood coming out of it and it seemed a few pieces of flattened guts were pushed out from the inside.

I heard a noise from the inside. It sounded like…crying? It was weeping inside of the container, but then the weeping stopped. Even though I was only watching the video I felt I was there right in front of the hatch of the container with the bodiless heads staring at my back.

In the front more focused than ever there was a thin opening of the hatch. I looked through the thin opening, but from what I could see it was still black. Just when I was going to look some other place instead of the inside. An eye poked out from the opening I felt I had to step back.

I realized that I was still watching the video but My legs didn't shake in any way even from fear but I was oppressed and moved back.

"Damn that was creepy. Just what the hell is going on in this world?"

I closed the files with the videos and tried clicking on the lockers file again. It showed (Residence: Level 12 Required]

"Oh it's this again."

I remembered before back then I was a hacker or you could say as a lockpicker. Since I can basically lockpick everything physically or virtually.

"Alright it's been a while since I unlocked something this difficult."

I cracked my knuckles and wiggled my fingers smiling. Lockpicking was a hobby and a job of mine so maybe that's why I was happy being able to hack something this difficult. Looking at the touchable holographic table I swiped up showing me the virtual keyboard.

*20 minutes later*

While mumbling on and on, the hologram above was showing an insane maze game.

"Where the hell is the exit!?!?"

At this point I was playing a maze game. You're wondering how I started to play a maze game right? Well while I was trying to get in I actually failed. I'm not a master hacker in anything. I just did simple things like opening up doors and files that they forgot the passwords too.

How does this have to do with the maze game? It has nothing to do with it. When I failed the screen showed a maze. It gave me 21 minutes until I escape or this whole area where I am will be alerted.

"Yes I found the exit!!!!"

The file opened but when I made it through, the timer ended at the same time. The alarm activated but it was loud. I could still hear it but it sounded muffled only alerting a short area of the building. The mutants that were close enough were screeching and screaming outside the room.

"Oh no."

The file finally opened and inside it had information about the plant thing that was covering this building. I read through it quickly and memorized as much as I could.

After memorising most of it , I headed back to Ava and Isra to tell them about what I found. As I got out of the room I saw Ava was standing in the middle beneath there were mutants and other weird things.

Isra was standing tall with the bayonet up going right through the bottom of the head of a large mutant that used to have 5 heads.

The other four heads were shot through, the scene was gory, like a the hole left by a cannon ball tearing through a human torso leaving little but a mess behind in its wake.

"Well that's a new mutant." I said.

Ava and Isra were talking.

"So that's how you and Min met." Ava says.

"I was thinking the same thing. By the way, does Min always talk like this? I had already heard from Min but I wanted to know from you." Asking Ava.

"Yes she does she-."

As they were talking about me not noticing I was there I got the feeling that I keep missing out on the actions since I entered this building.

"You two got a bit close. Are you both alright?" I said.

"We're both alright but what happened?" Isra said.

"I tried hacking into a locked file but when I got in the alarm turned pm. The good thing is the alarm didn't ring too far into the building."

"Where did all these mutants come from? We checked out most of the rooms here, right?" Ava wondered.

"I have no Idea but I found a way to kill it."
