25. A Promise for Himself

As they all reach the place Gea grab Dave hand and bring her to the corner side

"So here we are, besides DJ and George could spend their dinner date, why don't you try to approach Ava and getting to know her more than information that I gained for you?"

"And how I suppose to do so if you already attached to me like this and won't let others know that we are brother and sister?" Dave explained to Gea what people already thinking of them"

"Let me deal with that part, but first you should deal with your nervousness when I make you the chance, ok?"

"Ok... let's go there everybody already sits"

See that anna and Ava sit together Gea use this circumstance to create a chance for David to get closer to Ava

"Greetings everyone, I would really like your help if you don't mind" Gea speak a bit loud than usual to ask for their attention

"My brother here is a bit shy and clumsy whenever he saw a woman or getting close with, and as everyone here aware I am a psychologist therefore if you don't mind my theory, could you let him sat between women?"

Understood what Gea mean Edward speak his mind

"I am sure Anna and Ava would not mind having Mr Hendricks sat between them and you could sit between me and Mr.Stevenson in that case you and your brother will sit face to face, shall we?"

Edward move a little bit to gave some space for Gea to sit seems not necessarily as David already prepared the space as soon as Edward mentions that she will sit there

Gea could see the shyness in Ava's face and catch a glimpse of Anna anxious expression.

"Are you really brother and sister?" Edward curiosity could not hold him to ask the question

"Yes, we are siblings that separate by misfortune event and do not know about each other existence till recently" Dave decide to answer right away before Gea turn it off

"However, I would truly appreciate if each one of you would keep it as a secret and let no one knew about this, even if to the closest person of you" Gea look right at David's eyes when she mentioned the closest person

"I had my reasons and I hope you would honour that and keep it as a secret till I decided to let others know" Gea continues

everyone nods their head and gave their words to Gea that they'll let her decide when and where she would let the news out as each of them understand how scary the entertainment news could be.

"Thank you, I really respect it" Gea sat between Edward and David while showing how she appreciates their promise

Edward pat Gea hands to show her his support earnings him a glare from David and the chilly feeling around him.

"How about if I sat beside Anna and make more space on this side?"

Edward try to move from the chilliness feelings and the consequences he would face if he does not try to move as almost the entire time Gea talks to him more than David

Gea says nothing as she already gains enough information she could have by their conversation and the reaction she tried to confirm besides it makes her sit side by side with DJ so it's fine with her

Like that the side will be Ava - Dave - Anna - Edward and on the other side is David - Gea - DJ - George

The slightest smile in David eyes and corner of his mouth already confirmed Edward that he made the right move and things will getting better tomorrow at the office than the few last days

seeing it nearly 9 am and saw Gea keep checking her watch, David release his entourage to leave start with George

"George, you could leave if you want... I had no more task for you"

Knowing the night still long for this love birds Gea gave her key to George while saying " just bring her back in one piece at our apartment, will ya"

DJ hugged and kiss her for her understanding "how about you?"

'I'll have Dave to drop me" Gea smile could really melt a volcano

received the assurance on Dave's face DJ and George excuse themselves.

Learning from their conversations that Ava apartment not far by Dave's Gea insisted Dave should give Ava a ride as Anna and Edward still have things in the office to be done.

After making her promised to text him a soon as she arrived at her apartment David left Gea to wait for a taxi that he calls and if Gea does not insist he may waiting for the taxi arrive before leave

"Miss Graham, why you standing alone here?" Edward saw Gea sitting alone in the drop of area

"Oh, I am waiting for a taxi to drive me back to my apartment"

"I see..."

Just when Edward finish his sentence, David and Ava arrive at the drop of area

"Sir, you don't need to go back to the office, why don't you give Miss Graham here a ride back to her apartment beside is on the way back to yours... what you say"

"No... no, it's okay Dave already called a taxi for me" Gea does not want to bother David seen the offer come from Edward and not from David himself

"It's okay, I just cancelled the taxi" Edward reply

Before Gea could say anything she heard a car door open and horns sounds

"Gea, hop in... I could wait for all night if you want to but I am afraid you also should listen to the horn sound all night from the cars behind me!" David ignore the horn sound and texting in his cellphone

Waving goodbye to Edward and Dave, Gea get in the passenger seat at the front of David Car

[You and Ava no need to be back to the office we could deal with the project Monday as we already way ahead of it. By the way, pay George 5%more than usual and give yourself, Anna and Ava a bonus for this month ]

Edward smiled as he prognosis only has a tiny mistake that he does not have to wait until tomorrow for the results of his moves

Gea puts the seat belt of Mazda 3 and seat comfortable on it

"Thank you, Dave says you pay for the food tonight"

"I think it is fair to consider we have more persons than yours"

"Still, we could pay for our part... so thank you"

Can't hold for the silence Gea open her bag and took her cell phone with earphones to hear a song but before she hit her playlists

"Do you mind to put another plug in my ear so we could hear the song together? "

David slide his head bit to the middle of the car and run his hand through his ear make sure is ready

Gea put the earphone in each of their ears, put her bag on her lap, hit the play music button without choosing either the playlists or the song as every song in her phone is the song that she like than close her eyes

look beside him as the plug already in his ear, Gea already close her Eyes. David looks back to the beautiful night road and keeps a promise for himself that he will make the lady beside him to always happy and seat there beside him either in this car or in his life.

And as the car moving slowly and smoothly with David biggest smile ever "Celine Dion song I love U" plays from Gea phone company his ride with the lady that keeps shaking his World lately.
