Cut Open

The giant's bloodshot eyes grinned with excitement as he held Su'ayun's beating heart in his palm, blood flowing down the gaps of his fingers. Without much thought (if they had one) he held the heart closer to his open chest. 

Like a hungry vagrant, the veins and muscles inside the giant's chest shook. Then tendrils of meat shot out towards the heart, wrapping it in countless veins until Su'ayun's heart slowly vanished from Ned's vision. 

The giant shook as soon as the tendrils went back affixing inside his chest. He fell, rolled, and roared. His joints snapping, his eyes leaking blood. But he was satisfied. Tendrils of soft meat wiggled towards the open chest and slowly pulled the wound as they started to heal by stitching the chest closer.
