Lingering feelings

"So, what did he say?" Cai Sijian asked after Chen Rui returned the phone to him.

"As long as I have evidence against Little Flower then he doesn't mind." She replied before picking up the cup of coffee and taking a sip from it.

"Huh, thought so. I always knew that he didn't have a good relationship with her that's why he didn't really mind." Cai Sijian said as he leaned his back on his seat.

From her point of view, Chen Rui has always thought that her master and his first disciple have a good relationship but with the way Cai Sijian was putting it, it seemed to be the other way around.
