Chapter: A Good Uncle

The previous name of this body is Ming Shu which is the same as her name making it easier for her since she didn't want to be called by a different name

Ming Shu recall the current situation from her memories about the current crisis of the Shu clan is facing as a smile form on her face.

Shu clan was a large size clan in the past that they were the overlord of the entire Willow Leaf City as they have a single nascant soul in their ranks making them the biggest and strongest clan but that all changed when the father of the old Ming Shu died who is the only nascant soul in the entire city.

After the head of the Shu clan died the clans who were under them instantly split apart from them as they no longer needed to bow their heads but they didn't attack the Shu clan as they still had a lot of experts in their ranks but because of that same reason why the Shu clan started falling apart.

Since their was no longer a head figure to keep in place those who want to become the new patriach the experts of the Shu clan started aiming for that position which made them fought each other sheding down the number of experts of the Shu clan.

After a couple of weeks their still wasn't a new patriach and the experts that didn't participate in the blood shed and those who survived from it decide to make the heir of their dead patriach inherit his position.

Sitting on a comfy bed Ming Shu browse through her memories as her face turn ugly from anger.

What a bunch of old fools! No wonder the Shu family is facing a crisis right now as Ming Shu complain in her heart but couldn't do anything as she boil in annoyance and anger.

With great power can I bring peace to the Shu clan once more.

"Since I took over your body I should at least take care of you clan."

With a new goal in mind Ming Shu left her room as she went to the Shu clan's hall where the Shu clan elders and patriach gather and discuss about affairs in the clan.

She pass by some servants and Shu clan memebers as they all bow to greet her but she showed an aloof manner as she ignore them and walk pass them as if they didn't exist which brought some frown in their faces but they didn't say anything.

She arrived at the Shu clan's hall where most of the elders have already gathered here so she walk inside the hall as every gaze fell to her body but she ignored them as she walk straight to the main seat for the clan's patriach.

Looking at her manners and actions almost every elder got mad at her but didn't say anything as they only showed a frown on their faces while gazing at her.

Ming Shu reach the seat of the patriach as she sat down and face the people around her but nobody said anything making the atmosphere uncomfortable for her but her uncle thankfully arrived in time to save her situation.

"Little Ming your finally up?"

"Sorry uncle Do Ming Shu was tired last night."

"At least your condition has turn well."

Ming Shu happily chatted with her uncle Do while ignoring the others since through her memories her uncle Do is a very powerful cultivator only second to her father and a very loyal friend to the previous Ming Shu's father and to the Shu Clan and would gladly sacrifice himself for the clan and no matter how many times she search through her memories she can only come up with one conclusion.

His a bonafied great uncle and ally within the clan.

"Uncle Do the clan meeting is about to start so please take a seat."

Uncle Do nod is head as he sat by the seat next to the patriach a few more minutes later the remaining elders of the Shu clan arrived and went to their seats starting the meeting.

As everyone gathered uncle Do stood up and said some words.

"Thank you all for coming to the clan meeting even though some of you might have some other stuff to do so let us give respect to our new patriach."

Even though uncle Do said those words in a calm tone all the elders knew that his words were full of threats as they stood from the chairs and at the same time bow their bodies in a ninenty degree angle as they praise her.

"Congratulation for the new patriach may you live forever and guide us to a new era for the clan!"

With all of the clan elders speaking at once it sounded like a bomb went off in the clan hall and Ming Shu almost ruined her image by closing her ears by how loud they were so she camly gaze at them.

"Thank you all for accepting me as your new patriach for it weren't for all of your supports I wouldn't be sitting in this chair today."

Hearing her words all of the elders wanted to cough out blood, give you our support? If it weren't for your uncle we would have already shared the power among our selves!

Inside they were screaming in complain but their faces show as if they were being honored and thought she is still just a child so she won't see through our act but they didn't know the soul of the little girl got already replaced by someone who already knows what their thinking.

Ming Shu show a beautiful smile as if being happy but she showed a vicious grin in her head.

Do you think you old foggies thought I don't know what your thinking? Then you'll have another thing coming for you!

Uncle Do worriedly look at her little niece being tricked by these old fools but he couldn't say anything since the clan is in dire traits right now.

The meeting started and Uncle Do took charge of the decision makings since Ming Shu is still just a nine year old child but she was disciplined to do good manners but she still hasn't cultivated yet because of it.

The meeting went on for a few hours till it reach noon as the meeting ended and everyone left the clan hall leaving Ming Shu and her uncle Do all alone.

"Little Ming I need to tell you a few things about our clan and that the current crisis our clan is facing might be the end of our Shu clan and the elders of our Shu clan can't be trusted."

Her uncle slowly explain in a soft tone as of not to scare Ming Shu which touch her as where could someone find a very kind uncle in a world like this? She wouldn't even be surprised if her uncle went for the patriach position.

"Don't worry uncle I wouldn't be fooled by the acts of those old foggies."

"Ehh you already knew?"

"Uncle even though I am a child right now but my mind is much more older than you think."

"Haha, then your uncle actually didn't need to be worried at all."

Ming Shu happily chat with her uncle and got a bit surprised as her uncle knew so much that he didn't seem to be running out of topics so after a few minutes she changed the topic of their conversation.

"Uncle I want to start cultivating."

"Sure just tell me what you need and uncle well get what you need."

"Thank you uncle."

Ming Shu asked her uncle to take out a small, medium, and big Qi stone and told him to sell this to her which earned her a weird look from her uncle.
