Babel Tower freedom from the nightmares.

Ryuk sat on the ground using his qi to ease the damaged meridians, organs and his headache. Ryuk felt that he truly didnt understand anything and wished that he could peruse a powerhouses library. Ryuk went up to the staircase and took a deep breath. Ryuk muttered softly "Its just five steps... Remember who you are!" Right as Ryuk was about to step forward Rán shouted "Stop Lucifer! The next five steps aren't like the ones before. They are worse and if you dont prepare your soul will shatter." Ryuk halted and looked back and said with a ghastly voice "What?" Abaddon explained "The first 20 steps are meant to just torture us. Those five steps are the real test. The nightmares aren't like anything you could imagine." Ryuk was aghast. Ryuk asked "So what do we do?" Abaddon said with a wry smile "Nothing. Recently an inscriber who lost his son to the tower invented a talisman that steals our memories making it so the tower has nothing to attack us with, but we didn't know the Tower of Babel would rise so... But! We can atleast prepare ourselves to face it." Ryuk sighed and looked deeply into himself and felt that he couldn't prepare anymore and stepped forward.

Ryuk woke up in a strange world. There were large skyscrapers seeming to ascend to the heavens. Large panels with people on it doing various things and metallic boxes Ryuk couldnt recognize speeding like horses. Ryuk saw men in fine suit and some in hoodies women wearing short pants and slim tops. Ryuk took a large mouthful of saliva in. "What is this place..." Ryuk couldn't help, but mutter. Soon a thin man with long hair bumped into Ryuk and shouted "Get out of the way man. Shit!" Ryuk arose and looked around. Soon a hand appeared from the large mass of flesh. It was a petite hand belonging to a beautiful blonde haired girl. She sighed and said "OMG. Ryuk get your retarded ass here." Suddenly Ryuk felt a suction and he became an ethereal shadow observing a man who looked exactly like him mutter in a foolish manner "Sorry... sorr... sorry Jean..." The girl scolded "Shut up keep up with me... If your brother didnt want me to take care of you I would have lost you you dip shit." Ryuk followed behind his clone angrily staring at the girl who kept nagging him. Soon the boy and girl entered a small alley and into a shady door. Ryuk saw hundreds of people slamming into each other as some weird form of music rang. Soon the duo made their way to a table where a man with a large mustache was groping a girl. Jean slammed her hand on the table and said "Why the fuck do I have to take care of your disable brother while your here cheating on me?" The mustached man ignored Jean and looked towards Ryuks clone and said "Yo bro!" Ryuks clone ran over like a kid and said "Hey... hey... hey bro." Ryuk could feel the loving relationship between the two and couldn't help but smile. Days went by and Ryuk saw more of these two brothers. His clone was born with a brain condition and his parents abused him. His brother Joel couldn't stand this and ran away with Ryuks clone. Joel made money from all sorts of things eventually joining a gang and becoming the brothers with the gang boss. Joel made a ton of money from his various "businesses" and he bought lots of things for himself and Ryuk.

A month after Ryuk had come to this strange world he was looking at his clone watching something on a screen and was chanting "No! No! Damn it! They got a home run what the fuck!" Suddenly a loud knock came from the door. Ryuks clone stumbled up and went to the door to see two large policeman shining a light in Ryuks face. "We have a warrant here to search this room."

Two days later.

Joel was in a large room where many people looked at him in disgust. Ryuk was in a black suit crying and Joel was miming to Ryuk some confronting words. A woman in a black robe came in and a man wearing a uniform similar to a policeman said "All rise for the honorable Judge Anderson."

Ryuk looked around this strange place, because he didnt know what it was. He entered a room and was curiously looking around when the woman with the black robe entered with a shady man with a buzz cut. "Your honor did you think about what we discussed?" The woman said "Yes. Im willing to treat the case with bias if you can deal with my husband. Anyway that person is human trash." The man nodded and began to laugh sickly. Ryuk looked confused because he didnt understand what was happening.

"After hearing all the evidence. I hereby state that Joel Williams shall be given the sentencing of life with no chance of parole."

Ryuk was beaming in rage as he now understood what this dream was meant to do. Ryuks heart was twisting. Why? Because he both admired Joel and similarily began to feel a brotherly affection for him, but now he saw him being unjustly treated and he couldn't do anything. He could only see as his brother smiled at Ryuk.

Three months later in a small office Jean was screaming at Ryuk "Dip shit just sign this contract. You dont know how to properly use Joel's money so just give it to me!" Ryuk shook his head saying "Big bro said no! Big bro said no!" Jean angrily began to smack Ryuks head and sardonically questioned "What's the point of some retard brother like you? Just sign this contract you dumb fuck!" Ryuk stayed firm. Out of anger she took the pen in her hand and tried to poke his head, but miscalculated her strength. Soon the pen was in Ryuks head and he was dead. Jean began to panting like a wild beast and began looking around. Suddenly a sick thought filled her head. She took the contract and Ryuks finger. She put some ink on Ryuks finger and then on the contract. Then she ripped her shirt and pants and Unzipped Ryuks pants. She took out a small screen and exclaimed "Police! Help! This guy tried to rape me and I... I.... Help!" ...

Inside a police station Jean said while crying "I wanted to help him because I knew he didnt know how to use money properly. He agreed and signed the contract and gave away his finances to me, but I think he thought of that as a... a check to do things with me... I told him no! No! but he kept... Im sorry."

Later a young man said to a fat greasy white headed man "Sir the evidence just dosent make sense. I think we should investigate more instead of hurridly coming to a conclusion like this." The greasy man said "Hmph. Scum breeds scum. Haven't you seen his brother." The young man said "But sir..." The greasy man said "Shut it!"

Ryuk was quiet as he looked upon these evil beings, but inside chaos was raging.

Jean shouted "what! He dosent have any finances?! Didn't his brother give him his money?!" A woman behind the counter said "According to what we have here. Although he received money it was all Joel Williams money." Jean stomped out and said "Hmph! That trash is useless even dead!"

Joel was reading a letter as he held his hand to his mouth. He could guess what happened and began crying. Ryuk began to shine in red luster.

Ryuk was left with a few words that rang in his head "Innocent life was taken out Because of greed. Families were shattered for nothing real. Is this what the universe contains. Scum that can get away with whatever they want? A system where you have no voice to object? Where you simply have to abide by rules others placed for the benefit of those who made it?" A thought came to Ryuks head "Everything is imperfect and disgusting, nothing is perfect and beautiful. I shall be the one that brings that nothingness to consume the universe."

Ryuk woke up at the end of the stairs feeling complicated. He felt weak, disgusted and angry he wanted everything to disappear. Ryuk had realized he hadn't even understood who he was completely. A throaty voice said "Congratulations on passing the Tower of Babel. Please wait for other participant's to join you to receive rewards."
