Talk with grandparents

Shun soon returned home after dropping Itsuka and entered inside his house.

He went directly to the living room and placed something on the table.

Sorahiko looked at the bag that Shun placed on the table and then peeked inside it.

"Hmm.... Taiyaki?.... Don't tell me, you finally understood how great these are?" asked Sorahiko with an astonished look on his face.

Shun just ignored what Sorahiko said and then told him, "There are some leftovers from yesterday and have them for dinner.....I will have some cup noodles."

Sorahiko raised his brows a bit and then asked, "...Is something wrong?"

Shun shook his head and then said, "No, just think about a few things....I will be in my room doing my fixing and creating. Wake me up in the morning on time.....Tell sensei that I will taking today off."

Sorahiko stared at his grandson for a while and then nodded his head.

Shun gave a nod in reply and then walked towards his room, which was now just a work shop.

"...Today was hella tiring." muttered Shun as he changed his clothes and took out some blueprints.

The next day Shun woke up a bit early before Sorahiko even came to wake him up.

He stretched his body and then looked around to find himself lying down in his room with machine parts and blueprints all around him.

He just stood up and went down stairs while scratching his head and then smelled a scent coming from the kitchen.

His eyes widened a bit as all the sleep immediately left his body and became alert for a fight.

'... Grandpa would never cook this early... Who is there?.... Though the smell is familiar.

Shun materialised two Vibranium swords in his hands and went towards the kitchen and peeked inside and finally sighed seeing who was in there.

"Grandma Chiyo, good morning. How come you are here?" asked Shun as walked inside greeting the familiar short old woman.

Chiyo looked towards him and smiled and said, "Good morning. The geezer called me yesterday telling that you had something on your mind, so decided to come and cook something nice for you."

Shun smiled hearing that but also felt a bit annoyed at his grandpa for troubling her for something like that.

"Oh, you are awake...Good morning." said Sorahiko as he came inside holding a newspaper in his hand.

"...Don't trouble grandma Chiyo for something like this." said Shun.

"Hmm...you already told him?" asked Sorahiko looking towards Chiyo.

Chiyo just looked at both of them with smile and then returned back to her cooking.

Both the boys took a seat as Shun placed a cup of coffee for both of them and then remained quiet.

"...So-" said Chiyo

"Don't ask." said Shun making Chiyo stop her question.

Sorahiko who felt that the situation was getting awkward opened the newspaper to distract himself.

"...People theses days know no restraints." muttered Sorahiko earning attention from the other two.

Shun peeked into the paper noticing which Sorahiko tilted it for him to see as well and then said, "That Yotsuba girl married a hero once again....well it is not that much of a surprise now."

"Hmm....again, what number is it this time 4?" asked Chiyo

"Six....Six husbands with all of them being heroes.....this new one is a top notch as well, heck he is in top 100" said Sorahiko

"...Have to say, even though she is a quirkless, she gained a lot of popularity in the hero side. Well she has money and looks to open a huge hero agency and support all those husbands that she married. No wonder many heroes join their agency." said Chiyo without thinking much about it.

"She is living an great life that anyone would envy. Great wealth surrounded by lovers." said Sorahiko with a smile.

"....Don't say it like you don't know how it is like, you earned ba lot during your hero days and had three lovers as well." said Chiyo with a laugh.

Sorahiko laughed as well but soon stopped and had a longing look in his face.

'...She hit his sore spot once again.' thought Shun as he was familiar to the face that he was making and patted his back.

'...But three lovers, this geezer surely must be good....and grandma not even getting angry over it. This world is really different. Well, can't blame them, it's a normal thing here since the mortality rate is high...also the society need more people with stronger quirks to be passed on to the next generation but the government cannot let just those strong quirk holders have multiple lovers, so they just made it possible for everyone....Must be a strategy to gain a lot of votes during elections.'

Sorahiko who felt a pat on his shoulder looked at Shun and smiled seeing that he was worried about him, "What? Jealous of your grandpa's talents?"

Shun just yawned and removed the hand from his back and focused back on the coffee.

"But Shun you really remain quiet during these types of talks...." said Chiyo as she placed a plate in front of Shun filled with a delicious looking breakfast.

"Hey, where is mine?" asked Sorahiko.

"Hmm....none for those who trouble an old lady." said Chiyo as she took a seat and her plate on the table.

Sorahiko looked at her with a betrayed expression before he turned his head towards Shun.

Shun seeing that moved his plate a bit further away from him making Sorahiko annoyed.

"Fine, whatever! I still have those Taiyaki that Shun brought yesterday." said Sorahiko as he stood up to get them.

Chiyo and Shun smiled at the old man's actions before once again focusing on the food.

Suddenly Shun's phone started ringing and he took it out of his pocket, seeing that it was Nejire he picked it up and said, "Hello?....No, sorry I am a bit tired today...No nothing serious...Fine, on Sunday....Oh, one more thing Itsuka wanted to join the training as well, so is it fi-....Ok thanks, I will tell her...Bye."

Shun then put his phone down and started eating once again.

"...You sure are popular yourself aren't you Shun?" said Sorahiko.

"I am fine, I guess." said Shun not thinking much about it.

"...So have you decided what will you do in future?"

"... Something that will allow me to use my quirk....so I would be in need of a licence as soon as possible." said Shun.

"...Then why not join a hero academy? You will be able to get a provisional hero licence in your high school time if you worked hard. And even if not that you will get a license as soon as you pass out from high school. The fastest way that I know off." said Chiyo.

"Hmm....I agree with that as well. You being a hero will be a great help to everyone, but don't force yourself alright. Do whatever you want to do.....you might even try to become an equipment developer?" said Sorahiko.

"....In both cases you are recommending me to join a hero academy, huh.....Well let's aim for U.A. then. Grandma is the nurse there, so I might be able to skip classes and sleep in the infirmary there." said Shun.

"Don't think I will let you. I am not going to act as your grandma there young man." said Chiyo totally denying Shun.

"...Stingy grandma." muttered Shun as he finished his food and then stood up. "Thanks for the food grandma." and then left the room.

Shun took out his phone and was walking towards the bathroom when suddenly he stopped as he read the message.

Shun fist pumped and accepted her invitation before he went to prepare for school.
