Chapter 7

Feeling betrayed was one thing, but being there and having to witness someone he once loved and whom he still felt for, get married to another person was disheartening. The sight almost caused Oliver a heart attack and had Bruce Scott not held his hand and asked him to keep calm, he wasn't sure of what he might have done. 

Storming out of the hall was an option that came to mind, but it would undoubtedly mean bringing more attention to himself and causing tongues to wag. 

"You need this", he assured himself with each step taken ahead. 

Slowly, but surely, the gap between them shortened as he approached Vukan. 

Gently nudging on Vukan's shoulder, he muttered, "Hello". 

He watched his e-boyfriend almost jump out of his skin and melt into the ground as he took his time to turn around to acknowledge him. 

"I thought it was best I came over to congratulate you personally", Vukan said with a straight face.
