When my son is King

Margaret Beaufort:

"They have sinned to take the throne away from him!" I was a loyal Lancastrian, unlike some people. Lady Rivers must be very low, if she believes that friends go around stealing the throne from each other she must be crazy.

"Complaining, Margaret?" I hear this old, nasty voice from my right ear. My evil scheming mother has arrived hasn't she. I believe she is not welcome here, she will not be when my son Is King.

"Good evening to you, Lady Beauchamp!" I cursed at myself, "Lady Mother." I turn looking away from that horrible face. It must be what witches look like, I imagine an only woman with a large nose and a broom, ready to fly away. And I'd happily wave her off.

"You know my son don't you? Richard Welles is Margaret's half brother. He's my pride and Joy." My mother seemed to hate her own kind. She thought that women were meant to just bear children, and pleasure their husband. That is not what a women is for. A woman of God, is a Queen herself.

"As my son would be if you'd let me keep him with me." I was full of hatred for my mother. First she married me off to a man who is the brother of the man I actually love. Torturing me to see him, every day. And when I thought things couldn't get any worse, they did. She took my son away from me, because of my Lancastrian beliefs.

"Ever the drama, Margaret. I see she has not changed at all." My mother gave the boys a sign telling they should probably leave. She didn't wanna show her dark side to her son I suppose. What can I say, I am her Dark Side. "Ladies!"

"Henry is my son! He is mine!"

"And you have remarried." And you have gotten uglier. "A man I did not want to. A man you forced upon me. A man I did not choose." I gave her a look of disgust, and I was indeed disgusted. How could a women treat her child so cruelly. "Margaret this again, you are a girl. You do not choose. You live the life your mother chooses for you, or your husband does."

"Then why could you not have chosen, Jasper Tudor?" I was genuinely asking my mother, did she enjoy seeing me in pain? "Oh yes, I've seen your puppy eyes for him. Since long before his brother withered out of the plague."

"Then why choose Stafford." Since I had not talked to my mother ever since I remarried. I have a lot of questions for her. "I thought he was a better match. And I do not care if you are happy."

A better match for what, to torture me. To have to visit my boy and see the boy I love take care of him instead of me. That is not a better match, she just knows Jasper would treat me better than Stafford would.

All I ever ask is for someone to love me enough to care for my happiness. I do not blame god, but why must he give me such a life. Does he have a plan for me, or is he happy with my misery.

Writer:

Isabel walks towards George. She was very delighted with the news that she would become a royal duchess. Since he was her soon to be fiancé she thought she might chat with him. She does a courtesy and greets George. "Hello" Isabel usually talks with her eyes, growing up around her, George knew what she was playing at.

It was as if she asked him, "Why are you in here, instead of enjoying the party?" Except she already knew the answer. "There were too many commoners in there."

"And all of them want marriages." She eyed her prey, she was dropping hints.(Hint: she was probably good at it.) "Isn't that what you want Isabel?"

Isabel had the biggest grin on her face, she turned to walk out of the room. George quickly followed, getting her message.

Back To Elizabeth Woodville, Our lovely Queen Of England:

I walked to the stairs, as I saw Edward coming up, I had been looking for him as I wanted to ask him a question. I really did want to know what Warwick was up to, why he wished to speak with Edward in private, and not shout his claim out to everyone.

"Edward, there you are!" But as soon as I saw my handsome man, all my thoughts flew away. We touched noses, without warning Edward was able to pull me into a surprise kiss. I may say I saw it coming.
