Talk With Sense Sometimes

Xander gave Yera the space that she requested. Although he missed her so badly, he tried his best to control himself. He was dying inside as the days passed by. He went back to sleeping on the couch in their room, and Yera no longer came to rest in his private room either. She now used the on-call room if she needed to rest.

Xander hoped that it would not take long for Yera's anger to dampen. This heart-rending phase needed to end soon because otherwise, he would go crazy. He didn't want to end up doing some stupid things, like kidnap her and lock her up with him somewhere just so he could be with her.

Xander sighed at his own silly thoughts. Tomorrow he would go to a team-building retreat of Yera's group and would stay there for five days. He planned to woo her again, starting tomorrow, because he believed he had given her enough space already.
