Chapter 9 - Jealousy part 2

When Angeline came back inside the party, Michael has been looking for her. When they finally got time to talk to each other, they went to a corner at the back to talk where there is no one around.

Michael: I think you have something to tell me and you can read my mind.

Angeline: Uhmm.. sorry, I was not able to tell you that I am living with Gabriel but it is not just him. There's 4 of us living together in a 7 bedroom house. It is a big house. Also, you know your mom suddenly came looking for you after we both confessed, so I did not have time to tell you everything, even about this powers.

Angeline explained everything to Michael and about how they all ended up living together and how they got the house. However, Michael decided to join them because he cannot let his girlfriend live alone with 3 other men.

Michael: Then I will join you, I will live with you.

Angeline: I have to ask Raphael first. Come with me later, or is the party almost finished anyways?

Michael: I will ask my mom.

Michael asked his mom and she let him go to Angeline's house. Angeline contacted Raphael that she is going home and she wants him and everyone to meet someone who wants to join them in the house. Raphael then hurried home excitedly waiting for Angeline. Angeline got home with Michael.

Angeline: Oh, Gabriel did not come out of his room still and did he finally talk?

Marius: No, he never went out of his room since he came back home from the party.

Angeline: Oh okay. Marius and Raphael, this is Michael. He is a director who studied directing in college and got honours. Also, please don't be surprised, and mad, especially you Raphael. He is my boyfriend and he wants to live with us because well, he is worried about me living with 3 other men, I am sure you guys know what I mean right?

Marius: It is understandable he wants to join because you are his girlfriend.

Marius and Raphael are shocked. Raphael got mad but is trying to control himself just as Angeline told him.

Marius is hurt but he knows he don't deserve Angeline because of what he did in the past, but still hopes Angeline will forgive him and change her mind.

Raphael: I don't want him to live with us.

Angeline: Why? If you wont let him, then I will leave. Also, he is a director, he can help you too with lots of things, and he can teach you more than I can.

Raphael: What? No! Fine, he can join but on one condition. He must have his own bedroom, he cannot sleep in your room. Also, he must teach me as well then.

Angeline: Fine.

Michael: Thank you, Raphael. Also, I know your secrets.

Raphael: What secrets?

Michael: That you are... (Angeline stopped him with her hand covering his mouth).

Angeline: *Marius is here, he doesn't know.*

Michael: *Oh, sorry.*

Raphael: What is it Angeline?

Angeline: Marius, can you prepare some drinks and snacks? Thanks.

After Marius finally left to go to the kitchen, they can finally talk about the secrets.

Angeline: Okay, he is gone. Raphael, Michael found out that I have powers. He saw me when I saved his sister and her family from the accident. Remember when I told you there was almost an accident? It was them, they almost got hit by a car and I used my powers to save them. I did not know he was looking at me and he saw me, then I explained everything to him.

Raphael: Is that why you chose him because he found out and blackmailed you?

Angeline: No! He did not blackmailed me. I found out what he was thinking when I was talking to him. I found out he feels the same way, and we both confessed. I like him before I met you and even before I met Marius.

Raphael: Okay, it seems you are telling the truth.

Angeline: I guess reading minds can help without explaining things further.

Raphael: Thanks for hiding this secret. I can see that you are trustworthy. I'm sorry I got mad, I just got jealous, but if ever you hurt Angeline or see her cry because of you, I'll take her away from you.

Michael: Don't worry, I won't make her cry. I will try my best to protect her even if she is more powerful than me.

Raphael: Okay, Michael, can you touch the pearl on her necklace? I just want to confirm something.

Michael then touched Angeline's necklace, the Mother Pearl. Suddenly, the Mother Pearl started glowing again and it became two.

Raphael: Oh, so that's how the Mother Pearl gives birth to a new pearl. You're one of us now, Michael. You may choose 3 elements or powers to use. Get the new born pearl and say those 3 elements or powers you want to have. Each element has several powers. Earth can do a lot like change clothes, using vines, sand, or rocks, it can also help build something. Water can heal, clean, purify. Air can make things float or move, you can fly, make whirlpool when in water, or even cut something. Fire can burn, bring heat, melt, boil, or dry something. Light can make illusions, record something you have seen, or touched, you can also use it like the one you called cctv for security, and a lot more elements. Sorry, I don't know much because my mom couldn't teach me everything.

Michael: Then I will choose Light, Fire, and Air.

After mentioning the 3 elements. The pearl started affecting Michael's body.

Raphael: Now, you are definitely one of us and can help to protect Angeline.

Michael: Why? Why did you let me have the powers too?

Raphael: I see that I can trust you and I can see how much you care for her, and you already know about us. So now you are one of us, so if someone founds out, you will be affected as one of us too.

Michael: Ha, so that's the reason, but thanks for trusting me. I will do my best to protect the one I love.
