Chapter 170 - Vs Khaos Brigade Aftermath

After the smoke that became the barrier that separated the Gremory group and the Khaos Brigade members is gone, Shirou immediately covering himself with the cap of Hades to hide his existence from the enemy. Even though he had used a magic shield that covered his entire body to defend Xenovia attack, but all his effort by using the Magic shield are in vain because Xenovia attacking him with the Durandal which had strong destructive element, and because of that black robed man's magic shield was destroyed with only a single slash from Xenovia and the black robed man was having a erious injury because of that attack.

The black robed man retreated backwards while holding his left arm which was dripping with blood because of Xenovia's slash. He tore a small part of his robe, then tied his injured left arm to stop the bleeding on his left arm. The black robed man looked annoyed and feel a lot of pain all over his body, because he didn't expect that Xenovia could move so fast. Causing himself to be caught off guard and unable to dodge Xenovia's second slash.

The black robed man also realized that his white flames were useless against Xenovia, because Xenovia was only an ordinary human and not a devil. That's why the black robed man start to cast a magic spell and prepared another attack using only his magic, because he knew that it was impossible to defeat Xenovia in one on one fight in physical combat so his only hope to defeat Xenovia is his magic.

A very big fireball appeared in the black-robed man's right hand, then he threw the fireball at Xenovia. But because in terms of strength and speed Xenovia was clearly above the black robed man. Xenovia easily slashed the one meter sized fireball that was hurling towards her. And right after she slashed the fireball, Xenovia didn't waste any time. Because she quickly dashing towards the black-robed man and then slashed the black robed man's body without giving him a chance to dodge or move.

The black-robed man fell to the ground, with blood gushing from the long wound on his chest. Xenovia's attacks were so fast, to the point he doesn't have any chance to dodge.

After the enemy fell and couldn't move, Xenovia put Durandal back into her dimensional pouch. She looked at the body of the black-robed man lying on the ground. And Xenovia felt a little disappointed that the black-robed man couldn't put up any meaningful resistance at all when he fought her.

"Since he can be a dangerous threat to the devil race I think he's pretty strong," Xenovia said with a sigh. "But it turns out that he's just a weak mage who is lazy to train his physique and only relies on the power of his Sacred Gear to look strong, what a disappointing opponent."

Kiba who didn't expect that the shadow user would appear in front of him with a surprising way like that, had absolutely no chance to dodge because the man with glasses appeared from his shadow so quickly and added to the shock that appear because of the way of the shadow user using his Sacred Gears. Causing Kiba unable to react fast enough to dodge the bespectacled man's kick.

Kiba who fell to the ground immediately got back up quickly while touching his left cheek which was injured that caused by the spinning kick from the bespectacled man. From the kick, Kiba can feel that the physical strength of the bespectacled man is cleary above him, and that man is very skilled in hand to hand combat.

Kiba who understood and realized that attacking the bespectacled man directly with a sword was pointless since the man could enter his own shadow to avoid his attacks, quickly using one of the abilities of Sword Birth which can spawn dozens of swords simultaneously from the ground. The bespectacled man didn't seem panicked because he already knew all of Kiba's Sword Birth abilities from the information that gathered by the Khaos Brigade.

The bespectacled man was able to quickly dodge the swords that suddenly appeared from the ground where he was standing by jumping up to the air. But Kiba's attack didn't stop there, because the swords that appeared from the ground suddenly shot at high speed towards the bespectacled man who was in the air.

The bespectacled man was taken aback by the swords that suddenly shot towards him at high speed, he became a little panicked. But he didn't look worried at all, because all the swords that were sliding towards him going inside the shadow portal that appeared a few meters below his feet. After that he open a portal in front of Kiba and then releasing the sword form earlier throught the portal that he made in front of Kiba.

Because of that attack, Kiba could have a very bad injury. But unexpectedly the swords that came out of the shadow portal that appeared in front of Kiba, reentered the shadow portal at a higher speed than before and came out of the portal under the bespectacled man and then stabbed the bespectacled man's body.

Because of that attack the body of the bespectacled man spit out a lot of blood. The bespectacled man's body then fell to the ground, and his body was pierced by multiple swords and died from Kiba's attack.

"Fyuuh what a formidable opponent," Kiba said while wiping the sweat off his forehead. "Fortunately I got the a chance to made a new sword after I saw Emiya-san's ability to shoot a swords at high speed. I was saved becaude of the new remote control sword that I made, can be use to control a simple iron sword, otherwise I might lose this battle. Because that bespectacled man's ability to control his Sacred Gear is way above mine!"

When Shirou saw the result of Xenovia and Kiba's fight, he looked quite satisfied. Because the two of them had obviously grown stronger, even if only a little.

"How can I measure their ability of the if they both defeated their opponent in just two seconds," Shirou said while pointing to Rias and Akeno who were standing in front of the charred bodies of the Khaos Brigade members because of Akeno's lightning magic and Rias's power of destruction attack. "That light arrow wielder is really weak to the point where Rias and Akeno can beat him without breaking a sweat at all. I think I overestimated the light arrow wielder's strength and underestimated Rias and Akeno's power."

"Akeno you must removed your sadistic and masochistic nature if you want to be loved by Emiya-kun," Rias said who felt that Akeno's sadistic and masochistic behaviour needed to be changed.
