48 - Case Closed

RJ's POV

As agreed, we again convene after we received the result of the DNA test for Patrick and Charm. As expected, both of them appeared zero parental probability of Celestine.

"I guest it is clear that there is no case to file in the first place. Obviously wala kayong pwedeng habulin, only my client has the right for Celestine's custody." Atty. Gonzales told Patrick and his legal team.

"Yes Panyero, we understand we deeply apologized for the inconvenience." Atty Sandro replied, while Patrick's head is down.

"I'm sorry too Atty. Velez but my client is filling a restraining order against your client. He is not allowed to go near Charm and Celestine anywhere, anytime. You see, we do not know his real motives are, therefore we believe that to surely protect them, we need to distant them from him. I hope you understand Panyero." Atty Gonzales said.

"Of course we understand. Thank you very much for your time Atty. Gonzales, Mr. Faulkerson, Mrs. Faulkerson, thank you very much." Atty. Sandro said.

"Can we have a minute please Atty Gonzales and Atty Velez? I would like to talk to Charm and Richard alone." Patrick said.

"Will it be alright Richard?" Atty. Velez asked.

"Sige ok lang." I replied.

"Ok we will just be outside if you will need us. Mas maganda nga sigurong mag-usap kayo na rin kayo para maging malinaw ang lahat." Atty. Gonzales said and leaves his office with Atty. Sandro. Patrick remains speechless even if the legal counsel have leave the room after several minutes already

"Did you ask them to leave para lang titigan ka namin ng asawa ko, Patrick?" I asked.

"I want both of you to know that I am not sorry for what I did and I stand by my belief that your marriage is a fake, therefore I am not loosing hope that Charm and I will get back together." Patrick said.

"Bilib talaga ako sa tapang ng apog mo Ledesma. Sobrang bilib mo sa sarili mo eh tanga ka naman." I straightly said.

"Watch your mouth Faulkerson, I can sue you because of what you have said." Patrick replied.

"Bakit tutoo naman tanga ka eh, do you remember when you asked me to count backwards from the time Celestine was born? Be proud Ledesma, sinunod ko ang payo mo. I counted backwards and found out that you are right, you and Olga were still together when Celestine was conceived." I said.

"Exactly. Therefore Olga cheated on me, too Charm. He slept with another man while we are still together." Patrick said.

"How dare you accused Olga of being a cheater? Olga never had another man other than you." Charm fiercely replied.

"What made you so sure Charm? We were both busy cheating on her, too. We never know, what if yung mga pag-uwi nya ng gabi noon is not about her school but rather she was dating another man." Patrick insisted. I was to surprised to see Charm quickly stands and walks towards Patrick and gave him a huge slap on his face.

"Bawiin mo ang sinabi mo about Olga, Patrick. You don't have any right to accused her of being a cheater because it was you and I who cheated on her." Charm exclaimed.

I stood up and pull Charm back to her seat while Patrick touches his cheek which was slaped by Mendoza Girl, mabuti nga sa yo gago ka eh.

"Olga never cheated on you Patrick, as I have said I counted backwards from Celestines birthday therefore Olga never cheated on you" I said.

"Ikaw ang tanga Faulkerson, if you count nine months backwards you'll realized that we are still together when Celestine was conceive. Ilang beses ba nating uulitin ang kabobohan mo?" Patrick said and I just gave him a smirk while shooking my head.

"I pity you Ledesma. For your information, hindi ako ang bobo, malamang ikaw, hindi mo ginamit ang utak mo eh, kung meron man. Learn to get the facts first before ka pumutak na parang bakla. Celestine was a premature baby, therefore you and Olga already broke-up when Celestine was conceived, kaya impossibleng anak mo si Celestine." I confidently said.

"Patrick, for your own sake please, mag move on ka na dahil hindi na ako babalik sa yo. My marriage with RJ is not a fake, we love each other and we are definitely happy when we are together, so please Patrick, maging maligaya ka na lang para sa akin." Charm said.

"I love you so much Charm, everything that I am doing now are all for you. You do not know how broken I was when you broke up with me." Patrick said.

"What we had was wrong from the very start Patrick, maybe that is the reason why it ended that way. Don't worry about me, RJ will take care of me and Celestine. Thank you for loving me so much pero hanggang dun na lang talaga tayo eh. I will pray that you'll get over me and you'll find the girl who will give you the sincerest love that you deserve." Charm said.

"We are serious about the restraining order Patrick. That is my way of protecting my family. So I suggest you give up on overseeing the project and start living a happy life without the memory of my wife. It is time to think about yourself. You needed that." RJ said.

Charm's POV

It's a relief that our issue with Patrick is over. I really thought that it will be a long battle, thanks to the very clever Faulkerson, Jr. After our talk with him, I sincerely wish that he'll get to meet that girl who could give him the happiness that I was not able to give him.

Now we can all move on from what happened in the past. Wherever my dear Olga is, right now, I know she is happy for me. Perhaps, the universe allowed all of this to happen to put things in order. Now I am certain that there someone I can hold on to, in sickness and in health, for richer and for poorer. 'Till death, do us part.
