Fei Shu, princess of Shengxin kingdom, given to the king of Son Hui kingdom, Wei Dong Song as a consort to seal a peace treaty between the two nations. Wei Dong Song takes a liking to her making her his favorite. She is then exposed to schemes initiated by the other consorts and Queen. She becomes an isolated consort when she is accused of trying to poison the Crown Prince. But her determination to live and rule elevates her from the Cold palace to being the Queen to rule alongside the king and making several decisions bringing peace to the two nations at war.

Chapter 1Nations at war.

The ministers and warlords convened at the meeting hall. The Son Hui kingdom had attacked the borders again, this time they were taking over the villages killing the inhabitants. The royal eunuch announced the presence of the king" His Royal Majesty, Emperor Fei Shin ". The doors opened and the Emperor entered the hall with a gruesome expression." Your Majesty" the subjects greeted in concord. Emperor Fei Shin sat down on his throne.

"As you all know the Son Hui kingdom has attacked our borders" he said. The ministers nodded in agreement. Then Head warlord Zhang stepped forward and said "Your Majesty, we cannot possibly go to war at this time. We just helped Sun Hei kingdom to fight the rebels attack."

The ministers murmured amongst themselves.

Just as they were talking, a messenger entered." Your Majesty, letter from the King of Son Hui kingdom ". The King's attending eunuch stepped forward and received the letter. He then read it out loud for the occupants of the hall to hear.

It read:

"Greetings to you my dear brother. I am sure you know that my men have already attacked your border. I can assume you know the number of citizens that have died. Well, I present a solution. Why don't you give me your darling beautiful daughter Princess Fei Shu. And I have my men withdraw. You and your ministers go to war or agree to my decision."

Everyone was stunned

Everyone began murmuring amongst themselves until Emperor Fei Shin suddenly roared and said " I would rather go to war than let that dog have my daughter ". Then the Prime Minister stepped forward"Your Majesty, I know this decision is very grave. But, like the head warlord Zhang has said we can't possibly go to war. Our finances will be affected. Please think it over, Your Majesty"." Please think it over"Everyone said in concord.

Emperor Fei Shin stood up and said " I will think it over "

He left the hall. Everyone dispersed.
