Chapter 27

Serenity's POV

Yoongi leans over and whispers in my ear.

Yoongi: Well we could try the same plan we used when Tae crashed the wedding.

He looks at me, smirking. I blush as everyone just stares at us.

Serenity: Ummmm ok well we may have an idea.....

Mr Kim: What is it?

Yoongi: Uhhhh we have a plan.

Everyone chuckles.

Head Secretary: Well it looks like they got it all figured out.

Mr Kim: Indeed. So I guess this concludes our meeting. Yoongi, take this folder and turn it in to your school's administrative office. We'll send some bodyguards to escort you.

Yoongi: Uhh ok then I guess we'll have to have a change of plans. Guess we gotta turn this in real quick and then go see Tae.

ity: Yea.....

We get into a limo as they drive us to the school. The guards get out and let us out as students rush over to us.

Person 1: Hi! We thought you weren't coming to school today.

Person 2: HI YOONGI!

Person 3: SERENITY!! OVER HERE!!!

The guards block us from everyone and make a path as we try to maneuver our way through the crowd.

Suddenly someone throws something at me and it hits me on the head.

The guards get their guns out and point it in the direction of the object. Everyone gasps and moves aside. Lisa is standing there, smirking.

Lisa: So this is what happens when someone so much as touches you.....they get guns pointed at them.

Yoongi: What are you getting at?

Lisa: Since when did high tiers have any interests with low tiers? What would happen if something happens to Serenity?

Yoongi: Don't you dare.

Serenity: Yoongi....calm down.

Lisa grabs another rock and throws it up in her hand.

Yoongi: Throw that at Serenity one.....more...time. I dare you. Those guns better be loaded men.

Head guard: Yes sir they are.

Yoongi: good.

Serenity: Yoongi! There is no need to shoot anybody because of a rock. Lower your guns men.

The guards slowly lower their guns but still on guard with full attention.

Lisa laughs.

Lisa: Bet you never thought you would have this much power, did you? How do you feel to have the whole guard under your command? To have so much respect and order now? Cause last time I checked you were a lowlife orphan with no family besides a puny brother.

Serenity: You don't get to say anything about my brother!

Lisa: Oh and I heard Taehyung's dead.

Yoongi: Watch your mouth. He's not dead. He's hurt.

Lisa: Oh that's right. Well, to be honest, he kinda deserved it. Better him than Jungkook oppa.

Yoongi finally has had enough and he rushes forward but I stop him.

Serenity: Yoongi don't. We've wasted enough time already. We need to get going.

Lisa: Yoongi, a word of advice. Don't trust her so easily. She may seem innocent but when you're not looking, she'll turn on you.

Yoongi: That sounds like something you would do, not Serenity. I trust her, Lisa. Now try figuring out your life and leave everyone else's alone.

We walk away and head towards the office. We go in and everyone stands up.

Yoongi: Oh its fine everyone. Relax. Besides, I'm nearly just another student at this school.

He walks over to the woman at the front desk and hands her the folder.

Yoongi: From my father.

Lady: Thank you.

Serenity: We'll get going now. Have a nice day.

We walk out and I get a message on my phone.

Tae (message): Where are youuuu??

Serenity (message): Sorry! We had a change of plans. We're on our way right now.

Tae (message): Hmph!

Serenity (message): Oh be patient! We're coming!

I put my phone away and Yoongi looks at me and laughs.

Yoongi: Why? Is Tae pouting that we are a few minutes late?

I laugh

Serenity: Of course he is.

Yoongi: Oh god. Get ready to face pouty brother.

When we arrive and go into Tae's room, we see Tae with a pouty lip, waiting for us.

Tae: You're late.

Yoongi: Aww is my big brother mad we didn't make it on time?

Tae: Yes.

Yoongi laughs.

Yoongi: Well how can I make it up to you?

Tae: Soup.

Serenity: What?

Tae: Soup....

Yoongi and I look at each other and shrug.

Serenity: I guess I'll go buy some soup.

Yoongi: No its fine. Stay here. I'll go.

Serenity: You sure?

Yoongi: Yea its fine.

Serenity: Oh ok then.

After Yoongi leaves, I take a seat next to Tae.

Tae: I have to tell you something.

Serenity: Yes?

Tae: As you know, Korean men between the ages 17 and 28 must serve in the military. I.... got mine today.

Serenity: .....

Tae: I had made a decision a long time ago that I will go as soon as I am 18.

Serenity: Wait when's your birthday?

Tae:....October 14...

Serenity: OCTOBER 14TH!!!! That's only 10 days away!

Tae: I know I know. But I have to. Everyone who is eligible is going on the 30th of December and will be serving for a year and a half since we are only active duty soldiers.

Serenity: But.... you're just getting out of the hospital on the 10th...What if something happens to you when you are over there? You're still recovering .... What if you don't feel well all of a sudden too?

Tae: Serenity.....I'll be fine....don't worry.

Serenity: Who have you told?

Tae: I've told my parents and Jennie and Jimin. Now I have to tell Yoongi, oh god.

Yoongi comes in with soup and places it on the table next to Tae.

Yoongi: There you go!

Tae: haha thanks Yoongi.

Serenity: Yoongi.. we need to talk....

Yoongi: Oh umm of course.

I grab Yoongi by the hand and pull him outside.

Serenity: Yoongi.....Tae got his military letter....

Yoongi: I actually haven't been telling you something too.

Serenity: You've been hiding something from me?

Yoongi: I have received my letter too...my birthday is on November and that's when I'm turning 17. So both Tae and I are eligible.

Serenity: That also means Jimin's eligible too...
