273. Fish

Every four years, kings and queens gather at Mary Geoise for a seven-day conference to discuss current events and debate plans for the future. The matters discussed at the Reverie could affect the entire world.

But many of the kings and queens visiting were good for nothing and self-centered.

The Ryugu Kingdom was not allowed to participate this time because of Fisher Tiger burning the Mary Geoise. This gave Alexander a chance to officially bring them under him as one of the kingdoms in his organization called the United Kingdoms of the Seas(UKS).

"Grandpa, is that a jungle?" Shirahoshi asked him, pointing to a tree

"Haha, that is just a tree, girl. Look over there at that mountain. That is a jungle." He showed her around Foosha Village.

"Woaaa... So beautiful." She exclaimed.

Shirahoshi had lived her past ten years inside the palace and had become very emotional. The reason behind such protectiveness was because she was the ancient weapon Poseidon and King Neptune already knew about it. In fact, it was already known by Roger and King Neptune that Neptune's future daughter would be an ancient weapon, courtesy of three-year-old Shyarly at that time.

Alexander found out about her from King Neptune as he wanted to know If Alexander could do something to protect her. So he implanted a small portkey in her arm. If she ever came into life-threatening danger she would automatically get teleported to a safe location.

Shirahoshi was very big and it was hard to hide her from so many people in the village to see her, making her feel shy and anxious.

Soon she heard a voice, "Hahaha, you must be Neptune's daughter."

She looked at the man, "Do you know my father?"

Roger nodded, "Yes, I am a good friend of him. So, why did the princess come here?"

"Ah... I just wanted to see the sun and the jungle."She shyly answered.

"Hahaha, good. There are enough jungle and sunlight here. Come to my place for lunch today. You will like it." Roger invited her.

"Ah... What about me, aren't I invited?" Alexander chimed in.

"Ah, of course, you are. You are always invited... As long as you bring a nice bottle of Firewhiskey." He cheekily said.

Alexander laughed wryly, "Hah, Kid, I'm telling you, your liver will explode someday from all that overworking."

Soon all the kids, Luffy, Law, Lami, Gina, Robin, Sanji(Staying until the floating restaurant is made), Franky, and Sabo came running to them. Behind them, the mature ones followed, namely Rina, Gali, Amy, and Jenny.

Alexander expected for Luffy to speak first but instead, it was Rina. She shouted seeing Shirahoshi.

"FISH! Will it be tasty?" She wondered.

Just beside her, Gali's eyes became starry and her mouth salivated.

Shirahoshi got really scared and tried to hide behind Alexander.

*SIGH* *BAM* *BAM*

Both received a hard knock on their heads, "Don't scare her, you two. She may look big but she is just ten."

"Hahaha... we were just kidding." They clarified. But Alexander doubted that Gali was kidding, her facial expressions were too real.

Just then Alexander heard another loud voice, "FISH!"

He looked behind and Luffy had launched himself towards Shirahoshi like a hungry predator. He quickly caught him and gave him a fist of love.

"Luffy you dumb kid, didn't you read about Fish-men in your school books? She is the princess of Ryugu kingdom, be respectful to her" He lessoned him.

But Luffy suddenly puffed his chest out, "Haha... Nice to meet you, princess, I will become the Pirate King someday."

*BAM*

"I told you to stop saying that. Being called a Pirate King is not a good thing." Alexander again lessoned him. Behind him, Roger nodded at his words.

"Hehahaha... you all are so funny." Shirahoshi's laughter interrupted everyone.

Amy quickly approached her and struck up a friendship. She was always the smart one in the group.

"Okay, kids. Show our guests the jungle. Amy, lead the group." He told them.

Soon they dragged Shirahoshi with them. Alexander looked at Roger, "Ready for the meeting?"

"Yeah, let's go. I want to hear what your plan is and there will also be free drinks so I am more excited," he said.

Alexander facepalmed himself, "You and Ragnarok would make best buddies."

"Haha, we already are. He hangs out in my bar a lot these days." Roger confirmed Alexander's doubts.

The Meeting was a secret occurrence. All the top leaders of the Golden Justice Army would be present there, though most of them were Alexander's people.

They gathered at an underground base on Dawn Island. Joakim, aka Blue Fang, was the current overall overseer of the entire military. Brian was overseeing the money management and Connor was handling the spy network.

Ragnarok was was not given major responsibility except to sit as an emergency backup if their forces required it at any given time.

Joining the meeting were Roger and Kong. Though nobody knew Roger's real identity.

"I will keep this short, I want to take over the whole 1st half of the Grand Line, East Blue, and South Blue. East Blue is mostly covered and South Blue will soon be under us too.

"What's left is the Grand Line. Mainly Paradise. I want to cover all this so we can focus on the more messy part of the world.

"As we know, the most pirate-infested area is the New World. Not to mention, the legendary One Piece is there. So, we will be discussing ways to take over Paradise as soon as possible." He finished speaking.

The first to speak was Dobby, "Thanks to Hats, we were able to get the whole calendar for the upcoming Reverie. We know which kingdom will head to Mary Geoise and when.

"But forcing ourselves on them would be counterproductive. What we need is to win the favor of the people. The rulers can be easily swapped, people can't. So I recommend you don't mess with Reverie for now. Maybe in the next one. And besides, only 50 kingdoms out of 170 are a part of it. We still need to focus on others."

"Maybe I can get in contact with the revolutionary army. I know Dragon very well, he will help." Kong chimed in.

Alexander shockingly looked at him, "What?! But weren't you the Commander in Chief of the world government? You were just one rank below the 5 el... I mean 4 elders.".

Kong smirked and started, "Huh, they had kidnapped my family so of course I would be against them. How do you think the revolutionary army got so big in such a short time? I could not openly support them but I kept the Marines away from them."

Alexander was amazed with this news, "I had no idea Dragon had his reach in such a high place. But sadly, we cannot become their friends. The revolutionary army has a very bad reputation and it will take a lot of time to get it back up. Associating with them will tarnish our reputation too.

"We can kill all the pirates in the world but what good would it be if people don't listen to us and continue being lawless."

Alexander knew that the world he was in would not be easy to manage. Because unlike the normal Earth or even Planetos, this planet didn't have big continents except the Red Line. The world was too scattered which made it hard to keep everything in check. Even the World Government doesn't have full control over the world even after 800 years.
