There is no turning back now. Pam just took one step towards the relationship she left 7 years ago. After going through so much, the feeling of having nothing to lose anymore gave her the courage to do something extreme. She waited for a chance and God have it to her.
As she walked towards The Peak which is just across her building, her heart was pounding fast. This is the first time he is going to Tim's apartment after such a long time.
The Security Guard greeted Pam and directed her to the reception after checking she is not unit owner.
"Good morning ma'am!"
"Good morning!" Pam replied with the courtesy. "I am here to see unit 1818 of Timothy Connor."
"Can I get your name please?"
"It's Pamela Cruz, he knows I am dropping." Pam realized Tim is not joking, the guard seems to know who are the tenants of the building and new on spot she is not. Now it seems she had to log, Pam afraid the reception will attempt to call Tim's unit when it's empty, she added that Tim is aware she is coming and even showed the card.
"It's fine Mrs Connor." The receptionist smiled at her.
Pam was surprised with how she has been addressed, Mrs. Connor. There is no denying she got excited hearing it as if it's bound to happen that she will be Mrs. Connor at the same time this kept her wondering is the lady in mistaken?
Pam proceed to the elevator, the lady who called her Mrs. Connor had her smile plastered even after she left. This is clearly not the lady that has visited Tim in very few occasion. She finally met the wife of the guy who kept the single ladies in building admin drooling. She knew the previous girl was special to have entered Tim's unit since he is never seen with a woman since he started living at 1818. However, as handsome as he is rumor has it that he is probably gay. She is relieved to know there is a 'wife'.
When Pam entered the unit, as expected he knew Tim would be minimalist. The unit screams a man lives here. It's black, gray and white. The unit is bigger than hers. She was expecting it. This is The Peak, one of the prime condominium in the central business district. Although hers can be considered prime too, it's nothing compared to The Peak.
There where 3 doors in the unit. "Which is his room hmmmm." She went ahead and opened each one of it. The room was facing the street, it's the middle door. To the right was the bathroom and to the left looks like a study room that could function as guest room.
Pam smiled and said to herself, "he is still neat freak. Everything is in order." She looked around for any trace of woman's memento. She found none. No pictures, nothing of special interest which one could suspect came from a girl.
She opened the cabinets and found his boxers. She took a black Calvin Klein the she proceed to look for a casual wear for Tim. She knew Tim loves to wear shorts and polo shirts. She selected a cream colored polo shirt and army green shorts. It took her time to find for a paper bag to use. Before leaving she tried to figure out if she forgot something. "Oh the shoes!" Then she took a foot socks after remembering Tim said to get him a pair of shoes.
She dropped by Coffee Bean to get breakfast as nothing is in her fridge. She has no appetite and relied on restaurant food since she started working back.
"Tim?" She soft called him after closing the unit's door. There was no answer she put the breakfast quickly at the small dining area adjacent to the kitchen.
The room of her door is closed, 'should I knock?' She is being foolish, it's her room why the hell would she need to knock. She opened the door and was about to call his name when she found him sitting with towel wrapped around his waist sitting at the edge of the bed.
"You are back!"
"Here are your clothes." Pam handed her the paper bag and was about to turn when she noticed the fresh bedsheets. "You changed the linens?"
"Hmmm" He pulled her hand so she could stand near him then hooked his left arms in her waist. "It smelt sex...too much." Then he chuckled. There were some blood stains too, it was good sign but it is unsightly for Tim. He kissed her on her stomach.
Pam pushed him, "dress up, I bought breakfast. I will see you outside." Pam noticed a tent in the towel and was alarmed. It was too late Tim pulled him to sit on his lap. Pam felt the hardness poking somewhere near heat butt.
"OMG Tim what is this!" She squirmed.
"I'll just have you for breakfast." He licked his lips when he said this.
"So horny it's early in the morning!"
"You made me hungry!" Tim complained referring to the time they were apart.
"I am literary hungry." She hugged him and continued, "hurry up or the coffee will be cold." She then quickly stood and ran outside.
Tim was left laughing. He quickly changed and head out.
Pam was sitting in the small dining meant for one to two person, Tim had to sit opposite her. He would have preferred to sit beside her so she can have two breakfasts at a time. He missed her a lot.
Since he is tall, sitting opposite Pam in the small table his legs would bumped on her legs. He let out a mischievous smile.
"I got chicken pesto in focaccia and brewed coffee."
"It's good!" Tim quickly replied. "You don't cook breakfast? Or you skip it?"
Pam is guilty she either skip breakfast and just have coffee as she is most of the time not having the appetite.
Her silence tells Tim, she is not having proper morning meals. "Pim...you got to eat like properly eat." He said this while putting her legs in between his legs slightly squeezing them.
Pam is unaware of what Tim is trying to do. Calling her Pim got her floating in the air, she is also trying to figure out how to leave the topic. Although she promised to be honest with him, she feels like it's unnecessary to tell him about her eating disorder.
"You have room for meat and fat. Tim is looking straight into her chest."
Pam instinctively cupped her breast when she saw his gaze fixed on it. She frowned and thought of a way to move out of the topic, "you seem to be forgetting something!"
Tim looked at her face with wondering face. "What?"
Pam grabbed the opportunity to probe on the topics on his head. "So what happened to the engagement? I hope I am not a third party here."
"You are!"
Pam,"...."
