Chapter 18 – Her Many Firsts (10)

The next day, Pam woke up seeing Tim dressed in form fitting navy colored suit. The white shirt with 2 dark blue stripes in the chest downplayed the out from being too formal. He also wore white Gucci sneakers.

They spent the night talking about the recent application that they company is supporting. As they are in the same field, they exchanged opinion and assessment if the solution could make it 3 to 5 years down the road. It was almost 12:30 am when they call it a night.

"Morning…Are you preparing to leave now? Are you not having breakfast here?" She glanced at the digital clock in the side table, its already 7:30 am. She immediately get off the bed preparing to run towards the bathroom to freshen up.

"Baby it's okay… take your time I can wait for you and drop you off to the office before heading the airport," he said in calm manner.

"Won't you be late then?" She is worried she will just cause trouble.

"No, my flight is 11:30am, I'd be fine if you are ready in 30 minutes." Tim has checked in already. He will just drop his bag and he should be good to go later in the business lounge.

In lighting speed, Pam is all set to go. Since she only wear lip gloss and is not someone who is fuzzy on what to wear, she could get her self-done in 20 minutes. This is of course with her hair still needing some blow-drying.

He took one of the clothes that Tim bought her. She was too embarrassed to take all those clothes, so Tim ended up hanging them in one side of his closet. It was a wraparound dress in black. The ribbon helping to keep the dress in place is its only accent. She wore suede flats in gray. She looked simple yet charming with her natural waves and clean face.

In 30 minutes, the car reached the front of their office building. Before alighting, Pam gave Tim a peck in the cheeks. Tim was not satisfied, he held her by the neck and gave her a proper kiss.

Pam blushed, "Take care and I'll see you on Wednesday."

"Hmmm"

Pam walked towards the building, when she looked back the car was still on park light. She signaled him to leave but Tim appears to have no intention of leaving anytime soon.

She pulled her phone and sent him a message: Go! ILY!

Tim: Ok, I love you Pim! Don't stay late in the office.

She replied with an ok sign and an emoticon blowing a kiss.

Com Friday, it was Pam's turn to leave the country. She is nervous and excited. She is traveling outside the country for the first time and she is solo! She gave her mom a call before boarding the plane and sent Tim a chat message telling him she has boarded.

Pam spent two weekends with two different set of friends. Saturday was spent with High School friends while Sunday with College friends. She loved how efficient Singapore is. It's a small country yet it boasts all the advance technology and way of living that other big first would countries have.

The last day of the conference ended 3:00pm. Two hours before her 7:00PM flight, Pam is already in Changi killing time while waiting for boarding time. She remembered how Tim has brought so many items for her from the US. She thought of giving him something in return.

It was difficult to decide on what to buy for Tim. He almost got everything. She is also unfamiliar with his favorites. Admittedly, she can't also buy something too expensive. She ended buying him a cross pen and had ILYT discreetly engraved on it.

She headed towards the rent-a-car counter that the company arranged for her airport transfer. Dragging her one big luggage she stopped in front of the counter to take out the booking receipt when she was suddenly hugged from behind.

She instinctively slapped the hands and was about to do an elbow strike when she heard a familiar voice, "oh wow…no violence please."

She took a deep breath and let out a sigh of relief. "Please don't do that again. You scared me. What are you doing here?"

"I thought of picking you up…I missed you!

"But the company has made an arrangement."

"I had it cancelled," he quickly retorted with a smile.

Pam felt warm with such gesture. On the way she noticed that they seem to be heading back to his pad rather than her dorm. "Are we going your house?"

He slowed down and asked, "Hmmm, why?"

Pam quickly thought about it and said, "would you mind dropping me off the dorm first? I promise to be quick."

She changed her clothes and systematically packed for an office outfit tomorrow, the gift she bought for Tim and some snacks from Singapore. She then headed back to the car. She has been used of meeting Tim from the main road. Probably if she asked him to pick her up directly from the dorm, he would be lost.

Tim saw her image coming out. He has never set his foot in her dorm. Although she is living solo in a room, he thinks it's will put Pam's image in bad light considering she is still legally single. He doesn't want her to be center of gossip. It wasn't great either that it appears like Pam is always sneaking in his pad but who cares? He is living solo and she is the girl that he loves.

When Pam reached the passenger seat upon buckling her seat belt, she handed over the rectangular box to Tim. "I only got you this, I hope you like it."

"That was so sweet of you baby," Tim has smiling ear to ear. It doesn't matter what is it, the mere fact that she took the effort to get him something, means a lot to Tim. He opened the box and see a black and silver cross pen. "Thank you baby!"

Later in the evening, Tim took out the pen that Pam gave him. He was scribbling something on his mini journal that he uses for quick note taking when he noticed the letters ILYT engraved on it. A sudden surge of happiness filled his heart. He closed the lights of the study room and headed back to the main room.

Pam was browsing the post conference feedback. She did not notice his entry until he tucked himself in on the bed. Pam has no intention of looking at him

"Pim…I saw it!"

"Saw what?"

"This!" He kissed her on the corner of her lips.

Confused she straightened her leg and faced Tim, "what did you see?"

He moved on top of her and kissed her on the lips.

Confused but not resisting, Pam let Tim kissed her. When he let her go she managed to ask, "Where did you see something like this? How?"

"Pim I love you too…" he whispered in her ears and placed the pen he is holding in the side table. He quickly closed the two-side lamp and the darkness engulfed them.

Tim was quick in his movement. In a snap he is naked on top of Pam. The night will not pass without completely owning her.
