EPISODE 170: Dark Dwelling in the Light!

Route thirty-six, a small and quiet route filled with bountiful rustling grass and trees. The breeze is quite warm, while the clouds were thin as feathers. The sun shines brightly above the azure blue sky, while Pidgeys and Pidoves travel with the hymn of the air.

A masterpiece, it was. The wind, the grass, and the tree all produced a suspenseful orchestra music. The sea on the other hand, added a vibrance of sweet harp melody oozing softly to one's one heart. Yes, this route could be found near the sea, as me and my friends put our eyes to the most mysterious city.

Aulmurus is under crisis, the forests are drying up, and the blood moon occurs frequently. What could go wrong next? Laurenburg truly isn't a typical region. For even the darkness could dwell on any light. Darkness could dwell on anything, may it be in the heart? Mind, or even soul.

(Bonus: Shaymin)]

Although it may be a hot and humid day, the wind traveling across the sky blessed us with cool and grace. Near the sea view is where me and my friends decided to set up camp. What could be better than a nice lunch beside the sea bay?

Shaymin was getting used to her surroundings. She feels more confident and less timid nowadays. Interacting with other Pokemons is what Shaymin does when she has free time. Sometimes, or on rare occasions, Shaymin would interact with other people passing by, as long as they have a cute Pokemon.

This will be our first route without Zhery tagging along. I wonder how she's doing back at the orphanage or wherever she oughts to be. She still pursues her dream of becoming a Pokemon Doctor.

"Hear the howl of the thunderous storm which harkens the reign of titan's will." A vision suddenly appeared on Zoroark's mind while she slept peacefully with Gardevoir eating a small apple by her side. Both of them love to lean on trees while watching the tiddly Pokemons play.

"Wh... what the?" Zoroark uttered with surprise. Her body may be on the tree she's leaning to but her mind is on someplace else.

She saw two dimensions clashing against each other, while two Pokemons fought a beast with six arms. Zoroark could see a man wearing a black-armored man rising up the very peak with a black Arceus pendant on his hand.

"Know that colossus shall be reborn as the peace of our region shall never be threatened again!" The man shouted loudly as he stretched the pendant to the sky.

The sky was nothing but peach black while the devourer of lights, clashed with the God of Matter.

Zoroark's necklace began to glow as the fifth ring slowly evaporated into thin air. Zoroark woke up from the fear she saw, it was like seeing a deathly future, awaiting ahead for me and my friends. A crisis that would soon seal our faith perhaps?

"Ah!?" Zoroark screamed loudly. She looked at her necklace and noticed that the fifth ring was gone for good.

"Zoroark, are you alright?" Gardevoir questioned.

"Yeah... yeah. I had a nightmare again that's all." Zoroark uttered with a shocked and surprised face.

"Did anyone say nightmare?" Banette's creepy eyes appeared on the bark of the tree.

"Banette, stop fooling around." Zoroark leaned back on the tree with his mind filled with many questions.

"Where is Hoopa?" Zoroark questioned on her mind after thinking of what she saw.

"Afíste me apó to domátió mou. Xypníste tin psychí mou" A weird unknown language creepily echoed on my mind while I set up the plates on the table.

"Afíste me apó to domátió mou. Xypníste tin psychí mou" The voice repeated again and again. I tried to forget it but it kept on distracting my thoughts.

"Afíste me apó to domátió mou. Xypníste tin psychí mou" I suddenly lost control of my body as I softly uttered those words. My hands began to tremble while my voice vibrated.

"Kalem, are you trying to say something?" Camellia's attention was suddenly caught after seeing my eyes twitch, my voice vibrate, and my hands tremble.

"Afíste me apó to domátió mou. Xypníste tin psychí mou" For some reason, my body ignored Camellia's voice.

"Kalem, what are you saying?" Camellia questioned while listening to the weird words I was saying.

"....." The voice stopped as I gain control once more of my mouth, mind, and hands. I felt dizzy for a moment, it was like everything was being stretched out. Everything around me twirled and glitched as my body fell on the rustling grass.

"Kalem!?" Camellia beamed with worry and concern as she placed the pot of noodles on the table. My consciousness disappeared and my heart slowly stopped beating.

"Kalem, what happened!?" Camellia knelt and shook my body.

"Kalem! Kalem! Snap out of it." Camellia begged with worry and concern while trying to shake my body harder.

"Limitless..." The voice echoed to my mind.

"We are limitless... I can make you the most powerful trainer in the world. I only ask for one favor, unleash me from my chambers, and awaken my soul." The voice bargained. This voice is different from the voice calling my name last time. It had a deep greek voice and accent. It's voice trembled and echoes on my mind.

"We are unstoppable. I am nothing without you, and you are nothing without me. I could give you anything you wish, for the darkness has everything." The voice trembled and echoed on my unconscious mind. I wasn't able to talk back. I could only hear the voice, and that's it.

"Do not listen to the voice of the light. For it is darkness, which begets the light. Open it... and I shall grant you limitless power." The voice echoed and trembled as it slowly faded away.

"Ouch..." My consciousness returned as my eyes slowly opened. I could see Glade and Camellia's face looking unto me with concern and worry.

"Kalem! What happened to you?" Camellia questioned with worry and concern.

"I heard a strange voice instructing me to do something. I, I can't elaborate on it. My mind is too worn out." I explained softly while sitting down on the rustling grass.

"This isn't normal anymore. I think you're too tired from battling and training." Glade guessed.

"You're probably right. I'm going to sleep in my tent." I uttered with a drowsy voice as I stood up and walked to my tent.

My body began to feel sleepy after a voice instructed me to open it. What does the voice mean by 'it'?

"Kalem, Kalem, it's already one in the afternoon aren't you going to eat yet?" Shaymin rushed to my tent two hours after I began to sleep.

"Kalem?" Shaymin leaned over my body and licked my face. Suddenly, Shaymin sensed something on my mind and heart.

"Ah!?" Shaymin beamed with shock after sensing something on me. Her body compelled her to run to the corner of the tent, shivering with fear.

"A twilight dwells in Kalem's body." Shaymin shivered with fear. She bit my leg and tried to wake me up.

"Shaymin, what was that for!?" My body reacted quickly due to Shaymin's powerful bite.

"It's gone!? Just a moment ago I sensed it." Shaymin beamed with shock while sniffing around me.

"Sensed what? Why are you sniffing me Shaymin?"

"Eh, maybe I'm just sensing things. Come on Kalem, it's time to eat!" Shaymin beamed with joy as she neglected her senses.

"Sensing things? Are you sure you're alright Shaymin?"

"It's nothing. Come on Kalem, I'm already hungry." Shaymin pulled my leg and beamed with starvation while her stomach growls.

"Alright, alright. You sure are one hungry little Pokemon." I smiled while rubbing Shaymin. Shaymin's bite made me forget about the voice and instructions. My body felt normal once more, filled with joy and happiness. I was back to my usual self, a determined and delighted trainer. Although, could there be any chances of remembering the voice again? Only time will tell as the journey continues...
