Back home with the little girl

Waiting for the girl to wake up Shun just silently checked if there was some sort of commotion going on in the city which could be connected to the girl's disappearance, but found nothing of use.

While he was going through that stuff he suddenly realized something.

'Where the hell is the girl going to stay?' thought Shun as he glanced towards Eri who was sleeping peacefully.

Fears aside, the girl was physically healthy no way they would let the girl stay in the hospital. No the bigger issue was that Shun wasn't willing to pay for the hospital room when there was no need. The hospital although the safest was the most expensive as well.

He immediately messaged Chiyo about the problem and soon got a reply from her.

"Take her home with you. She trusts you and probably thinks of you as her safety zone. Not to mention, being with you is probably the safest place she could be at."

After reading her message, Shun blinked in surprise and then looked at Eri.

'She wants me to babysit?' thought Shun with confusion. He was the last person he thought of to be babysitting someone. He didn't want to brag but he was quite confident he was a very dangerous man to be around and was wary of everyone and wouldn't even think twice to blow a hole through the heads of multiple children if he deemed it necessary.

He looked at Eri again and seeing the girl sleeping he sat back comfortably in his chair and looked at the ceiling.

'Well, I did hit her head so gotta take responsibility, not to mention now even grandma knows of her so I can't just handle her recklessly.' thought Shun and sighed once again.

'I can never catch a break, can I?' thought Shun and just rested on the chair.

The next day when doctors were done checking her condition, Eri was discharged just like Shun guessed.

Thanking the doctor once she was done checking Eri, Shun left with Eri but before going back the two entered Rei's room.

"Rei-san, I will be going back now," said Shun making the older lady smile at the boy.

But much to Shun's surprise a familiar yet unexpected person was sitting in the room along with Rei.

"...What are you doing here Kazami?" asked the boy who was with Rei.

"...Never thought to meet you here Shoto. I just came to say goodbye to Rei-san. Well, I will leave you two alone. Bye Rei-san. I will see you later." said Shun as he just bowed to Rei who just smiled at Shun.

Gesturing for Eri to follow him the two walked out of the hospital but soon Shun picked the girl in his hands and teleported back to his home.

Surprised by the sudden change in surroundings, Eri started looking around with fear wondering if she was back to where she ran away from but finding a totally new place she calmed down a bit.

"No need to worry, we are at my home," said Shun as he placed the girl down who looked around the room curiously.

"Well make yourself comfortable. I will get you something to eat," said Shun as he let the girl familiarize herself with the surrounding.

After making some snacks for the girl and himself, Shun called Eri who was silently watching him.

"Eat up. And if you are fine can I ask you some questions?" asked Shun as placed the plate in front of Eri.

Eri looked at the plate in front of her curiously with some stars in her eyes and just nodded her head dumbly.

Smiling at her innocent expression Shun placed a cup of milk in front of her and said, "I don't know if you know what they are, but these are called pancakes. Tell me if they suit your taste or not."

Nodding her head Eri tried to grab the pancakes with her hands only to wince in pain because them being hot.

Seeing the girl acting like that Shun just sighed. She had worse common sense compared to him when he started living with Skrahiko.

Using customize create to cut her pancake into bite-sized pieces he picked one up with his fork and brought it closer to Eri.

"Here, say aaah," said Shun as Eri just looked at the outstretched hand with a surprised look on her face.

But soon she opened her mouth and ate the food.

Seeing her face change from surprise to that bliss made Shun smile as he just started eating his share as well.

"Aaah."

But before he was able to eat himself the girl who was dome eating looked at him with her mouth open.

'...What have I gotten myself into?' thought Shun as he fed the girl who enjoyed the food given to her by Shun.

After the two of them were done eating Shun teleported the dishes into the sink and looked at the girl seriously.

"So Eri I am just going to put it to you straight. What you were running away from and why? I am going to help you so I need to know what am I dealing with." said Shun as Eri just stared at the boy in front of him.

Nodding her head Eri started telling him the story. It took her half an hour to explain all that Shun wanted to know, although she wasn't able to explain clearly as not much was known to her.

'Well, long story short, the place she was in had some people experimenting on her quirk. Not being able to bear the pain and the scary people she ran away...Ah, the deja vu.' thought Shun as he looked at the girl who was looking down with a saddened expression on her face.

Placing a hand on her head Shun just patted the girl's head and said, "Don't worry."

The girl looked at the boy in front of her. The boy who was older than her and saved her had a small but confident smile on her face. She didn't know why but seeing that smile just reassured her.

She looked at Shun's face with her mouth slightly open but soon she closed her mouth and asked, "U-Um, what is your name?"

"Hm? I forgot to tell you my name huh?"

Removing his hand from her head which made her sad Shun just smiled and said, "My name is Shun Kazami."
