Susan froze. She was taken aback by Lola's attitude. How could a small child be this unfriendly? How could she humiliate her Arya so badly?
The little girl, Arya, glanced at Lola and withdrew her outstretched hand. In the next second, she burst out of the room, bawling her eyes out.
Susan glanced at Lola, gave her a mean look then followed her daughter out.
"Lola, why did you do that?" Mrs. Bai was confused too. Lola had never been such a rude girl. What was the meaning of this?
Lola glanced at her with a small frown then she suddenly smiled. "But I'm really not here to make friends, Mrs. Bai. I was only telling her the truth."
"But that was so rude of you. You should apologize to your cousin. Otherwise, no one will like you here." Mrs. Bai said sternly, to which Lola shook her head.
