Won't You Pet It, Wife?

Lin Xiaofei continued to sit on top of Qu Xing Xu's lap as her eyes were completely drawn to the nine black and fluffy tails twirling and twisting behind him. She glanced up at him and Qu Xing Xu saw the desire to touch his tails filling her eyes.

Chuckling under his breath, Qu Xing Xu said, "You can touch, but don't pull on them."

"Why? Will it hurt if I pull it?" 

Lin Xiaofei was only curious. What would happen if she pulled his tails? Will he grow whiskers and bare his fangs at her out of anger and surprise?

He answered. "It will hurt a bit. But something will happen if you pull on it."

"Oh..." Lin Xiaofei glanced at his tails again. She wanted to get off of him and go to his back to touch his tails, but the arms surrounding her waist were there to block her from moving.
